This home is ideal for a relaxing holiday for a family or small group of friends. The open plan living spaces are bright, modern and comfortable and flow out into the garden where you are sure to spend a lot of time. The sea views from the terrace are incredible and can also be enjoyed from the infinity pool, which is a great feature.
When retiring to the house for the evening, there is a large kitchen and living area with flat-screen TV which is ideal for spending time together eating before retreating to the spacious double bedrooms.

Great historic attractions, shops and restaurants can be found in these towns. In addition, the island has many sites of natural beauty to visit including beaches and natural spas; the best-loved natural spa is just outside of Forio, here open-air hot springs can be bathed in while overlooking the sea.
Many holidaymakers visiting Ischia like to take a boat trip to the mainland or to the stunning island of Capri. From Forio or Ischia Porto, it is possible to take a ferry to these locations which takes around an hour. The city of Naples is a fantastic place for a day trip, to make the most of your day there you could book a guided walking tour.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa BasilioThe island of Ischia is a brilliant holiday location and offers many unique attractions. The villa is perfectly placed for lazing on the local beaches, just minutes away, or exploring many villages and towns nearby. If you are looking to eat out locally or pick up some groceries, then you are able to wander down to the nearby amenities with ease. There is also a thermal spa and a pretty botanical garden with meditation areas, rare plants and tropical greenhouses.
The natural beauty of the volcanic island means that there are a wealth of natural attractions to visit within easy reach. Thermal spas are common on the island because of the volcanic activity; one natural spa is Sorgeto hot springs. These springs sit in a beautiful bay overlooking the sea and are much like natural hot tubs, open to the public the springs are a great place to visit and there is even a restaurant in the bay. If you would prefer a spa with high-end facilities and treatments on offer then you could visit the Poseiden thermal gardens. This spa also has children’s facilities and eateries in lovely surroundings.
Aside from natural beauty, the island has a wealth of historic and cultural sites on offer in the villages and towns. The closest town to the villa is called Forio and is just 2.5km away; Forio has many medieval and Baroque buildings including a fifteenth-century tower which is now used as a gallery and museum. Forio also has beautiful churches, monuments and a wide range of traditional seafood restaurants for you to enjoy. For a bigger town with much more to see and do, take a trip to the capital Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte. Ischia Porto is chic and cosmopolitan with high-end shops, while Ischia Ponte is the older of the sister towns and houses a vast castle!

Ischia, a picturesque island nestled in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the coast of Italy, is a captivating gem waiting to be explored. Known for its natural beauty, historical treasures, and therapeutic hot springs, this enchanting destination offers a unique blend of experiences for travellers seeking a harmonious mix of relaxation and adventure.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesIschia is a unique island, lying off the coastline of Naples in Italy. This lovely island is the ideal place for a holiday with children; though Italian and near enough to the mainland to spend leisure time there, the island is quieter and less crowded.
With an extensive and beautiful coastline, you are able to spend many days on the local beaches playing in the sand or splashing in the sea. Boat trips around the nearby coastline are lovely with children as many nip into magical caves which little ones love. If your children are older then they could try out snorkelling or take a diving class to make the most of the clear water.
If you make a visit to island Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte the island’s capital then be sure to stop Castello Aragonese. This vast castle is more like a fortified village and has plenty to look at. Children can explore the turrets and rooms in the castle and there are many gruesome medieval history facts to be learned!
Just outside of the capital there is a great adventure park to take children to; it has trekking routes, tree-top climbing trails and mountain biking tracks for all ages and abilities and is popular with families!

We could not fault this villa!
The views were spectacular, the quality of the villa was excellent, lovely and spacious, easy to find but felt very private. Walking distance to a nearby beach and some lovely local restaurants, also opposite the Botanical Gardens. Nothing we didn't like, we could not fault it.
Don't miss out! Reserve now and get a full refund if you change your mind within 48hrs.
