Villa Asteri is situated in the village of St Spyridon, on the northeast coast of Corfu. The impressive villa holds a much-desired position, just a short stroll from the Blue flag beach and a selection of amenities, including both shops and restaurants. The village makes the perfect destination for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway in an authentic setting rather than a big, brash resort, while exciting Corfu Town is still just forty minutes away.
The brand-new villa, which was completed in May 2017, has been carefully designed and boasts stylish yet elegant interiors and luxurious furnishings. Villa Asteri can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across five spacious en-suite double bedrooms; the property is mainly set across one level with sections separated by internal stairs. The real 'wow' factor can be found in the central glass atrium; here is the main open-plan living accommodation comprising of living and dining areas and a kitchen. There is also a cosy, snug second kitchen, fantastic, especially for those travelling outside the peak season, and a playroom where a selection of children's toys can be found, great for keeping the little ones occupied and out of the sunshine for a while!
Outside, the grounds are surrounded by trees ensuring guests have complete privacy. The large terrace is excellent for those wanting to make the most of the Corfu sunshine by dining al fresco while admiring the impressive surrounding scenery. Guests will enjoy cooling off by taking a dip in the large private pool, the perfect place to soak up the tranquil setting.
What you should know…
- Guests travelling with children should make sure they take care on the internal steps
- While the villa has an excellent location within the village we recommend hiring a car to fully explore the wider area
- The end of stay cleaning is to be paid on top of the rates

The Island/Getting There
One of the largest and greenest of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is far more than its trademark blue-hued seas and sandy coastline. With its UNESCO World Heritage status and unbeatable strolling opportunities, there is no better place to start exploring than the main town and its historic old quarter, where ancient churches, scattered ruins and a handful of museums mean Corfu’s layers of history can be found just about everywhere. And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. You can easily book your tickets using the link below or the search engine - the port you are looking for is "TBC".
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Asteri pool area will be loved by youngsters of all ages. It features a large deep pool and a wading pool with two,'on-the-water', loungers. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach - so bring your towels and floaties, and you're all set!
If the villa and local beach aren't enough the northeast coast of Corfu offers plenty for children. There is a Donkey Rescue Centre at Paleokastritsa, where you can help the volunteers with grooming and petting, no entry fee but they welcome donations.
There are plenty of activities around the island for children of all ages. Paleokastritsa also has an aquarium. Waterparks are always popular with youngsters, and the Aqualand Waterpark in Agios Ioannis won't disappoint. There's another at Sidari. Mavroudis Family Museum and Modern Olive Oil Press in Vraganiotika have an insight of Olive Oil production and an excellent place to buy Olive Oil, and its products. If you go to the Vlacherna Monastery, you can take a small boat and see planes landing on the runway at the airport.
Corfu Town has fabulous architecture, and you can take an open-top bus to hear some of the island's history. Head to Spianada Square, from here you can see the Liston building with its shops. The Old Fortress is also worth a visit. Casa Parlante is a living museum in Corfu Town, showing you the life of a 19th-century nobleman. You can take a boat trip around the island; probably best to look at boats departing from Kassiopi harbour.
