A mere 2km away from the nearest beach and close to the bustling town of Capo d'Orlando, Casa Ventaglio is a brilliant base for exploring northern Sicily. This sea-view home can be rented to sleep six or twelve guests, making it flexible to your party's needs.
Set over three floors and offering several terraces, the villa has plenty of space for your group. The ground floor has a modern, fully-fitted kitchen with all the necessary crockery and appliances. There is also a living room with a sofa bed, TV, bathroom, and laundry area.
You will find another living room on the lower ground floor. This floor is also home to three inviting bedrooms: two double rooms and a room with two single beds. The first floor is where you can find the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms.
Outdoors, the home boasts several terraces which make the most of the views of the sea. There is an inviting private pool, perfect for cooling off on a warm afternoon, a panoramic terrace with outdoor furniture and a shower.
For a wider range of amenities, head to the nearby seaside town of Capo d'Orlando which is 4km away and is a popular place to visit. This area's main draw is the incredible beaches; the closest is Capo d'Orlando beach which is 2km away. Many more beautiful beaches are dotted along this stretch of coastline, including the much-loved Spiaggia San Gregorio.

- For larger groups, Casa Rolanda, Casa Maria Eugenia and Casa Cannamela are within the same compound, and all four villas can be rented out together.

About the surrounding area of Casa VentaglioWhen holidaying at Casa Ventaglio, you will find yourself amidst the beautiful coastal landscape of northern Sicily. Here, you can experience sumptuous local cuisine, visit countless sun-drenched beaches, explore historic villages and dine in the bustling town of Capo d'Orlando.
The closest beach to the villa is a mere 2km away and is a free, natural beach called Spiaggia di Testa di Monaco, a lovely spot for sunbathing and paddling in the sea. The pretty marina is also easily reached at 2km away and is a fabulous spot for enjoying a seafood dinner with idyllic sea views. Here at the marina, you will find the closest amenities: a range of shops, cafés and restaurants lining the boat-filled harbour.
When looking for a wider array of amenities, Capo d'Orlando town centre is only 4km from Casa Ventaglio. The town has a rich history and was founded during the medieval Crusades, although it has a modern, lively feel. Once a small fishing village, Capo d'Orlando has grown over time and now offers visitors plenty of attractions and things to do. History lovers will enjoy seeing the unique octagonal lighthouse, the hilltop castle ruins and the 17th-century Sanctuary of Maria Santissima. The town is also known by fans of writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, who wrote The Gattopardo here while staying with his cousins, the Piccolo brothers, at the impressive Villa Piccolo, which can be visited. The grand villa, which sits in an elevated position overlooking the surrounding landscape, was the home of the Piccolos, who were painters, poets and photographers in the 19th century. The villa is now a museum and one of the area's most popular visitor attractions.
If you would like to get away from the busy towns and coast to see more of Sicily, you could always head inland to enjoy a day of hiking. Alternatively, you can book an organised horse trek, which usually lasts a full day and is a beautiful way to see the rugged interior landscape and historic ruins.
