Although you have the house entirely to yourself, the estate’s unique character ensures you can enjoy all the luxurious facilities on offer and pursue both adventure and culture.
Spread across three floors, the interior has a stylish and understated feel with elegant touches throughout. Guests can unwind in four bedrooms, three of which are suites and are designed with their private living room and en-suite marble bathroom for further privacy.

About the surrounding area of Villa RavaggioloIts tranquil position nestled in the countryside close to the city of Bologna makes Villa Ravaggiolo the ideal base for getting lost in nature, yet it’s convenient enough to soak up the culture of Emilia-Romagna’s nearby cities.
Start exploring the moment you open your front door; the estate is enveloped by a far-reaching park full of olive groves, sunny vineyards, orchards as well as towering woodlands. Luckily, bikes can be easily rented from the estate’s reception to make scouting the local terrain more convenient and fun. Pack a light lunch and set out on an adventure to discover the nearby artificial lakes and Hortus Conclusus garden full of aromatic fruit trees and water fountains before heading back for an al-fresco dinner in one of the on-site restaurants.
The closest village is only a 5-minute drive away and boasts family-run trattorias, cosy bars as well as a supermarket perfect for stocking up on essentials.
Another 5-minute drive away, the town of Castel San Pietro Terme is the shining crown of this well-known thermal region. The town carries the nickname ‘the famous Thermal’ and is ought to have one of the highest qualities of life in Italy. Here, you can visit an 18-hole golf course called Le Fonti Golf Club or relax in the thermal baths with waters springing from the Fegatella Spring. After a wholesome morning spent getting pampered, visit the Lungo Sillaro Park and bask in the sunshine as you soak up the peaceful atmosphere.
Just over 20 minutes’ drive away, the mediaeval village of Dozza belongs to one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and boasts an ancient Sforza fortress alongside artistic murals decorating the city.
Emilia-Romagna’s capital city Bologna is only a 30-minute drive away, making it fantastic for a day trip. Full of restaurants, boutiques and museums, the university city makes you forget the sense of time as you stroll through its cobbled streets and admire Renaissance architecture such as the Basilica di San Petronio and leaning towers Asinelli and Garisenda.
Romantic souls will love wandering around Florence and Venice, both approximately 2 hour’s drive away. The cities belong to the most popular places in Italy and notably Florence is believed to be the birthplace of Renaissance as well as an important fashion district.
