Villa Searock has a fabulous location in the small village of Kokkino Chorio, close to the larger village of Plaka where helpful amenities and picturesque pebbled beaches can be found. Villa Searock makes the perfect base for those wishing to explore the region of Apokoronas and West Crete with unique sights such as Chania old town as well as the popular beautify spots of Elafonisi beach and Balos lagoon all in reachable distance, just a short car journey away.
The luxury, one-of-a-kind villa was completed in September 2016 and boasts high quality design, minimalist interiors and chic furnishings. The magnificent villas unique, cliffside location offers guests spectacular views over the sea and gorge as well as privacy and tranquillity, set far away from any prying eyes. Villa Searock can comfortably sleep up to ten guests across five spacious king-size double, en-suite bedrooms. On the entrance level is the master bedroom, it’s position on this floor means that it enjoys some of the most impressive views from the property, these can be appreciated from the bedroom’s private terrace. Downstairs, on the middle level is the living accommodation which comprises of an open-plan living and dining area as well as a fully-equipped kitchen complete with all necessary modern facilities, from here there is access to the pool and beautiful outside area. Going downstairs again are a further four luxurious bedrooms, each boasting gorgeous sea views.
Outside, Villa Searock has the real wow factor. The private pool is the perfect spot from which to admire the breathtaking scenery and panoramic views. For those wishing to indulge in some al fresco dining while in sunny Crete, there are dining facilities complete with barbecue.
What you should know…
- Those travelling with younger children should ensure they are not left to explore the gardens and secluded creek unsupervised
- While the villa has a rare and special location, a car will be needed in order to reach local amenities, beaches & explore the area.
- The villa dominates a gorge leading to a totally secluded creek, this is not accessible to the public. It is only accessible from the plot of the villa, but through a path that is off property limits. Access to the gorge is at own risk and not recommended to anyone without off-path hiking experience

How to reach Chania
There are two ways to reach Chania: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: Chania Airport (CHQ) is only a 20 minutes ride away from central Chania. During the summer months, frequents overseas and domestic flights are performed. In most of the cases, there are available buses that connect Chania city and most of the villas. You can also hire a car from one of the many rental companies at the airport, or alternatively get a taxi to bring you right to your doorstep.
By ferry: If you choose to do an island-hopping trip and use the ferry as a method of transportation, then the closest port is in Souda, only 8km from the centre of Chania. Only ferries from Piraeus in Athens or Heraklion in Crete. Heraklion port has a wider choice: you can also take a ferry from other Greek islands like Santorini, Mykonos or Paros, but you will have to take a longer bus ride to reach your villa. Amazing
I stayed in villa Searock with friends. The views are amazing, the villa is build in the rock overlooking a little creek.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and can sleep up to 10 people. Living room, kitchen and outdoor seating are all connected with a great access to the swimmingpool.
I would recommend a stay in wonderfull Searock villa to everybody who wants a relaxing holiday in beautiful Crete. -
Dream Villa
Villa Searock is a dream villa, just by its location. Indeed it is on rocks directly at the edge of the sea (breathtaking views) and in the background there is a direct view of the famous White mountains.
Viewpoint architecture, the villa is very modern and the exterior and interior equipment leaves nothing to be desired. (Large living room, 5 bedrooms + individual bathrooms, infiniti pool, etc.)
