Villa Parsley is surrounded by breathtaking nature, nestled amongst olive trees and facing onto the glorious Ionian Sea and overlooking the dramatic coastline. Exploring this magical island is easy as the island is only 39 miles in length so all highlights can be reached within an hour.

Villa Parsley is close to the lovely traditional village of Pentati which is small with a population of around 300. Meandering through cobbled streets you can pick up fresh local products from the well-stocked minimarket or sample a wonderful traditional restaurant where you might even be welcomed into the kitchen to choose your meal.

A leisurely stroll or short drive along the scenic coastal road leads to the splendid Agios Gordios Beach, one of the best beaches in Corfu. It took its name from the Church of Agios Gordios which is located literally on the sea, at the centre of the beach. This beautiful cove is nestled amongst the lush green mountain and surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and rocks. A huge rock, the Ortholithi, emerges from the sea. Agios Gordios offers 1.2 metres of golden sand, a stunning landscape and a good choice of bars, restaurants, tavernas and supermarkets. It is no surprise that Agios Gordios is a go to destination for so many travellers.

Chalikounas Beach is gorgeous and further south along the coast. With soft golden sands stretching for 2.5 km and crystal clear waters, you can also enjoy the natural beauty of the protected Lake Korission. The lake is a coastal lagoon separated from the beach by the sea and is over 5 km long and roughly 1.5 km wide. The lake is home to native and migrating birds including seagulls, owls, buzzards, swallows and if you are lucky flamingos. The beach enjoys a few beach tavernas and organised sections with sun loungers and umbrellas. Adventurers will love the kite club in the middle section of the beach where you can learn to kitesurf.

Well worth a visit is Corfu Town is one of the most attractive old towns in Greece. Falling between two great Venetian coastal fortresses, it is a maze of cobbled narrow streets opening out onto elegant mansions, magnificent palaces, beautiful squares and no fewer than thirty-nine churches including the beautiful Church of Saint Spiridon. The fabulous Mon Repos Palace is the birthplace of the late Duke of Edinburgh and the town’s exquisite architecture has many influences including Sicilian, Venetian, French and English. The entire Old Town is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, a tightly-packed warren of cobbled winding lanes bursting with lively bars, boutiques and fine restaurants. You will discover shops and stalls selling local items such as wild honey, fig cakes and handmade lace. There are also some interesting museums including the Byzantine Museum of Corfu which is housed in a 15th-century church. Others are the Museum of Ceramic Art, the D Solomos Museum and the Asian Art Museum.

  • Beautiful and relaxing!

    on 30/04/2023

It was so beautiful and relaxing! It is sad that it is still winter time so you can not enjoy the sea, but few days escape was so good for us! We loved the kitchen. It was so well equipped. And it was very good that they had a mini bar for the additional price but good wine in the evening was excellent! The villa was spacious and nicely designed. Also next to our entrance there was wild oranges growing on the tree - they were delicious!

  • Everything was 10/10

    on 17/02/2023

I love traveling and most of the time I prefer villas, but this one was something different. First of all you have your own beach private space. Of course there are stairs to the beach but the view that you get - worth it climbing them! There is a literal mini house that you can run away from company and have a romantic evening only for two. Moderm style, lots of greenery in the house, helpful staff - everything was 10/10. Very big garden outside with olive trees. It was one of the best stays I've had for a long time.

  • Really amazing!

    on 10/02/2023

I decided to meet a group of old friends in Corfu and was so glad we booked, because it's really amazing. There is a path, that goes straight to the sea. On that path there is also a hidden house that belongs to the villa and has a bedroom and a shower, so would be perfect for a romantic getaway. The villa itself is fully equipped, there's a barbeque place and private heated pool which we took advantage of. Lovely host met us and made sure that everything is fine, and we could contact her if we needed anything. I'd for sure recommend for a stay with friends.
