Fantastic
Absolutely fantastic week, our breakfast and evening meals were cooked by George which were super. Would definately recommend to make full use of the chef as we found for 14 of us it was definitely more economical + Constantina laid the table every morning and evening then cleared it all away in fact we didn’t have to do anything.
Akis was our driver from 10-6pm + we also had the use of a seven seater car. Akis was a lovely helpful man who was very knowledgeable of things to do and see. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended to lots of people -
Villa is very nice!
All good, the villa is very nice!

Outstanding
We recently spent two weeks staying in this wonderful villa. It really was like staying in a hotel, though with complete privacy. Dimitris and Nancy are on hand if you have any queries. Nothing was too much trouble, and they ensured we had everything we required. The gardens are beautiful and maintained; the pool is at a lovely temperature.
The location you can walk to is some restaurants and cafes about an 8-minute walk downhill, though slightly longer, coming back as uphill. Lovely walk downhill to Corfu port 15 minutes walk and Corfu Town 25 minutes.
The staff are wonderful, the chefs are incredible, and the food was some of the best food we have eaten. The chefs are included in the cost of the Villa. You pay for the food which is invoiced to you at the end of the week however this does come at a slight price. Kostatina, the waitress in the evening, was lovely, so kind and caring again, nothing too much trouble. The morning waitress/ cleaner, what a hard worker she came in every morning, and the house was always clean from top to bottom. Marius, the PT, was great; really nice to have the option of having PT sessions with him as and when we wanted.
Last of all Akis, our driver for the two weeks. What a wonderful, kind, charming person. He really did make our holiday. His recommendations on things to see and do were just perfect. He organised a boat trip for us on his uncle's boat, and it was incredible.
The children loved Akis, and nothing was too much trouble. We spent quite a few evenings out of the villa as some places you just have to experience at night. It’s definitely worth the €50 extra for him to stay on. The Corfu town at night is amazing, all lit up, the music. He had so much knowledge and love for Corfu he was the perfect tour guide.
Overall we absolutely loved our two weeks stay here and would highly recommend it. There was something for everyone. We really do hope to return one day. Thank you -
The perfect family hoilday villa!
Our family has just enjoyed the perfect family holiday at Duchess Alexandra Villajo. The combination of luxury accommodation and amazing staff made for one of the best trips we have ever been on and we will be sure to return.
From the moment we arrived at the airport Akis, our driver for the week, was great. Being such a friendly helpful person with lots of ideas made all the difference to our family. We really felt like we had our own tour guide.
The two chefs at the Villa are incredible and produced the most Delicious meals. I can’t express how good they are to be honest, adapting to all our needs. 3 children, 2 gluten free, 1 vegan and everyone else wanting everything! Every meal was one of those occasions where full to brim but just can’t stop eating!
We took full advantage of Mario, the Villa’s own PT who designed specific workouts for us, we needed it after all the amazing food!
What I love most about this Villa is that you really have all the advantages of a 5 star hotel, gourmet food, a chauffeur, a PT and friendly and caring house staff keeping everything looking great whilst in the comfort and privacy of your own Villa.
Thank you Dimitris and all his staff, we will be back! -
Amazing Stay
We had an amazing stay at Duchess Alexandra Villa. It is such a beautiful place and what is even more special is the hospitality of the owners and staff. We felt so pampered! The two chefs at the villa are absolutely brilliant; we felt so lucky to be indulging in such amazing, fresh, authentic Corfiot food – in fact we ate most of our dinners home for this reason (chefs are included and guests pay for ingredients which are shopped for daily)! In addition our driver Akis (whose services are also included with the villa) is a knowledgable guide, concierge, driver all rolled into one. Everything was organized for us so we could just relax and we had such a great time learning from him and exploring different parts of the island (without worrying about directions, parking etc.). Owners Nancy and Dimitris have obviously put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. Everything is beautiful, the restoration of this historic villa is top notch and it was the first time in a long time that we as a family have been able to truly relax. Watching the cruise ships depart each day, listening to the cicadas and the kids having a blast in the pool after a day of activity while enjoying a drink on the terrace with a view…it doesn’t get much better than this! A truly unique experience.I did not like….leaving!

A Wonderful Time
It was a wonderful time: For the time being, of course, our dear hosts Dimitris and Nancy, but also our excellent chef Denis, our attentive, dear driver and companion Akis, our motivating fitness trainer Marius, the diligent and lovable Lana, but also the two very nice, reliable girls Michaela and Ilda contributed to an unforgettable stay! That was friendship and worth much more than five stars!

Magnificent
Having had the holiday of a lifetime in Kassiopi in the North of the island two years ago, we couldn’t wait to visit the East Coast this time – near popular Corfu Town – and stay in a villa that looked absolutely magnificent.
Collected at the airport by our amiable driver, Akis, we were greeted at the villa by friendly owner Dimitris, who welcomed my wife, two teenage children and I with freshly squeezed orange juice and traditional Greek cheese pie, made by the villa’s own chef, before giving us a guided tour of his glorious 19th century mansion.
Set over three floors, with traditional well-equipped kitchen, five bedrooms and six bathrooms including a separate annex, the villa was fully refurbished in 2018, yet pleasingly boasts many of its original features, including a majestic wooden staircase spiralling the floors, which floods the property with timeless ambiance.
Combining ultra-modern additions with old school elegance, the villa is almost palatial in its communal living areas, with regal mirror, seats and glass dining table, whilst the bright, airy bedrooms and plush, elaborate bathrooms radiate luxury and contemporary romance.
With two teenagers in tow, the games room, featuring an array of consoles, was an instant hit, but it was the large outdoor pool, with its dramatic ocean views, that really stole the show, providing hours of carefree fun and relaxation thanks to a week of wall-to-wall sunshine.
Evenings were spent enjoying freshly prepared meals in the villa – the chef simply asked in advance what we’d like before creating it with a dash of magic – or exploring the vibrant bars, shops and restaurants of nearby Corfu Town.
The pick of an eclectic bunch was Limoncello, an enchanting bar and restaurant offering welcome aperitifs, traditional Greek favourites and laid back, mellow aura.
From chambermaid to chef, waiting staff to driver, the villa team were welcoming, friendly, unintrusive and helpful to a tee. I truly hope Dimitris gets the bookings his magnificent property deserves in the coming months, as the renovations are splendid and Duchess Alexandra most deserving of visitors … who are in for an absolute treat!

Wow, What A Place!
We expected amazing from the photographs but did a happy little dance on arrival, blown away by jaw-dropping views and the size and sheer beauty of this striking 19th century property.
Much more than just a holiday Villa, Duchess Alexandra is a stunning three-storey mansion, alive with regal elegance, awash with traditional charm. Cleverly combining all the mod cons whilst preserving the allure of bygone Greece, we were enchanted the second we stepped over the threshold - in love by the time we left.
Walking through the gates onto the pretty courtyard, our first gasp was at the superb sociable outdoor space, including floral arches and a huge covered oak dining table with breathtaking Ionian Sea backdrop.
The perfect setting for memorable al fresco dining, we enjoyed many a mouth-watering breakfast here, and exquisite evening meals under the stars, all cooked by the villa’s very own chef in his professional kitchen, close by.
The heated outdoor saltwater pool, surrounded by lawn and sea-facing sunbeds, was an invitation for hours of relaxation, splashing around on inflatables with the kids and swimming lengths in the sunshine, drinking in the view.
Vino in hand, at sunset each night, we meandered the quaint cobbled path to an abundance of colourful plants, trees and flowers in the blossoming gardens, before heading up to the second floor balcony for a nightcap overlooking Corfu’s glorious, mountainous greenery.
Shown around the villa on arrival by Dimitris, the accommodating and very friendly owner, every room we entered drew fresh awe, with the beautiful bedrooms on the second and third floors each boasting their own unique identity, Lemon Orchard, Ionian Seas, Summer Meadow, Corfu Dawn and Corfu Dusk.
Our room, the aptly named Ionian Seas, offered an idyllic ocean backdrop, luxurious new en-suite bathroom and traditional marble fireplace, ensuring we embraced modern opulence and timeless elegance every time we entered.
With Akis, our professional, super-friendly dedicated driver, days out were carefree and easy, but his best decision by far was to let us in on a little secret … Barbati Beach; a picture-perfect cobbled cove resembling a dreamy Caribbean postcard.
The locals call it the ‘Bay of Diamonds’ in testament to its crystal clear blue-green waters and the way the sun’s rays just dance off them. We called it paradise, and visited every day.
We can’t wait to return to Duchess Alexandra next year to show our parents everything this beautiful villa – and equally beautiful island – has to offer.

Villa Meets Hotel Service
A lovely villa with a really gorgeous view of the sea – such a selling point! I like the “villa meets hotel service” idea, and everybody was very friendly. The interiors look fresh and new, while maintaining a traditional homely feel. I liked that traditional Corfiot and Greek cuisine was on offer, and the homemade jams and cakes are a really nice, personal touch. All in all, a really lovely property and a great stay. I can definitely see many stressed-out families being able to unwind and relax here.
-
Amazing
The staff are truly what makes the place. Just the loveliest group of people and they’ve all now got a very special place in my heart. And having Akis – the driver – and the van was just brilliant. That’s a huge plus for people – the local knowledge, the not having to drive – just a huge asset. Plus the not having to cook! I think the staff are a massive USP for the villa which really needs to be shouted about.
There are loads of villas people could hire, but to have the chef, driver, cleaning etc. is just amazing.

Fabulous villa, great service
We chose this villa at random, with no real previous knowledge of Corfu or this villa. The owner, Dimitris, has put a huge effort into making a special place to visit. Fully air-conditioned, great views, lovely pool - all as described. But the place is also spotless, and the services of the chef, who uses a detached professional kitchen, are a real cut above. We only left the villa to get wine (!), but Dimitris took us there in the minivan that is always at your disposal.
Can’t fault it. -
A Private Oasis
Fabulous living stay inside and outside the villa hosting, a luxury stay for our family. Comfortable beds viewing the sea. A private oasis for relaxation and recreation, furnished with hand pick antiques even in the huge bathrooms. Extravagant outdoor living quarters with extensive private garden and a private swimming pool offered our family a slice of paradise. Delicious meals cooked by a talented chef by the pool viewing the sea. Unforgettable experience.

Wow!
Wow! This sums up my impression of Duchess Alexandra villa. We were met at the airport and whizzed the short distance to he villa. Hidden behind a large unassuming gate is this beautifully restored house. The attention to detail was immense. The bedrooms like a country house hotel, toiletries in the bathroom, stunning bathroom fittings shouting Victoriana. First thing in the morning I swam and the view to the sea was pretty special. If you want to burn calories there is a current machine to swin against. The chef's food was delicious, and whilst he was there he wasn't obtrusive. We spent hours sat at the dining table, watching cruise ships, sail boats and more, and chatting about nothing. We could walk into Corfu town, and the sandy Kontokali Beach was a short drive away. Would we return? You bet we would. The worst thing was having to leave.

Beautiful setting and wonderful service
We had the most wonderful time at Duchess Alexandra Villa. It’s close location (just 10-15 mins) from the airport meant we were off the plane and into our private pool for a night time swim in no time. The very hospitable owners Dimitris and Nancy went out of their way to make us feel so welcome, they even picked us up from the airport and the daily maid service and a car on site to hire for the days we wanted to go and explore were such great additions to our stay. Leonidas, the chef, cooked us some of the most delicious meals I have eaten not only in Greece but period - ask for his seafood orzo! It made for such relaxing mornings and evenings not to have to think about cooking and cleaning up – and meant we actually had a holiday! Watching the sunrise/sunset over the pool and out to sea from the outdoor table and terraces was a highlight and we spent long lazy evenings chatting away with our group, sipping wonderful local wine and gorging on the most delicious meals. I can’t wait to go back and will be telling all my friends and family about Duchess Alexandra for a long time!
