What you should know…
- When renting your own private boat for the day, beware of the Meltemi winds and head north in the morning and south in the afternoon - otherwise you'll all get soaked when returning to the boat later in the day...
- You can walk down to the village and beach easily enough, but it's a lot trickier climbing the hill on the way back...we highly recommend hiring a car (essential for stocking up on goodies). If you think you'll walk at night do take a good torch.
- The kitchen is small, but perfectly functional for a full house

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa TatianaVilla Tatiana sits in the north part of the marvelous Ionian island of Corfu. A pleasant 15-minute stroll down a hill brings you to Agios Stephanos, a quiet fishing village with an array of traditional Greek "tavernas", cafes, little shops and supermarkets. The closest beach is Avlaki (3km), an almost unspoilt Blu Flag bay suitable for families with small children.
To fully take advantage of all the beauties Corfu coast has to offer, we suggest hiring a boat (Agios Stephanos, Avlaki or Kalami) and get to explore the hidden treasures along the coast.
When you fancy doing some shopping or experiencing a lively nightlife, or getting fit playing tennis or going horse-back riding, head to Kassiopi (6km). This charming, little resort village a short drive from Corfu Town, is famous for its countless sandy beaches, watersports clubs, traditional tavernas serving mouth-watering local dishes and buzzybars.
Corfu town (36 km) seems like a fresco painting that has come to life. Liston’s elegant arcades hang over the marble paved square where the locals gather for a cup of coffee or a drink. The old part, with its special design and quiet, narrow roads is the biggest preserved medieval town in Greece.
Boasting an abundance of natural beauty, stunning beaches and a vivid nightlife, Corfu is probably the most famous Greek island attracting thousands of visitors every year. Corfu also offers vast options for entertainment, with candlelit restaurants, romantic bars and vibrant nightclubs covering all tastes and styles.

The Island/Getting There
One of the largest and greenest of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is far more than its trademark blue-hued seas and sandy coastline. With its UNESCO World Heritage status and unbeatable strolling opportunities, there is no better place to start exploring than the main town and its historic old quarter, where ancient churches, scattered ruins and a handful of museums mean Corfu’s layers of history can be found just about everywhere. And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. You can easily book your tickets using the link below or the search engine - the port you are looking for is "TBC".
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Tatiana is perfect for older kids, as they have plenty of space to explore and play around the villa. Due to its many steps, specially in the outdoor area, extra supervision is reccommended for babies and toddlers.
Corfu offers a myriad of water-based activities for both the young and the not-so-young! You can explore some of the many coves by renting a boat for the day, or do snorkelling in the local beach.
A day trip out to Corfu Town is a great family activity. At less than an hour drive’s away, the town has enough to keep you occupied for the whole day.

Villa Tatiana was Amazing
Villa Tatiana was amazing.
The view is spectacular and the facilities were fantastic. The house is very comfortable with lots of attention to detail and the service provided by both George, the owner, and his staff (especially Diana, the maid) are second to none. They work really hard to ensure a pleasant stay at a clean, well-presented and very comfortable property.
The location is great with spectacular views of San Stefanos - which has tavernas and a shop and another shop at Sinies - but in a peaceful, quiet location. Not far for more activity at nearby beaches or Kassiopi.
Thank you to George. We hope to be back soon.
