The open-plan design of these interiors is ideal for a social group, ensuring you can kick back on the sofa while someone else prepares the food or pours you a drink and keep the conversation flowing the whole time!
Each of these three sumptuous bedrooms invites you to relax completely. A satisfying blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, all three rooms are as elegant and timelessly beautiful as they are contemporary! Fabulous four posters in two, and a huge bed with an ornate headboard in the other ensure you’ll sleep well every night. And as you get cosy in bed and enjoy a morning coffee, gaze out over the deep blue Ionian Sea in the distance and savour your time in paradise. A gorgeous bathroom accompanies each room with elegant floral designs and fantastic rain-showers to ensure you’re fully pampered and content throughout your stay.
And finally, come and experience for yourself the wonder of your sublime garden! This feature pool is an idyllic spot for unwinding, relaxing and enjoying mesmerising views over the Ionian Sea. About the surrounding area of Villa SpiaggiaOffering some of the most spectacular natural landscapes of any of the Greek islands, Lefkada is widely called ‘The Carribean of Greece’, and the moment you cross the causeway you’ll see why!
Stretching 35km north to south, and 15km east to west, you can truly enjoy the whole island during your stay. Whether that’s the tranquillity and unspoilt expanses of the West Coast, or the more traditional east coast, with its lively resorts and exquisite beaches. And all around you as you gaze out to sea you can enjoy the stunning views of dramatic islands of vibrant foliage erupting out of the sea in the foreground, and the vast islands of the Ionian Sea and the striking Greek mainland in the distance!
One of only two Greek islands you can drive straight onto, Lefkada is delightfully easy to reach! Under half an hour’s drive from Preveza airport, the island is wonderfully well-connected to mainland Greece, making it the perfect spot for those who like to avoid fuss!
For a unique day trip, venture into the lofty interior of the island. More dense vegetation creates an otherworldly feel, and traditional, scenic villages dot the beautiful landscape. A real sense of history pervades the region, in particular around Karya roughly 20 minutes from the villa, right in the centre of the island!
Lefkada is one of the least touristic of the many stunning Greek islands, you can enjoy a true taste of local life. While you’re here, though, you might like to venture to the nearby islands. With up to seven daily ferry services to Meganissi, and several connections to Fiskardo on Kefalonia and Frikes on Ithaki in the summer months, Lefkada is a perfect launchpad to explore the rest of the Ionian islands. You can also sail easily and with pleasure through the surrounding islands, including over to Ithaki and Kefalonia, for something a little different!
Like so many of the exquisite Greek islands, you can be sure of a huge welcome on Lefkada. A warm, passionate people and such a beautifully sociable country, both young and old will welcome you with open arms. Whether in pavement cafes, quaint tavernas or the thriving streets of Lekfada town, the people love nothing more than to enjoy a coffee or an ouzo in the company of the local community.

Getting There
How to reach Lefkada island
You can easily reach Lefkas by car from mainland Greece, via the bridge connecting Lefkada with Aitoloakarnania. Lefkada island does not have an airport.

Best Suited For: All AgesKids of any age will adore their time in Villa Spiaggia 4. With this incredible pool terrace, it’s hard to imagine the children not splashing around in the sunshine, playing and having fun with themselves, each other and you!
And you’re absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring the locality! Your nearest beach is the stunning Pefkoulia beach, on the north western coast, it is just an 8 minute drive away and is mesmerizingly beautiful. And that’s only the start! Head in any direction with the youngsters and they’re assured perfect shallow waters, turquoise sea, golden sands and plenty of amenities if you’re after supplies, too!
And the beaches are every bit as enjoyable for you, too. For beyond the bright blue waters are some of the most pristine and spectacular natural landscapes on earth.
Lefkada is an ideal destination for a family holiday whatever the age! For the youngsters there are tons of great fun beaches with shallow waters, and the older kids will love the many water sports on offer! On its stunning east coast you’ll find a handful of small, incredibly picturesque resorts including Nydri, the largest and most spectacular, as well as Lygia, Nikiana and Perigiali. Nydri, just over half an hour from the villa, sees a 2km strip of elegant hotels, stylish restaurants and bars and several local shops set back from the magnificent beach!
Continue travelling south from Nydri and you’ll reach Vasiliki, around 45 minutes from the villa. Known for its windsurfing centre, it draws a youthful, athletic crowd for the watersports and has abundant restaurants and bars as well as a spectacular sandy beach!
And on the islands stunning west coast, highlights include Porto Katsiki beach, Kathisma beach and Agios Nikitas. Just a 17 minute drive away, Kathisma beach offers an array of tavernas and hotels for your enjoyment, as well as a hi-tech bar and plenty of sun beds and umbrellas to keep you comfortable!
Porto Katsiki, meanwhile, around an hour to the south along a beautiful scenic road to the very south-western tip of the island is where huge dramatic cliffs tower around you as you paddle and dip and feel the silky soft sand beneath your feet.
And there’s tons more land-based opportunities if the sea and beaches aren’t so much for you and the kids. Centres across the island offer mountain-biking, horse riding and even paragliding, providing plenty of inspiration for you to get out on a lovely day trip with the kids. And if it’s hiking you’re into – don’t miss the Melissas Gorge or the Dimosari Canyon for a range of waterfalls, caves, swimming spots and exquisite nature! Easy routes for the little ones make for a great family trip! Just be sure to take a picnic with you so you can take a seat, get a bite to eat and admire the incredible views of the vibrant, unspoilt landscape of Lefkada!
