This exquisite three-bedroom villa in the north of Crete offers a luxurious stay in a thoroughly modern, elegant home with beautiful authentic Greek touches alongside contemporary design and the latest technology.
Arriving at the villa, there are two private parking spaces available, with entry to the property via a secure private gate. Within, the beautiful modern design blends perfectly with the rustic and traditional style walls and décor to create a soft ambience of calm and elegance. The entrance is into an incredibly modern and welcoming open plan living area and kitchen. In the spacious living room there is a large sofa, coffee table and dining table, all of a very high quality, a 42” television with satellite and a small chimenea, while a comprehensive entertainment centre will ensure you’re never bored! The dining area sits within the main living area, with a delightful table providing space for all the group to dine together. Alongside this living area is the beautiful kitchen, with all the latest kitchen technology and a large island on which you can prepare a delicious meal.
Two of the three bedrooms are found on this ground floor, while the master bedroom is on the first-floor. Both of the incredibly sleek ground-floor rooms have double beds and are designed with a lot of care and attention to create a calming ambience. They also enjoy direct access to the pool, deck and garden via large patio doors which allow plenty of natural light to penetrate the mood-lit rooms. There are two marble and stone bathrooms on this floor, one with a WC and one with a shower. The gorgeous stone and marble bathrooms are equipped with high quality towels, bathrobes, slippers, luxurious pure Cretan toiletries and the shower has hydro massage Air-Jets, to provide a thoroughly invigorating and therapeutic experience.
An almost futuristic staircase leads to the first floor, where the final bedroom can be found. This master bedroom is similarly designed with beautiful wood panelling and flooring surrounding a king size bed, large drawers and wardrobe, a writing desk, armchair and 37” LCD television. There is also a spacious marble-panelled ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath tub, for total mental and physical relaxation. The three bedrooms exude class and comfort, with vast windows and soft lighting complementing the upmarket and modern design. On this first-floor there is a veranda with large lounge armchairs and small tables, perfect for catching some afternoon sun.
In the garden, the vast outdoor kitchen and huge dining area, ideal for hosting large groups, creates the perfect space in which to rustle up a Mediterranean snack, or a fruit-filled breakfast. With a built-in barbecue, stove, blender and fully-equipped cupboards, you’ll find everything you need at your fingertips. In a separate part of the spacious garden is the pool, surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers and fruit trees, accompanied by wooden decking, sofas, chairs and loungers to give you the perfect space to spend a lazy afternoon. By night, you will find the pool lights up with tasteful mood lighting, creating a luxurious, gentle ambience. There is a second dining area alongside the pool, making it the ideal choice for an evening of great food, local wine and good conversation.
And all of this luxury is just a short drive from Chania, the stunning Venetian capital of Crete, and all kinds of bars, shops and restaurants.

About the surrounding area of Villa HeraChania, the capital of Crete, is one of the most famous towns of the Greek islands, particularly for its authentic culture and character and historic structures including its beautiful Venetian Harbour.
It is an incredibly well-preserved Venetian town with all kinds of Medieval architecture, framing a bustling metropolis of museums, churches, narrow shopping streets, waterfront restaurants and crafts shops. Alongside the stunning coastal areas and mountainous landscapes are an array of outstanding remains and glorious buildings of an ancient era, including a picturesque harbourfront and interesting venetian lighthouse.
Chania is also the perfect location to try all kinds of local cuisine, wine and traditional feasts – some of the best local restaurants include: The Well of the Turk, Antigoni, Karnagio, Chrysostomos and Above Chania. Furthermore, for educational and historical adventures you can visit the Maritime Museum, or the Archaeological Museum, or take a trip to one of the many surrounding monasteries or historical sites including the Samaria Gorge, Venizelos Graves or the unique architectural complex of Tabakaria.
To the north of the island are the more touristic beach areas, and to the south are the more secluded and traditional beaches, punctuated by small seaside villages, and of course there are thousands of deserted coves and isolated bays for private enjoyment, if you look hard enough! The West Coast beaches of soft sand and coloured pebbles, such as Falasarna, are around 38km away from Villa Hera, and the South Coast beaches with beautiful crystal waters, including Sougia, are about 53km away.

How to reach Chania
There are two ways to reach Chania: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: Chania Airport (CHQ) is only a 20 minutes ride away from central Chania. During the summer months, frequents overseas and domestic flights are performed. In most of the cases, there are available buses that connect Chania city and most of the villas. You can also hire a car from one of the many rental companies at the airport, or alternatively get a taxi to bring you right to your doorstep.
By ferry: If you choose to do an island-hopping trip and use the ferry as a method of transportation, then the closest port is in Souda, only 8km from the centre of Chania. Only ferries from Piraeus in Athens or Heraklion in Crete. Heraklion port has a wider choice: you can also take a ferry from other Greek islands like Santorini, Mykonos or Paros, but you will have to take a longer bus ride to reach your villa.
