Overview
Villa Fotini is a superb detached villa conveniently located in an idyllic pastoral setting, less than 2.5 km from the shops, restaurants and lovely sandy beaches in the popular and picture-postcard resorts of Kato Korakiana and Dassia. It boasts gorgeous colourful gardens, an attractive private swimming pool and a total of four bedrooms.
This modern designed villa is constructed over two floors with the ground floor living area particularly spacious and bright, split in two levels, separated only by two steps. For those that need it, you can also find a quiet office room, where you can work for (hopefully not more than) a couple of hours.
Three of the bedrooms will be found on the ground floor: two doubles and a twin bedroom. One of the doubles counts with an en-suite bathroom and sliding doors to the garden. You can also find a self-contained apartment in the lower floor, this being ideal for those seeking some privacy. The apartment has a double bedroom, a small lounge with a kitchenette, and a shower room. This is a perfect villa for groups of friends, or three-generations family holidays!
Flowing through the entrance foyer, you will find large patio doors leading out to the terrace and pool deck. Allows attentive parents to supervise the younger family members splashing about in the swimming pool from the comfort of the lovely outdoor sofas, a perfect vantage point for the hotter parts of the day!
This truly is a serene setting, with idyllic gardens, a fabulous private swimming pool and less than a 5-minute drive from the beach and resort facilities; what more could you possibly ask for from a holiday villa.
What you should know…
- Although the nearest restaurants and cafés can be reached on foot, they might be out of reach for those with walking difficulties (or even the fittest in the extreme heat!), so we recommend hiring a car
- There are a few steps both inside the villa and in the outdoor area, so it may not be suitable to those with mobility issues

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa FotiniVilla Fotini is ideally located in the outskirts of beautiful Dassia, in a blissful countryside setting. Dassia Beach is a charming pebbled beach with amazing watersport potential. Guests can try out paragliding, waterskiing or even take a pedalo out onto the calm waters. Dassia town has all the amenities families could need, including shops, ATMs, cafes and restaurants; it is perfect for an evening stroll!
You could spend your days sunbathing by the pool at Villa Fotini, but if you decide to go out and explore, you will find that Corfu is a wonderful island with activities and tourist attractions galore!
Corfu Town is a must-see when you are in the island. With its narrow, winding lanes, and small shops, it is easy to get lost and wander around the centre of the town. Built on the site of a former acropolis atop a rocky peninsula, visitors can walk up to the top of the Old Fortress for captivating views, passing a small chapel and museum along the way.
You can visit the mighty Achillleio Palace, where Empress Sissi used to spend her time during the summer months, it is just over half an hour from the villa. Located in Gastouri, the palace was created in 1898 and was inspired by Greek mythology in design. The palace is encircled by beautiful gardens and has amazing views of the Ionian Sea.
Corfu famously has lots of glorious beaches to spend a day with your toes in the sand and a leisurely swim in the Ionian Sea. Besides Dassia and Agios Nikolaos nearby beaches, you can head to the other side of the island, and you will find the picturesque Paleokastritsa beach. Enjoy a Freddo Cappuccino while reading a book in one of the beach loungers – what else can one ask for?

The Island/Getting There

Excellent villa with great pool and fantastic location
The villa was immaculate clean, hosts were great and helpful with every little request we made. Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool A LOT.. and the pool toys provided by our hosts. Location was great as we wanted to visit various places , so it was very handy to be located in the very middle of the island. Best bakery / pastry shop in Corfu is 3 min drive from the property... good for buying fresh bread every morning before having breakfast at the pool side!
