One of the largest and greenest of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is far more than its trademark blue-hued seas and sandy coastline. With its UNESCO World Heritage status and unbeatable strolling opportunities, there is no better place to start exploring than the main town and its historic old quarter, where ancient churches, scattered ruins and a handful of museums mean Corfu’s layers of history can be found just about everywhere. And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. You can easily book your tickets using the link below or the search engine - the port you are looking for is "TBC".
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe house is perfect for families with grassy areas for youngsters to use up excess energy and with no neighbours you won' be worried about them disturbing anyone else. You can remain on your sunbed whilst the kids help themselves to drinks and snacks from the poolside bar and fridge, perhaps even get them to serve you!
Make evenings in less stressful by booking a barbecue cooked by a local chef. If you prefer to venture out just 7km away is the traditional Corfuit village of Doukades, with a handful of traditional tavernas around the village square.
For days out Paleokastritsa has the 12th Century Monastery where you can see the daily comings and goings of the Monks, there's an old Olive press and (for adults only) try the Kumquat Liqueur they produce. Paleokastritsa has an aquarium which is worth a visit. Entry is around 6 euros with a guide. Achilleion Palace is another attraction with a house, village and a few shops. If they want more excitement most kids will enjoy Aqualand - located in Agios Ioanni, it is among the biggest water parks in Europe. Paleokastritsa also has a donkey sanctuary, which is free to visit.
The areas has many lovely beaches, Agios Spyridon being one of the best known. The typical Ionian village of Liapades in the Ropa Valley has a great beach, you can hire a small boat to explore the local coves, and the usual watersports and a diving club are situted on the beach. Here you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas too.

Secluded villa , beautiful views
September 2024 . A family group of 8, we had plenty of space with the outdoor area , garden and pool. The beautifully designed stone villa was comfortable and very well equipped with much care and attention paid to small details. The narrow road to the top was a challenge initially, but well worth it for the views and the seclusion. Our host could not have been more helpful and attentive , meeting us at the airport, helping with a mix up over hire cars and recommending great places to eat and to buy local produce for the BBQ. Thank you Stamatis, you were a star!

Peaceful with splendid views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. The location is remote but private and peaceful with splendid views. The host was very welcoming and fell over himself to be helpful during our stay. The accommodation is very comfortable with good air conditioning, wifi and insect screens at the doors. The kitchen is well equipped and there are a number of seating areas around the property for everyone to find their place. We (two adults in their sixties) went with 3 twentysomething youngsters. The youngsters enjoyed the pool area, the outside gym, the barbecue and the darts. You need a car but everything is within easy driving distance. It is a very nice place to return to after a day out.

The property was fantastic
The property was fantastic. Beautiful villa, spacious garden, magnificent panorama, spacious bedrooms
The owner / host met us at the airport to take us via a supermarket and on to a late lunch before taking us to the Villa and showed us around.
The unique Villa is very well equipped and immaculately clean.
The owner has all the information of the island to do as much or as little as you wish.
The house is fairly remote, but very safe and secure which brings the benefit of peace and quite and privacy, but you need to drive to go anywhere. The journey to the house is a tight winding road.
The amenities were all working and the aircon is really efficient.
We had a great week in the Corfu sunshine. -
A fabulous stay
We had a fabulous stay at Villa Fioretta, Corfu. It was extremely comfortable and private, away from the hordes of island visitors. a brilliant place to venture out from and to come back to! Our host Stamatis was very helpful and friendly.

Like a castle
Incredible, Villa is like a castle the brick is beautiful. Big range of facilities such as bbq area , bar area by the pool with darts, pool itself of-course is a good size . Many loungers and places to sit in the sun including hammocks. The kitchen is fully equipped even with juicers, coffee machine etc. extra things you don’t usually have. Living room had many games and cosy to chill in. Three kitties were the nicest cats I’ve ever met so friendly and doing good work of keeping away snakes since it is in the wilderness. Family are amazing, the son Kostas took us younger guys beach hopping, finishing with cliff jumping at Canal Damour. I’ll never forget that. Taking a large car or van is not recommended as the roads are steep and windy, had to swap the family van for two smaller cars, these had no problem. The Villa felt very safe, good security, there are cameras on the outside and all the doors had security gates a swell as decent mosquito nets not a single one got inside. The air con is very good and is situated throughout the villa you can control each rooms air con with a remote. Another little gem is that the villa had fruit and veg which you can harvest. Which fruit you have will depend what time of year you go, we were lucky to have Tomatoes, peppers, chilli, eggplant, melon but there were also banana and olive trees. Views of the hills and small nearby towns is almost panoramic and it’s incredibly peaceful. You definitely need a car for Corfu as public transport is practically non existent, and if you live up in hills it will take you a good 30minutes to get to supermarkets. Plus you want to experience the beautiful beaches so you need to drive or boat to them. This villa is perfect for families I really enjoyed it. So many nice touches and amazing hosts, Thank you.

Stupendous
The. Villa was stupendous. The owner extremely helpful. The views from the Villa were magical. It was never too hot. The different stations around the decking were brilliant. Drive a bit challenging but worth it for peace and quiet. Good communication between ourselves and Oliver's Travel. We all felt well rested and de-stressed.

Magical holiday
I stayed here rather indulgently with just my husband and our 2 children aged 10 and 13.
It was the perfect post COVID stay. The location is lush, tranquil and heart-crushingly beautiful. The owner Stamatis and his lovely wife and helpers are charming hosts: friendly without overdoing it and give great advice on places to go etc,
The villa is gorgeous and well equipped with anything you want. It's clean and has such lovely touches from the handcrafted leather, the giant rocking chair - I could read in that for hours and the lit pool for night-time discos.
Favourite things. Stamatis organised a private chef for a small dinner for my husband which was just what we needed after a day at sea. There is a lovely local restaurant just outside the village whose name I can't find. You sit under the trees in a gravel courtyard facing the small road. On Saturdays there is live music which was magical. We ate there at least 5 times. Greta specials and try the grilled mushrooms as a starter. Corfu Old Town for a special meal.
Corfu is beautiful and has so much to do. Unfortunately our children and ourselves loved the villa so much we pretty much camped there for 2 weeks. We will be back to explore more.
Thankyou for a magical post lockdown holiday. -
Stunning Hilltop Estate
We've just returned from a family vacation at this spectacular property and all three generations agree this was a beautiful, unique and lovely vacation. We've travelled to many parts of Europe but this was our first time in Greece, and Corfu was a great choice (Oct weather was nice and we made it just before the end of the tourist season so restaurants were still open). Owners were extremely helpful and every recommendation for the area they made was a great experience. The house is so beautiful and the views are as far as the eye can see, at the top of the hill surrounded by olive orchards and endless rolling hills. It feels remote at first, yet getting to all of the desired sight-seeing areas was easy once we learned the island. Thank you for creating such a great experience and sharing it with us!

Beautiful Inside & Out
We were a family of seven (grandparent of 77 years to grandchild of 7 years) who needed a large, well-designed space to ourselves to relax, spend time together but not be on top of each other. We wanted splendid view, a pool and a kitchen to cook in ourselves. Villa Fioretta fit our bill perfectly, down to the friendly and playful grounds cat, who entertained us and won our hearts. I was charmed from the get-go by the owner and his wife's warm welcome. Theirs is a family outfit, and they made sure we had everything we needed. Because we didn't rent a car, they took us frequently to the shops for our supplies. If you get a car, you will be more mobile, but this wasn't something we needed for our group. The house is well-designed and built, with excellent modern facilities but a lovely traditional stone structure. I would suggest not getting the catered food but definitely getting the barbeque guy.
The pool was our favorite spot, with its own fridge and bar area for snacks and cocktails. The grounds and countryside around were extensive and accessible enough for our pre-teens and the wifi good enough for our teenager. But all ages enjoyed most the barbeque and the pool space, especially under the stars. Walking down to the tiny village - no tourists - where the kids played with local kids, was another highlight for us.
