Villa Beryl is a sugar-cubed dazzling white wonder with three bedrooms and beautiful entertainment spaces. This delightful villa is located between Ornos and St. John on the westerly peninsula of Mykonos. Just 3.5 km from Mykonos Town and with beautiful views of the town’s windmills, Villa Beryl offers the best of both worlds, a tranquil haven but within very easy distance of the party capital and party beaches.
Ornos’ sand and pebble beach offers a few charming tavernas and bars together with a small stone harbour. Daily boat and yacht services travel from Ornos to explore the island’s stunning coastline and the neighbouring island of Delos. There are also fishing trips on offer. Just along the south coast are the sensational beaches of Psarou, Paraga, Paradise and Super Paradise. Just north of Ornos Beach is Paralia Korfos.
Villa Beryl is ideal for a family or a group of friends. With minimalist decor, the villa radiates elegance and calm. The architecture is typical Mykonian with lots of curved edges, painted beamed ceilings and dazzling white walls. The furnishings are superbly comfortable and very stylish. All of the furniture and soft furnishings are neutral in colour scheme. The living space is open plan in design and enjoys a feature fireplace. Soft white floaty curtains decorate the windows and doors. Doors open from the dining area to the gorgeous terrace. The modern kitchen will please the chef in your group.
The three bedrooms are all on the first floor. There are two excellent stylish masters, both with immaculate en-suite bathrooms and balcony or terrace access. The last bedroom is a spacious twin. The natural hues are either greys or beige and cream tones.
Outside, the terrace is very smart with a fabulous swimming pool which is surrounded by sumptuous trendy lounge chairs. A beautiful covered stone alfresco dining area sits next to the pool where you can enjoy pre-dinner drinks, barbecues and family games. It is a beautiful spot that looks even more lovely with the night time ambient lighting.

Mykonos is a gorgeous island with 25 spectacular beaches, much photographed sunsets, picturesque whitewashed villages and fabulous monasteries, churches and chapels. The famous beaches of Paradise and Paraga have established Mykonos as a trendy, cosmopolitan party destination. Paraga Beach boasts gorgeous silvery sand, a natural diving platform formed of rocks, sun beds and parasols and trendy beach bars. The award-winning Paradise Beach Club has been around for 50 years and offers a buzzy party scene. It attracts famous DJ’s from all over the world.
Ano Mera is a delightful shopping, dining and cultural destination. It boasts many quaint shops and cafes spilling out onto the cobbled pavements and many ancient, fascinating buildings. It is especially popular for Sunday brunch and the fresh produce market where you can buy local cheeses. Delicious Greek pastries can be bought in the bakery. The beautiful Byzantine Panagia Tourlaina Monastery was orginally founded in 1580 and is fronted by an ornate bell tower with triple bells. Its massive alter screen was made in 1775 by Florentine artists and the carved marble and wood, frescoes, crystal chandeliers and gilded pulpit are all extremely impressive. The monastery is open by appointment.
The Vioma Organic Farm and Vineyard is very interesting to visit where you can take a tour along to the sounds of classical music. The vineyard produces red, white and naturally sweet red wine. There are also 20 beehives producing pure honey, organic seasonal vegetables grown, bread baked in the traditional wood oven and dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits and the donkey called Marika are all part of the farm’s family. You can taste the wines and many other traditional products such as xynotiro, a hard sour cheese, tyrovolia, a fresh sour cheese, kopanisti, a spicy cheese and louza, a ham similar to proscuitto. For desert, you can taste the Mykonian amygdaloto, a sweet made of almonds and rose water.
Mykonos Town is an enchanting warren of narrow lanes covered in bougainvillea. Lined with picturesque churches, quirky art galleries, chic boutiques, jewellery shops and charming restaurants, visitors love an afternoon meander. The town’s museums, the Archaeological Museum and the Aegean Martime Museum, are interesting.

Best Suited For: All AgesChildren love Villa Beryl and its swimming pool. Ornos is a great area for families. You can take boat trips from the harbour or from Mykonos Town. One very popular trip is to the UNESCO protected and sacred Delos Island, the birth place Apollo and Artemis. Delos was a major religious centre and port during the 1st millennium BC. It boasts an amphitheatre, Doric temples, an amazing mosaic floor and the iconic terrace of marble lions. No one was allowed to die on Delos as it was deemed one of the most sacred lands so the nearby Rineia Island became a large necropolis.
Paradise and Paraga Beaches are amazing for families. They are highly organised with sunbeds, parasols, bars, restaurants and many watersports on offer such as waterskiing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, windsurfing and kitesurfing are available. There are dive schools on some of the 25 Mykonos beaches including Mykonos Diving Centre, GoDive Mykonos and W-Diving where you can take various courses. Kite Mykonos and Windsurfing Mykonos are also very popular for visitors wanting to surf. Windsurfing Mykonos operates from Kalafatis Bay. Fitela Beach is on the north coast and is popular with experienced surfers for its stonger winds and bigger waves. Some of the favourite family friendly beaches are Platys Gialos, Elia, Ornos, Kalafatis and Paradise.
Mykonos Town has its pretty windmills and the open air cinema to attract children. The warren of narrow streets is like a maze and an excellent variety of food on offer. Mykonos Town is very welcoming to families. You will see children up pretty late into the evening. The Folklore Museum shows you how people used to live, work and dress in the 19th century in Mykonos. The Archaeological Museum has a fascinating collection of jewellery, figurines, statues and pottery and the Aegean Martime Museum is home to many ancient nautical instruments and vessels. There are many shops for souvenirs as well as designer goods. Mykonos is also popular for hiking, cycling and its tennis club is excellent
