Villa Rhodes Town is a dazzling, effervescent home, set in such pristine surroundings that visitors will simply not want to leave! Sleek and modern architecture with a glistening white facade and terracotta tiles is offset by elegant dining veranda and sparkling pool.
This vibrant home is executed impeccably by stylish outdoor living; the pool area offers sedate loungers and elegant parasols, whilst the verdant lawns provide the luscious shade of fragrant fruit trees. With both mountain and sea views, and just a short drive into downtown Rhodes Town, this home is ideally located.

Impeccably maintained, there are ample spots to enjoy the outdoors, whether it be relaxing with a good book; a pool side cocktail; games on the lawns, or morning coffee on the balcony whilst admiring the views.
Dining is an elegant affair at Villa Rhodes Town - whilst indoor and outdoor living blend seamlessly via floor to ceiling glass windows from a sumptuous lounge and living space to the dappled terrace with blossom plants leaving their scent in the air. The interiors are fresh, airy and neutral offering serene, distinguished decor, sleek marble floors, earthy tones amid glossy blacks and decadent ceiling height with designer lighting and mezzanine level.
Villa Rhodes Town is an excellent option for entertaining guests: ethnic wall art and rugs fuse with slick, post modern interiors, separate lounge spaces for a quasi Arabic feel; hints of luxe - gold and opulent touches whilst offering accessible luxury.
All the modern touches are in place: satellite television, DVD player (as well as 3D glasses!), and pool table to ensure all of guests entertainment needs are met, whilst chic accents of teal and cobalt blue contrast with the dazzling whites and golds. The sub divisions in areas mean a group can break up into small groups, to enjoy a drink at the sleek bar, or curl up on the sofa for a movie.
There is a separate self-catered private wing with both a double and single bed and self-contained facilities on the ground floor: ideal for two families travelling together or a family with grandparents or au pair, for additional privacy.
In addition there are three double bedrooms on the first floor each with its own private balcony and garden views, as well as an indulgent mezzanine lounge and abundant relaxation space. Location
About the surrounding area of Villa Rhodes TownVilla Rhodes Town is nestled on the outskirts of Rhodes Town, offering proximity to the coast, the city and only a short distance to the airport. Rhodes Town is a city of intriguing contrasts; the Old Town and the New Town. The former offers pretty cobbled lanes, medieval architecture, ruins and relics at every turn as well as quiet, traditional tavernas. The latter offers upscale shopping, buzzing nightlife and glitzy, cosmopolitan bars and water front.
Whether it be water sports, visiting the islands, or exploring, this region has it all. There are Medieval castle ruins, Byzantine churches and a folklore museum at the lovely Asklipion. Gennadi is a bright myriad of whitewashed houses and narrow alleyways.
The local market in Lindos offers fresh vegetables and fish; idea for picking up some tasty local delicacies or freshly caught fish for the barbecue.
The Acropolis, which Lindos is famous for, is one of Rhodes’ must-see sights. Whether it be walking to the top, or going by donkey in the traditional way, it is a wonderful ascent ending in the ancient fortress, thirteenth century Greek Orthodox church and Roman temple.
Kiotari has a sprinkling of supermarkets where you can stock up on local honey, olive oil and wine, whereas Lindos where offers interesting winding streets with everything from jewellery to pottery.
Rhodes offers something for everyone: forest dense mountains, long and sandy beaches, almost year round sunshine and one of Europe’s finest medieval towns; the walled Old Town of Rhodes has Unesco World Heritage Status with its sandstone architecture with minarets and cobbled streets.

The Island/Getting There
Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands of Greece. It’s got a lot of history as it’s been invaded a lot by the Persians, Carians, Ottomans, Italians, and Germans.
Average temperatures go from 20’c in April up to 30’c in July/ August and down to 20’c in November. With an average of 85 rainy days a year they get sunshine for around 280 days.
The island is 90km long with Rhodes town at the northern tip. The airport (Rhodes International Airport "Diagoras") is also in the North (15km from Rhodes Town). Charter flights and Easyjet operate direct from the UK all season and out of season (Nov-March) you’d need to fly via Athens.
The Acropolis – The Acropolis that sits high above the town of Lindos is absolutely amazing and is a must see if you’re looking for some of the best views in all of Rhodes. One thing I should mention is that the climb up to the acropolis requires you to be somewhat active and able to climb stairs, lots of them. The trail begins through town and slowly but surely starts to get steeper as you climb the hill towards the acropolis. Once there, you’re rewarded with historical buildings dating back to 300 BC. Our Villa Corteau sit just underneath the ruins.
Rhodes has over 40 beaches, here are a few:
- Anthony Quinn’s Bay – Anthony Quinn’s bay is one of the most beautiful bays. The bay is located 17km (10 mi) south of Old Town Rhodes and offers some incredible photo opportunities to say the least.
- The beach at Anthony Quinn’s bay is one of the best beaches in Rhodes. Get there early if you want to snag a sunbed and umbrella and enjoy wading around the bright blue and green water. Amazing!
- For the best views of Anthony Quinn’s Bay from above, head on up to the windy road that leads up the hill just north of the bay and you’ll find a spot where you can sit and enjoy the virtually 180 degree views of Rhodes and its coastline.
- Tsambika Beach (or Tsampika) – Tsampika beach is located 30km (18 mi) south of Old Town Rhodes and is a great place to spend the day in the sun. Note: Beware there is a small section where nudists congregate on Tsampika beach
- Lakido Beach – Just opposite Anthony Quinn’s Bay is Lakido beach. It’s literally 3 minutes walking distance from Anthony Quinn’s bay so visiting both beaches in a day is totally doable. As a matter of fact, I would highly recommend visiting both if you get the chance
- Faliraki Beach – One of the most popular tourist spots on the island of Rhodes. It was known for 18-30’s holiday in the 90-2000’s but I don’t think there is that market so much now. It is quite commercialised now there are water sports and a few diving schools.
How to reach Rhodes island
There are two ways to reach Rhodes Island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: If you don’t want to lose time you can fly to Rhodes (RHO) from Athens. The flight lasts 1 hour. Many direct flights also operate from many European countries, so it will not be difficult to arrive there.
By ferry: If you choose to travel from Piraeus to Rhodes with a ferry, it will surely take you much longer but travelling with a ferry in the summer nights can be pretty enticing! The port of Rhodes is located in the southern part of the island and offers bus services to the town centre. You can easily book your ferry tickets using the link below or the booking engine.

Best Suited For: All AgesChildren of all ages will be well looked after at Villa Rhodes Town. This sumptuous home offers abundant space, generous proportions and ample entertainment options to keep youngsters occupied. The lateral and airy lay out and naturally sub divided open plan living is ideal for families; whether it be preparing a toddler meal at the breakfast bar, enjoying a 3D movie with the teens, or curling up on the sofa after a busy day at the beach, this home is a comfortable haven.
Hours of splashy fun can be had in the pool, whilst the lawns are just beckoning for games and frolicking. The novelty of am al fresco meal will never wear thin, whilst each bedroom has its own charming accents - from the blue nautical room to the floral room: little ones are guaranteed a restful nights sleep in air conditioned, serene tranquillity.
Rhodes’s east coast is an exceptionally family-friendly destination, with thirty miles of well-maintained golden-sand beaches with warm, shallow water, some of Europe’s biggest water parks - this is the place to perfect water sports skills!
For keen young historians this region is rich with historical monuments, medieval preserved ruins, museums and frescoed churches as well as car-free alley ways and vibrant local market life.
