Overview
Villa Cardinale holds a wonderful location situated close to the village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi and just off the “green ribbon” route which runs from Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast. The 16th century farmstead is truly magical, built with volcanic rock and covered in vines, it possesses both charm and character and makes the perfect home for guests who wish to sample a slice of an authentic Italian paradise.
The ancient farmhouse has been lovingly looked after by its owners and offers wonderful entertaining spaces with elegant yet cosy interiors while the walls have been adorned with antique photos and artwork, creating a warm vibe that will make guests feel instantly at home.
The villa seamlessly blends its history with more recently added modern amenities such as WiFi and air conditioning, making it a sensible choice for families. The large kitchen has been beautifully decorated with hand painted tiles and antique copper pans, with its traditional wood stoves and modern Alpes Inox equipment comes complete with all the tools a budding chef could possibly need! Villa Cardinale can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests across four well-appointed bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms boast private bathroom facilities which allow guests to retain privacy from the rest of the group, making it perfect for two families or a group of couples holidaying together.
Villa Cardinale’s gardens are a true oasis, spend an afternoon enjoying a peaceful stroll through the lemon and olive groves, picking veg from the organic vegetable garden or simply lazing by the private pool with a good book. The children will enjoy playing in the playhouse and playing games in the magical gardens. At the end of a busy day spent exploring the beautiful Sorrento region, the whole group can make use of the pizza oven and gather on the terrace and enjoy a meal al fresco while watching the sun set.
