Every detail of these interiors has been maximised for your enjoyment, from the huge living area with a big L-shape sofa in front of the TV, to the enormous, thoroughly contemporary kitchen which expands alongside it! With countless access points into your magnificent garden, the villa has a beautiful sense of flowing indoors and out, filling the interiors with tons of fresh air and natural goodness! The second lounge area similarly offers a similar set up in front of a TV, but also with views out across your balcony and all the way to the sea, inviting the outside in! On the lower-ground floor, meanwhile, the self-contained apartment space, with its very own gym area, provides a fabulous sense of privacy and openness, thanks to its retracting wall into the garden! When it’s time to dine, this superb set of six chairs around the table, set before the fully glass wall looking out to the sea, provides a beautiful spot for tucking into fresh meals. And with the option to enjoy a private chef preparing your meals, you can be sure of fine dining!
There are four sublime bedrooms, each with the same soothing tones blown in from the natural world beyond, including soft, earthy browns and energizing sky-blues. Each boasts its own unique, enchanting features: from sea-views to private terrace access, to exquisite ensuite bathrooms! The bathrooms themselves, three between the four bedrooms, are magnificent. Enormously spacious to create the spa effect, with a range of walk-in showers, large bathtubs and striking designs to make you feel truly pampered!
This delightful garden invites you to revel in the sunshine, the warm climate and the fresh air in total comfort. The centrepiece is of course this fabulous private pool. With it partly in shade and partly sunshine, you can please the whole group with a choice of temperature! And you can make a whole day of relaxing, dining, drinking and chatting alongside the pool as you dip in and out to cool off, unwind and connect with the beautiful natural world that envelops you! Green, leafy hills rise in the distance, providing the perfect backdrop to your morning coffee, or afternoon tipple! And of course, from these many fantastic balconies you can even see the twinkling sea in the distance!
Nestled up the hill, with Ixia Beach just 500 yards away, there’s really nowhere better to be to enjoy your holiday in the sunshine! Rich in history yet bursting with life, Rhodes Town, the town-of-two-halves, has a little something for everyone! A medieval time capsule on the one hand, and a vibrant, modern town on the other - it’s a unique and wonderful experience to wander the streets, get to know the quirky vendors and quaint cafes, and admire the stunning architecture! The high walls and deep moat that surround the Old Town add to its incredible charm, not to mention the twisting and turning maze of streets within! And throughout these gorgeous streets are countless relics of the Classical, Ottoman and Italian eras. You must visit the impressive Palace of the Grand Master, lovingly preserved and maintained, as well as the Archaeological Museum in the Great Hospital of the Knights, another stunning Gothic building.
Another fantastic site worth visiting is the stunning Lindos Acropolis, a short drive south. Simply magnificent ancient citadel ruins up on the hilltop, overlooking the beautiful beaches below, you can’t miss this incredible site during your stay on Rhodes! And once you’ve made the trip - why not pop over to the stunning Lindos beaches?
Like so much of Greece, Rhodes is well-known for its warmth and hospitality, with a long-established history of tourism! Vast skies, sparkling sandy and pebbled beaches and huge stretches of brilliant blue seas define this country and its many islands, where the thriving nature complements elegant architecture throughout.
The food of Greece is famous for its rich flavours and delicate recipes of Mediterranean delights. Feta and olive oil are universal, while all kinds of fresh fish, fragrant herbs, in-season fruits and crunchy greens await your enjoyment. Be sure to tuck into some of the classic Greek cuisine while you’re here, including the local specialities! As well as grape based drinks, the local beer Mythos is a popular tipple across the island.

The Island/Getting There
Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands of Greece. It’s got a lot of history as it’s been invaded a lot by the Persians, Carians, Ottomans, Italians, and Germans.
Average temperatures go from 20’c in April up to 30’c in July/ August and down to 20’c in November. With an average of 85 rainy days a year they get sunshine for around 280 days.
The island is 90km long with Rhodes town at the northern tip. The airport (Rhodes International Airport "Diagoras") is also in the North (15km from Rhodes Town). Charter flights and Easyjet operate direct from the UK all season and out of season (Nov-March) you’d need to fly via Athens.
The Acropolis – The Acropolis that sits high above the town of Lindos is absolutely amazing and is a must see if you’re looking for some of the best views in all of Rhodes. One thing I should mention is that the climb up to the acropolis requires you to be somewhat active and able to climb stairs, lots of them. The trail begins through town and slowly but surely starts to get steeper as you climb the hill towards the acropolis. Once there, you’re rewarded with historical buildings dating back to 300 BC. Our Villa Corteau sit just underneath the ruins.
Rhodes has over 40 beaches, here are a few:
- Anthony Quinn’s Bay – Anthony Quinn’s bay is one of the most beautiful bays. The bay is located 17km (10 mi) south of Old Town Rhodes and offers some incredible photo opportunities to say the least.
- The beach at Anthony Quinn’s bay is one of the best beaches in Rhodes. Get there early if you want to snag a sunbed and umbrella and enjoy wading around the bright blue and green water. Amazing!
- For the best views of Anthony Quinn’s Bay from above, head on up to the windy road that leads up the hill just north of the bay and you’ll find a spot where you can sit and enjoy the virtually 180 degree views of Rhodes and its coastline.
- Tsambika Beach (or Tsampika) – Tsampika beach is located 30km (18 mi) south of Old Town Rhodes and is a great place to spend the day in the sun. Note: Beware there is a small section where nudists congregate on Tsampika beach
- Lakido Beach – Just opposite Anthony Quinn’s Bay is Lakido beach. It’s literally 3 minutes walking distance from Anthony Quinn’s bay so visiting both beaches in a day is totally doable. As a matter of fact, I would highly recommend visiting both if you get the chance
- Faliraki Beach – One of the most popular tourist spots on the island of Rhodes. It was known for 18-30’s holiday in the 90-2000’s but I don’t think there is that market so much now. It is quite commercialised now there are water sports and a few diving schools.
How to reach Rhodes island
There are two ways to reach Rhodes Island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: If you don’t want to lose time you can fly to Rhodes (RHO) from Athens. The flight lasts 1 hour. Many direct flights also operate from many European countries, so it will not be difficult to arrive there.
By ferry: If you choose to travel from Piraeus to Rhodes with a ferry, it will surely take you much longer but travelling with a ferry in the summer nights can be pretty enticing! The port of Rhodes is located in the southern part of the island and offers bus services to the town centre. You can easily book your ferry tickets using the link below or the booking engine.

Of course, that’s not to mention this utterly sublime garden! With a huge private pool extending out from below the house, there’s tonnes of space for the whole family to splash and play to their heart’s content. And with this fantastic shade over half of the pool, you can be sure the kids are having fun and enjoying the fresh air without worrying about too much exposure to the sun!
And on top of all that - a children’s high chair and a cot are available, so if you’re travelling with real youngsters, you know they’ll be looked after. We’ve planned all the details, so you can focus on the good times!
When you take a trip to Rhodes, one thing you’ll never have to worry about is how to keep the kids entertained. The island is perfect for youngsters! Toddlers and teenagers alike will find a whole world of fun catering just for them, from water sports galore to some of the world’s best beaches, and brilliant hikes if that’s more your thing!
The Faliraki water park is the largest in Greece and an absolute haven for kids and adults alike! Speed slides and black holes with terrifying free fall drops sit alongside relaxing rapids, sun loungers and tons of food options so whatever your disposition you can enjoy a day at the water park with the whole family!
For kids that love nature, why not head over to the Valley of the Butterflies, around just half an hour away, which alongside showcasing tons of coloured species of all kinds, is a fabulously tranquil and beautiful protected area.

Amazing Villa and host
Eva met us at the Villa and explained how everything worked. The villa is beautiful, it has both very good indoor and outdoor space. Their was 4 of us but would easily fit 2 families in with more than ample space. It has everything that you would need like a home from home. We had another family over for a bbq one night and the space has been so well thought out it was a pleasure to entertain.
Nothing could of been better it exceeded my expectations on every level. -
Eva is a very sweet, efficient and serviceminded host
We were a family with 6 adults and 2 children and we enjoyed the facilities of the house - especially the area around the pool. We had a private chef to cook for us 2 times. Very delicious food.
