Villa Edens enjoys a mesmerising setting in the resort town of Loutraki. Loutraki is vibrant and lively with the largest casino in Europe and an excellent array of bars and restaurants.  The thermal springs of Loutraki are superb for the rejuvenation of body and spirit.

Holidays in the Peloponnese offer gorgeous sandy beach days, natural countryside to explore and tales of ancient Greece. You will discover sprawling olive groves, lush forests, pretty pink flowers of the native almond trees and ancient monuments. Thanks to the temples and palaces sprinkled over the region, it is known as the mythical heart of Greece. If you get chance to get to Olympia, you can see the region which hosted the first ever Olympic Games.

Ancient Corinth enjoys a fascinating history. By the time the Apostle Paul visited in 54AD, Corinth had eclipsed Athens. One of the most interesting spots is the ‘Bema’ or ‘Judgment Seat’ where Paul stood when he was brought before Gallio. A drive to the top of the Acrocorith offers unforgettable views of Achaia, the Gulf of Corinth and the Saronic Gulf. Corinth city was the second naval force of the ancient world and the birthplace of Lyssipos, one of the greatest Greek sculptors, sculptor of Alexander the Great. It is considered as a privileged resort with cosmospolitan lifestyle. You can taste the delicious Agiorgitiko wines from the vineyards of Nemean land and enjoy superb Greek cuisine. The northern coasts of Corinthia are made up of pasture lands and farmlands abundant in olives, grapes, tomatoes and vegetables. The tallest of Corinthia’s mountains is Killini and the largest lake is Lake Stymphalia. Corinthia is also known for the two ancient Panhellenic games, Nemea and Isthmia. Ancient Corinth is one of the most visited sites in the region. At the foot of the huge rock of Acrocorith, you will discover an abundance of ancient sites and ruins from the past glory of the city. Highlights include the Temple of Apollo, the site of the Agora and the foundations of the huge Stoa and ancient theatres.

The whole area is a nature lover’s paradise with many lakes, springs, rolling hills and uninhabited islands. You can explore the mountains and remote villages including Nemea, Goura, Sofiko and Feneos. Killini is a modest ski resort with some winter sports. The mountain is the second highest in the Peloponnese after Taygetus. There are more than 100 plant types endemic to the region of the 1000 found and numerous hiking paths. The two gulfs, Gulf of Corinth and Saronic Gulf are ideal for swimming. Doxa Lake and Stymphalia Lake are beautiful, surrounded by pine forests. Perachora is perhaps the best Corinthian area for diving as well as swimming. The beaches of Sterna, Scalosia and Stravas and the Heraion Lagoon are stunning. Heraion of Perchora boasts one of the largest lighthouses of Corinth. The views of the south coast of Corinth with the impressive mountains is absolutely magnificent.

Pissia is 15km from Loutraki and 4km from Perchora on the lush pine slope of the Gerania Mountains. Its deep ravine brimming with plane trees and water gives the village a special beauty. There are many churches including Saint George which is built in a natural cave. The Church of Agios Athanasios dates back to the 15th century.

Lake Vouliagmenis or The Blue Lake is a UNESCO listed place of exceptional natural beauty. This small brilliant blue lagoon is 16 km from Loutraki and close to the archaeological site of Heraion. It is 2km long and 1km wide with a sandy beach and a narrow channel. The salty water is very warm and allows swimming until late in the autumn.

Schinos is a beautiful, picturesque seaside village at the foot of the Gerania, thirty to forty minutes from Loutraki. There are many hiking trails and climbing options in the Gerakina Gorge. The beach enjoys popular beach bars with lots of music from famous DJ’s in the summer months.

Agioi Theadori is another pretty seaside town on the coast of the Saronic Gulf with hiking, cycling, fishing and culture.
