Crafted from classic white-washed Cycladic stone, Villa Cole sits on the edge of a rocky shore, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the sea. Spread across 600 square meters and three levels, the villa boasts extensive outdoor spaces including an infinity pool and Jacuzzi. Guests benefit from private parking, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and safety boxes in each bedroom. The interiors blend Cycladic charm with contemporary commissioned furnishings, traditional artefacts, modern art, and handmade rugs, all meticulously curated in a palette of crisp whites and soft ochres.
The upper level welcomes guests with a spacious open-plan layout featuring a sea-view sitting room, a dining area with a twelve-seater table, and a fully equipped all-white kitchen. The first bedroom on this level offers a queen-size bed, en suite bathroom, private balcony, and sea views. Descend to the pool level to find four additional double bedrooms with king or queen-size beds, each with its own bathroom and sea-view balcony. What you should know…
- All of the beds in the six bedrooms are all Queen or King size, there are no twin rooms, great for six couples or a group of friends sharing.
- The villa has sea views, and is within the immediate vicinity of the seafront, but the nearest organised sandy beach with sun loungers and shady parasols is a couple of kilometres drive
- We recommend car hire to make the most of your holiday and see all the sights you wish to see, although by no means essential as there is a very reliable local taxi and public transport system

About the surrounding area of Villa ColeVilla Cole is situated on the southwest coast of Mykonos, within the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. Mykonos, known for its exclusivity, spans just ten by fifteen kilometres, ensuring that all destinations are easily accessible by a short drive. The villa is conveniently located four kilometres from Mykonos airport, accommodating both local and international flights, with nearby airports in Naxos and Syros for island hopping.
Perched on a rocky promontory in Agios Lazaros, Villa Cole overlooks the Gulf of Ornos, Delos, and Renia islands. Nearby, the village of Ornos features traditional tavernas, a harbour facilitating boat trips to local beaches and Delos, and two beaches. The villa is also close to Psarou village, offering a sandy beach and local shops, as well as Korfos for kitesurfing and the lively Buddha Beach Bar.
Southward lies Elia and Agrari beaches, known for water sports, children's activities, and serene waters compared to northern beaches. Mykonos boasts numerous sandy beaches, catering to various preferences, from Elia's nudist-friendly shore to family-oriented Psarou Beach and the vibrant Paradise Beach renowned for its clubs and DJ scene.
Exploring the island reveals Mykonos Town (Chora), a short four-kilometre drive from Villa Cole, where visitors can explore Cycladic architecture, luxury boutiques, and waterfront dining. Best Suited For: All AgesYour kids will just love a holiday on the island of Mykonos, and there’s a surprising number of fun and family activities to keep them amused. Starting with Villa Cole’s private infinity swimming pool, and as there are no set hours they can play and splash all day. Nearby is Psarou beach, and just along the coast, Agrari beach offers water sports for your older children, and a playground for the younger ones, as well as a café and bar.
The coastline of Mykonos is dotted with family-friendly beaches, many of which you can book ahead, the villa is on the south coast, which has much calmer seas, and is safer for children. We can recommend Agios Ioannis beach with an infrastructure with pre-bookable sun loungers and parasols, cafes, and calm seas, Kalo Livadi in the southeast has views over the Cyclades archipelago and the island of Naxos, and Panormos Beach offers a great restaurant with giant bean bags. Your younger children may enjoy a visit to the Animal Organic Farm, where they can pet and feed the livestock, harvest seasonal crops, enjoy some time in nature, and keep themselves busy with some traditional farming tasks. Whilst your older kids could take a guided hike over the island’s landscape, exploring the local flora and fauna, and ending with a cooling dip in the sea. All of the family will love a day at sea, whether it’s island hopping aboard a shared Catamaran, or chartering a yacht and discovering secret coves and hidden bays and beaches, and swimming and snorkelling spotting friendly fish. Keep the creatives happy with a mosaic workshop, or a family cooking lesson with a local chef teaching you all to make traditional Greek meze.
A trip to Mykonos town is a must, wander the winding streets, shop for souvenirs, meet Petros the Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos, and then enjoy a family-friendly meal in a seaside taverna. For your intellectually curious offspring, there’s the Archaeological Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Folk Museum, and Lena’s House, all within walking distance of the old town. A short walk along the seafront will take you to Little Venice, a pirate’s paradise of a maze of streets with colourful houses overhanging the sea.
For those who prefer a more natural form of transport, they can mount a pony and go horseback riding in Ano Mera. If you want to venture further afield, a trip to the adjacent island of uninhabited Delos is a delight, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the birthplace of Zeus and Leto, Apollo and Artemis, cross the water by private charter or a shared tour for a fabulous family day out.
