Villa Kontokali is a boutique four-bedroom villa, offering panoramic sea-view serenity and contemporary coastal cool. Set in Kontokali, a charming village on the idyllic island of Corfu, the Greek villa provides the ultimate holiday package: sun, fun and food. You can book a chef, have a kitchen stocked with whatever you wish, a drinks menu and a myriad of family-friendly activities nearby.
Shaded by trees and parasols, and surrounded by lush green gardens dotted with colourful plants and flowers, the inviting pool is a lovely spot to pass the day (especially with a cooling drink in hand). There’s covered grassy areas – perfect for children to play safely and in sight – and plenty of chairs and sun loungers for you to kick back and relax on.
The air-conditioned villa has Wi-Fi throughout. The villa oozes Mediterranean style with interior white-washed walls and terracotta tile roofs. The four bedrooms and five bathrooms are all light and modern and three bedrooms plus the living areas are set on one floor, allowing for easy access to the pool and grounds. From the spacious living room, you can open the glass double-doors and step right out onto the sun terrace. A fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and microwave, completes the luxurious and hassle-free setting.
We must give honourable mentions to the outside dining areas with their stylish furnishings. Lit up at night with ideally placed lighting, you can continue dining alfresco into the evening. There’s also comfortable sofas inside and a flat-screen TV for effortless entertainment after memorable days exploring.
While you lounge in the pool, gazing at the Ionian from your secluded hilltop spot, it’s easy to imagine it’s not a holiday villa at all, but your fanciest friends’ home. For when you’d like to discover the area, snorkelling & other watersports are possible in the surrounding area, and car rental can be arranged. Corfu Town, with its’ charming atmosphere, ancient architecture and lively squares is also a short 7km away.
A private chef can be booked, as extra, and will provide one or two meals daily, breakfast and dinner, or just dinner; upon request and chef's availability pending, dinner could be exchanged with lunch on selected few days. The Chef will do all the shopping, cooking, table setting, serving, table clearing and kitchen cleaning. Prior to arrival please advise about any dietary preferences for the first one or two days; for the rest of the stay the menu can be discussed directly with the Chef.
Neighbouring Villa Christophoros is close by but both villas are private and independant from once another. Perfect if you're travelling with another family.
NOTE: The cost of food is not included the price of the chef; all groceries receipts will be handed over to the client by the Chef and should be paid in cash.
What you should know…
- The villa is set on a hilltop, so it’s easier walking to the beach than it is back, effectively making a car essential.
- The villa shares the estate with neighbouring Villa Christophoros, yet has total privacy from the other villa with a thicket of trees between the villas.

A wonderful week..
We've just returned from a wonderful week staying at this beautiful villa, everything about our stay was perfect.. from the most amazing host Nick who was truly outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing - there was a beautiful welcome hamper on arrival, the villa and pool was absolutely beautiful set in magical surroundings with stunning views and a gorgeous garden and ancient trees. The chef and housekeeper all such lovely people that went out of their way to help as much as possible. Thank you for helping us to make such wonderful memories at this amazing villa, we had a fantastic stay with our family, we would highly recommend!

A little piece of paradise in Corfu!
A little piece of paradise in Corfu!
We have just returned from the most fabulous week staying at Villa Kontakali. The Villa is beautiful, luxurious, spacious, with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful holiday. The attention to detail is second to none with lots of little extra touches to make your stay comfortable. The views are absolutely spectacular, and the grounds beautifully manicured. As a gardener , I appreciated all the ancient trees, and huge variety of shrubs and flowers to be found. There are many comfortable spots to eat and relax around the garden. We had lots of fun in the fabulous pool which is a great size and depth. Nick is a charming host, who provided us with lots of information and recommendations for places to eat etc. we enjoyed delicious meals in Aegli , Sayam and Avalle restaurants. Stunning views can be enjoyed on the coastal road up to Kassiopi , with lots of pretty bays to visit along the away. Corfu town is a must see with the exquisite Venetian quarter. A final mention must be made to Christina , the housekeeper, who was the most delightful , kind and hardworking lady. She really looked after us and made our stay so special. One of the best places we have ever stayed .We hope to return again in the future! -
What a view!
We had a lovely week at Villa Kontokali this summer (September). The view from the front lawn is picture perfect and can easily absorb one for a few hours at at time. It is so peaceful. The pool is a great large size, easy for everyone to enjoy. Step access and varying depths. Comfortable beds with 3 doubles on the main floor and one downstairs.
Nick, the owner, was an exceptional host. Really like no other. He provided lots of useful suggestions for places to eat, to go and day trips. Even with links to websites. Christina, the housekeeper was wonderful and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They both made our stay very special.
The location was great. A large grocery store nearby (car a must) and the sea slightly beyond that, though for snorkelling and swimming we drove up the coast.
We hired a boat (small and no licence required) for the day from Fontas Boats at Nissaki Beach. This was a great day out with lots of snorkelling and fish spotting.
Corfu has a very relaxed vibe. Corfu Town buzzes, especially when there are cruise liners in port - it can get very busy on these days. Still well worth going in for an explore. Lots of local items being sold which was great to see.
Another trip worth doing is taking time out in Kassiopi Bay. It is a lovely seaside town with lots of eateries and shops and a lovely little harbour and beach.
We hope to return to Corfu and Villa Kontokali again soon! -
Quiet Haven
If you are looking for a quiet and secluded haven to relax this is the place! The villa itself is beautiful with ample space for a family or group of friends, and the view is spectacular! Taking a dip in the pool at sunrise is definitely a must! Would recommend!
-
Magic holiday!
This is an absolutely magic holiday spot in Corfu that I couldn’t recommend more. It’s super private and in a stunning setting. I could wax lyrical however I’d call out three amazing things
1) we loved the pool and garden as well as the house. The pool is a fabulous 13m long and great for lengths
2) the team is beyond amazing. The housekeeper and our cook and her assistant went above and beyond every time and just blew us away with their kindness and care, as well as the seriously amazing food
3) Nick, the owner, is absolutely brilliant. So efficient, so responsive and just amazing at coming up with things to do like when we wanted to go out sailing for a day. He made it such an easy and relaxing holiday for us.

Extraordinary setting with hillside and water views.
Our family shared this villa with another family for a week in early June. The owner, Nick, serves as a fantastic host and concierge. He arranged a beautiful sailboat and skipper for the day for us. And he went above and beyond to help when my daughter got sick - he arranged for his children's pediatrician to see her and even drove us there!
The villa itself has an extraordinary setting with hillside and water views. It feels very tucked away, yet is not far from Corfu Town. Everything at the villa is clean and top of the line. Nothing is too much to ask of the amazing housekeeper.
The chefs were also good but be warned that grocery costs may be significantly higher than expected. -
Forever Memories
Our stay at Villa Kontokali and Villa Christophoros properties were nothing short of magical. My husband-elect and I chose to get married in Corfu and wanted a place for our family to stay, connect and chill.
The hosts of these properties were gracious, attentive and just all together amazing. Anything we needed was available and if it wasn’t, they assured we got it.
The property and view are so gorgeous that we decided to have our ceremony on the Kontokali property!
We will forever have the memories and love from this family and we are so grateful for an out of this world experience! Book it now!

Beautiful Views

Mr. Nick was a perfect host and the house is truly amazing and comfortable. The area is very close to town. The home services provided are excellent; the chef and the housekeeping are very polite, helpful and respectful. We highly recommend this home for a perfect vacation.
Thank you for everything

Amazing!
We had an amazing experience at Villa Kontokali. Niko was a terrific host who quickly took care of anything we needed with a warm and friendly attitude. The Chef and Housekeeper were both top notch, wonderful people, and incredibly effective and helpful. Our children loved the space and especially the pool. Everything was as advertised, super clean and made for a perfect Corfu holiday. I strongly recommend Villa Kontokali!
-
We loved it!
Amazing! The house is beautiful. Everyone that works with Nick is fantastic. The food was fabulous. Need a car if you want to explore but we were very happy relaxing in the beautiful grounds. Would recommend getting a boat for a day or two to explore the coastline. We loved it!”

Amazing
We loved the villa. When we arrived Nick met us with a welcome drink and the stresses of our travelling instantly lifted. Nick the chef is great, he even gets the shopping and there is drinks 'fridge and wine cellar you can purchase beverages from, all at shop prices. The food was all restaurant quality. We ate delicious meals and sat at the table watching the lights below flickering over the sea. I'm an earlybird so the sunrise whilst taking a morning swim was breathtaking, very instagram-able! The house and grounds were bigger than we expected, and so nicely styled. The beds we so comfortable and they'd thought of everything including hairdriers and toiletries. To sum it up we can't wait to return.

Breath-taking and Fab Service
Villa Kontokali was truly breath-taking. The highlights for me were the complete serenity and privacy we felt during our stay. Being high up in the hills meant we could completely switched off and relax. And the views were unbeatable! The outdoor space is huge so there were plenty of areas for all of us to relax; the hammock amongst the woodlands was a favourite of mine with a book. Alex, the chef and Irini the housekeeper were discrete but also made us feel completely relaxed and looked after. We had the most delicious restaurant quality meals, eating outside overlooking the ocean views and pool most days. Ask for Alex’s prawn saganaki! The owner Nick was also super helpful, meeting us at the bottom of the drive to help find the villa on arrival. He also had great storage of wine, beer and cold drinks for us to enjoy at supermarket prices – there really was no need for us to leave our beautiful villa. The beds were super comfy, with hotel quality linen and lovely toiletries. Everything was thought of here for the most relaxing and luxurious stay, I will be dreaming of being back at Villa Kontokali for a long time and can’t wait to go back there and tell everyone I know about it.

Beautiful views, great service
Our family of 6 stayed at Villa Kontakali in May 2019. The grounds and views are amazing with beautiful landscaping and sea views looking across to mainland greece as well as down at a local marina. The heated pool was a very nice touch, we were there in late May and water would otherwise have been too cold to swim, but we instead were able to spend a couple afternoons lounging by the pool and and swimming
Rental of the villa included a chef - Alex. The food was excellent!!! We had breakfast and lunch at the villa almost every day, and Alex asked about what we did / did not like and then recommended a menu each day. He did not disappoint - we are still talking about how fabulous the food was!
Rooms were nice size and our housekeeper (Irina?) provided excellent service as well
We also enjoyed that the property had a ping pong table, which we did use on the one day that we stayed at the property all day
The property owner - Nick - was very helpful in arranging transportation and welcoming us to the property, and even had a Thai masseuse come to the villa one day for us
Overall we were quite pleased with the villa and greatly enjoyed our stay -
Awesome Villa with an Awesome Service
It was a very pleasant and nice stay at this Villa with a great team from chef and housekeeper managed by the owner Nick! The chef was celebrating every day a nice selection of local and delicious menus together with a nice wine selection. The service team made us always happy and keeping the house silently in the background very clean. It was a nice stay with our friends and family there and our return is very certain under those perfect circumstances.

Perfect Holiday
If you are looking for a perfect holiday with surreal views, wonderful and attentive hosts, a luxurious and natural environment and complete relaxation then Villa Kontokali is the place for you.
The host Nick was amazing. Nick arranged everything for us, airport collection, car hire, tours of the island even shopping! The highlight of the trip was a day long trip on a Catamaran where we saw the coast of Albania, turquoise waters and the wonderful coastline and homes of Corfu.
The chef Alex - Nothing was too much trouble. Masterchef contestant, and a wonderful understanding of food! We had some amazing meals. The lovely Irene took care of all of our housekeeping and keeps the home absolutely spotless.
We were a multi generational family, my dad is 83 Years old and my youngest son 7 and Kontokali catered for everyone. The pool was warm and kept so clean!!
We will be back!!!
-
Fantastic villa!
Our stay was wonderful and the villa is of top quality. The space is fantastic - we had two families stay and there was lots of room. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and lovely. The outside space is simply perfect! Private and lots of space. The pool is amazing and our children loved it! The pool heating is a bonus for cooler months. The housekeeper looked after us really well and kept the house spotless. We also had the chef cook for us which was also lovely. We'd highly recommend Villa Kontokali and hope to return. Thanks Nick for your hospitality.

The Villa, Pool, Hosts...all excellent!
We stayed at Villa Kontokali for 12 nights. The owner met us at the airport. Pre-agreed food and drink supplies were in place for our arrival. The villa is very well located for boat trips (from nearby Kontokali Marina) and Corfu Old Town, as well as exploring the whole island. The owner, Nick, was always on hand to answer any queries and helped out with recommending boat trips, beach and restaurant recommendations etc. The villa was very recently renovated with new furnishings. It is stylish and comfortable. The pool and outside living spaces are delightful and the view across to mainland Greece is just sensational. The staff were wonderful! A daily cleaner (linen changes every two days) left the villa immaculate. A cook is included and is a real treat; you pay for the food and the cook will prepare two meals a day – we discussed with Maria the menu for the subsequent day and she is very flexible, also making recommendations. The food was delicious – we ate too much! Some days we opted for breakfast and dinner at the villa and others we opted for breakfast and lunch in order to dine out in the evening; you have total flexibility. It was our first visit to Corfu and we loved it. When we return, it is comforting to know that we have a hidden gem to return to.

Marvellous
Villa Kontokali is an extraordinary experience, Nikolaos is a marvellous host, thoughtful and attentive to every little detail.

Villa Kontokali
In July this year we have chosen for our family vacation sunny Greece. The most interesting for us in every respect proved to be the island of Corfu, and I must say that we have not regretted a single day; beautiful sea, wonderful views, great service and most importantly - attitude towards tourists simply fascinating!
But the key point of this trip was Villa Kontokali.
From the first minute we arrived at the villa we were the center of attention: we were met with a cold champagne bottle and light snacks freshly prepared, which after the flight was just what we needed. It was very nice to get such a welcome compliment! Next the Villa Kontokali! It is something amazing! Stylish and comfortable interiors of living rooms and bedrooms set us up immediately on vacation, we felt welcome and wanted to settle as soon as possible. I note separately that is incredibly convenient to have a separate WC in each bedroom, which allowed us to not interfere with each other, relax in seclusion and lie down and get up at different times. Also to the comfort of our stay added the handy and clean kitchen: everything from the ice maker to the Miele dishwasher! Continuing with the kitchen theme, having the meals prepared by a real pro, Maria the cook, was something incredible! Every single time the combination of dishes was so delicious we could not steer away from the meal.
In general, a separate note that Nicolas - (the villa owner) did everything possible to make us feel welcome. He was a very cordial and
hospitable host, easy going, responsive and who patiently always fulfilled all our requests. From the moment we arrived he was always with a smile and invited us with a delicious dinner.
Moreover, in the days when we preferred to just relax we could not but rejoice in having a clean pool and plenty of sun loungers to take a nap under the shade. For our active time we played table tennis and board games.
In short, the holiday was a success; and during our stay we hardly left from the villa, and we'll come back and certainly will bring friends! A wonderful place to relax with the whole family!
