This designer-led beachfront gem is situated between the picturesque town of Lefkimmi and the sleepless crowds of Kavos on a tranquil olive grove estate. This brand new villa has been designed with luxurious comfort in mind and offers all sorts of wonderful treats. With its contemporary Ionian style with tones of the Aegean islands and its private swimming pool with jacuzzi, its wonderful alfresco deck and its very own luxury Hamman, Villa Ammos is the perfect location to relax and unwind. What utter bliss!
The villa boasts two luxurious bedrooms and is furnished with a gorgeous double sofabed so it is possible for 6 guests to sleep here. Villa Ammos is part of a small group of properties so although totally private, guests have access to the facilities and services provided by the estate. These include an outdoor fully equipped gym, in-villa massage, yoga, personal trainers, speed boat trips to Paxos and Antipaxos, professional photo shooting and their fabulous dining service where chefs prepare delicious, specially selected local and international cuisine in your villa.
Villa Ammos is a striking, contemporary, ice cube styled single-storey villa. Two dazzling white buildings are connected with embedded wooden joists. The smaller building is the dreamy Hamman room, and the much larger building is the villa itself. The front and rear landscaped gardens are stunning with minimal exotic plants including many architectural blades of grasses and palms. There is parking for two cars. To the rear is the seafront gorgeous iroko wooden deck complete with luxury alfresco furniture for dining and lounging. It is the perfect spot to enjoy your holiday read whilst soaking up the brilliant Greek rays or for early evening cocktails. The 30m² swimming pool and jacuzzi are gorgeous and look even more beautiful at night. The outdoor shower is very welcome. The breathtaking private beach is at an arm’s reach and is furnished with luxury loungers and parasols.
Villa Ammos is absolutely beautiful, and though minimalist in design it is clear to see the thought that has gone into every single detail. The two elegant and cool king bedrooms are an absolute delight with quality linens, a choice of pillows, beautiful lighting and direct access to the gardens. The bathroom is stunning with a huge walk-in shower and a very indulgent feel. Extravagant luxury toiletries, slippers and bathrobes are provided for your comfort.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area are beautiful with huge bi-fold doors opening onto the deck. The outdoor and indoor space blends perfectly as one. The kitchen is contemporary and perfect for your holiday, and the furnishings are modern and swanky. When chilling, guests can enjoy the home cinema TV with satellite channels and Netflix.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa AmmosThis wonderful Villa Ammos is located on a long sandy beach on the south east of the island between the charming town of Lefkimmi and the bustling, vibrant resort of Kavos. You really have the best of both worlds with the tranquil calm in this lovely olive grove with its private beach yet you are close enough to have a wild night out!
Lefkimmi is the second largest town on Corfu after Kerkyra. It is built amongst the olive groves and vineyards of the area. The harbour offers daily ferries to Igoumenitsa on the mainland and trips to Paxos and Antipaxos and around the island. Lefkimmi is good for supermarkets as well as having a delightful selection of bars and restaurants.
If you want to head for an organised, busy beach then you should head for the 8km of sands at Kavos. With high-speed water sports, a huge range of inflatables, bungee jumping, beach bars and restaurants, the beach has it all. Kavos is very bubbly and is the island’s party capital. Other popular beaches are Agios Georgios South Beach and Halikounas Beach where you can try out some kite surfing.
Corfu Town, or Kerkyra as it is otherwise known, is one of the most beautiful and elegant towns in Greece. Though 7th in size, it is one of the most populated in the whole of the Ionian Islands. The beautiful architecture has many strong influences including Sicilian, Venetian, French and English and the town is brimming with elegant mansions, magnificent palaces, beautiful squares and majestic fortresses. The entire old city is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Corfu Town’s unique charm, sophistication, character and atmosphere should not be missed!
Overall the island of Corfu has over 120 beaches, a few hundred villages, nearly a thousand churches, a significant mountain range, valleys, waterfalls and forests as well as more than 3 million olive trees, three lagoons and numerous caves. The fauna and flora is world-famous due to the Durrell family and especially since the TV series. There is much to see on Corfu!

The Island/Getting There
One of the largest and greenest of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is far more than its trademark blue-hued seas and sandy coastline. With its UNESCO World Heritage status and unbeatable strolling opportunities, there is no better place to start exploring than the main town and its historic old quarter, where ancient churches, scattered ruins and a handful of museums mean Corfu’s layers of history can be found just about everywhere. And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Ammos is perfect for a family holiday. With lots of privacy and space, direct access to the splendid beach and a lovely swimming pool, it is a good bet. The managers can also help you with toys, baby equipment or anything else that may help.
There is a long list of things to do on Corfu with children. Of course one of the highlights will be the wonderful beach days. There are so many beaches to choose from, from hidden, quiet coves to magnificent, highly organised stretches of sand with water sports and dining facilities everywhere. It is just perfect having a private beach just a few steps away. Sidari Beach is very popular with families with its crystal blue water. Avlaki is also popular in the north of the island. A local school teaches children aged 11 and over to sail a dinghy or windsurf. Avlaki is also a good spot for equestrian fun at the local Dimitris stables. Children of all ages are welcome, and if the riders are proficient they may even get to discover the gorgeous coastline with the guides.
Children always love a water park and Aqualand Corfu is just the place for a thrilling day out. The park caters for all ages with a lazy river, a wave pool, kayaking, rafting and extreme slides such as the Double Twister, Kamikaze and the Hurricane Twist.
For a completely different non-water based day you could head to the majestic Mount Pantokrator. It is the highest peak in Corfu and a popular pilgrim spot. It takes roughly 2 hours for the return journey and boasts the most amazing views of the whole of Corfu Island. On a clear day you can even see Albania and Italy even though Italy is 130km away!
If you head into Corfu Town children will enjoy climbing the walls of the Old Fortress, the Venetian fort built in the 15th century or the New Fortress. The fortresses boast fantastic views of the turquoise seas. Also in Corfu Town, you can take a trip in Kalypso Star, the glass-bottomed boat that leaves the harbour to get close to the Ionian Sea’s fascinating marine life. A 10-minute boat trip from Corfu Town takes you to the tiny island of Vidos where you can enjoy feeding the rabbits, seeing the peacocks, swimming and having lunch at the charming taverna.
