Villa Christophoros is a boutique four-bedroom villa, brick-built and offering panoramic sea-view serenity with traditional elegance. Set in Kontokali, a charming village on the idyllic island of Corfu, the Greek villa provides the ultimate holiday package: sun, fun and food. You can book a chef, have a kitchen stocked with whatever you wish, a drinks menu and a myriad of family-friendly activities nearby.
Plush seating and luxurious furnishing give an elegant interior while the extensive patios and outdoor areas, surrounded by lush green gardens guarantee the ultimate in outdoor living. The inviting pool, with a built-in cooling jacuzzi, and sun loungers in the shallow part of the pool, all meaning relaxing here is so easy. Villa Christophoros enjoys the most fabulous sea views yet enjoys tranquillity from a private spot surrounded by poplar trees and stunning vegetation trees.
The air-conditioned villa has Wi-Fi throughout. The villa oozes Mediterranean style with high wooden ceilings, brick floors and a cobbled floor. The four bedrooms, two being suites, and four bathrooms are all light and modern with sofas in the suites to accommodate two extra people. There are two twin bedrooms, so the accommodation is perfect for a family group. From the spacious living room, with comfortable sofas inside and a flat-screen TV for effortless entertainment after memorable days exploring. A fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and microwave, completes the luxurious and hassle-free setting.
There are several sitting areas outside, so your party can spread out and relax, gathering later for meals and family time. Lit up at night with ideally placed lighting, you can enjoy alfresco and the beautiful twinkling lights of Gouvia Marina and beyond. While you lounge in the pool, gazing at the Ionian from your secluded hilltop spot, it's easy to imagine it's not a holiday villa at all, but your fanciest friends' home. For when you'd like to discover the area, snorkelling & other watersports are possible in the surrounding area, and car rental can be arranged. Corfu Town, with its' charming atmosphere, ancient architecture and lively squares, is also a short 7km away.
Set in a private estate, which it shares with Villa Kontokali, Villa Christophoros is perfect booked alone or, for larger groups with the neighbouring villa.
A private Chef can be booked and can provide one or two meals daily, breakfast and dinner, or just dinner; upon request and Chef's availability pending, dinner could be exchanged with lunch on selected few days. The Chef will do all the shopping, cooking, table setting, serving, table clearing and kitchen cleaning.
Neighbouring Villa Kontokali is close by but both villas are private and independant from once another. Perfect if you're travelling with another family.
NOTE: The cost of food is not included the price of the Chef; all groceries receipts will be handed over to the client by the Chef and should be paid in cash.

About the surrounding area of Villa ChristophorosPearched in the leafy area above Kontokali and the plush Gouvia Marina, just a short drive from Corfu Town, Villa Christophoros enjoys privacy with fabulous coastal scenery. You can visit the majestic old town of Corfu with a Venetian fortress and English Palace, not to mention the cricket pitch in Spianada Square. Stroll through the cobbled streets with dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and boutiques and pass by pastel-coloured architecture. More white sandy beaches, including Glyfada, can be found and there’s plenty of opportunities to take part in water sports like snorkelling, diving and sea kayaking.
For the keen divers, Corfu is known for being one of the best places in Greece to dive, with favourite dive sites around Paleokastritsa, Othoni and the Paxi islets. You can explore the beautiful bays of Paleokastritsa with sea caves, a scenic canyon and schooling barracuda.
For day trips, from Corfu, you can take a boat to Agii Saranda in Albania and wander around the nearby Roman ruins of Butrint or go to Paxos and Antipaxos, two small islands to the south-east. You could also go to the popular resort of Sidari – a quaint fishing village home to coastal sandstone cliffs and a brace of secluded sandy beaches. With plenty of things to see and do, you won’t get bored.

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. Best Suited For: All AgesWith an enclosed (partially fenced with glass and plants) private pool and garden area, plenty of places to play in the shade, and a sandy beach a short drive away. Villa Christophoros is an excellent place for families and children will be in seventh heaven in the huge pool with plenty of room to splash, and it's equally as great for serious swimmers.
Inside the villa there's plenty to keep them busy too, with a gaming room, cinema room, table tennis and Smart TVs in each bedroom if they want some quiet time in front of a movie, perhaps to avoid the sun at its hottest.
The nearest beach from the villa, Kontokali Beach, has calm crystal and shallow waters that are perfect for swimming. There are also plenty more shallow beaches and coves to choose along the coast.
For older children, there's an array of sports activities including sea kayaking, diving and snorkelling. From Corfu, you can take a boat trip to explore the islands rocky coves and shoreline, or drive into Corfu Town to explore historic sites including an ancient monastery, palace and fortress.
Aerobics, Cycling, Scuba diving, Canoeing, Horse riding are all available to do nearby. Toys, cots and highchairs can be provided on request, and the villa's staff will be happy to organise nannies and babysitters for you.

Our stay at Villa Kontokali and Villa Christophoros properties were nothing short of magical. My husband-elect and I chose to get married in Corfu and wanted a place for our family to stay, connect and chill.
