The Island/Getting There
One of the largest and greenest of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is far more than its trademark blue-hued seas and sandy coastline. With its UNESCO World Heritage status and unbeatable strolling opportunities, there is no better place to start exploring than the main town and its historic old quarter, where ancient churches, scattered ruins and a handful of museums mean Corfu’s layers of history can be found just about everywhere. And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. You can easily book your tickets using the link below or the search engine - the port you are looking for is "TBC".
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe pool has a shallow end of 80cm, suitable for children of 1.2m and above. Barbati beach is a clean beach and is great for snorkelling; you can also get boat trips from there. It is pebbly, so it's a good idea to bring beach shoes. There are watersports on the beach too.
There are plenty of things to do in Corfu, a waterpark and aquarium are good for days out. Boat trips and watersports are available from the nearby beach. A visit to in Corfu Town is worthwhile, with its fort and Venetian influence. The island also hosts great museums and archaeological sites.
