How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. You can easily book your tickets using the link below or the search engine - the port you are looking for is "TBC".
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Thalassa is ideal for children offering a large private garden filled with native plants and citrus trees to explore. Children can also take advantage of the onsite basketball net, ping pong table and climbing frame.
If the villa and local beach aren't enough, the north-east coast of Corfu offers plenty for children. There is a Donkey rescue centre at Paleokastritsa, where you can help the volunteers with grooming etc, no entry fee but they welcome donations.
Paleokastritsa also has an aquarium. Waterparks are always popular with youngsters and the Aqualand waterpark in Agios Ioannis won't disappoint. There's another at Sidari. Mavroudis Family Museum and Modern Olive Oil Press in Vraganiotika has an insite in to Olive Oil production and a good place to buy Olive Oil and it's products. If you go to the Vlacherna Monastery you can take a small boat and see planes landing on the runway at the airport.
Corfu Town has fabulous architecture and you can take an open top bus to hear some of the history. Head to Spianada Square, from here you can see the Liston building with it's shops. The Old Fortress is also worth a visit. Casa Parlante is a living museum in Corfu Town, showing you the life of a 19th century nobleman.
You can take a boat trip around the island, probably best top look at boats from Kassiopi, just a short drive away from the villa.

Incredible Time
We had an incredible time at Villa Thalassa. The location couldn't have been more ideal, with the beach, lively bars, charming restaurants, and convenient shops all within walking distance. It's truly a haven for anyone seeking a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment.
The villa itself is a dream for families with kids. The playground and the pool are a hit for the little ones, keeping them happily occupied while adults can unwind and enjoy the stunning surroundings.
Our stay was made even more memorable by the warm welcome we received from the property manager. Their hospitality and attentiveness truly added a personal touch to our experience.
Highly recommended for families looking for a hassle-free, fun-filled holiday in a prime location.

Great location!
A really good villa with lots of space and a great location. Suited to a family of varying ages and we used the pool a lot. Local taverna and small shops in easy walking distance as were small, but good, sandy beaches. (April chilly evenings).
Don't miss out! Reserve now and get a full refund if you change your mind within 48hrs.
