Overview
Palazzo San Daniele is a commanding feature of the naturally wild and beautiful shores of Lake Garda, in a privileged position surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Palazzo San Daniele was built towards the end of the 19th century by an aristocratic family. You can still see and feel this heritage in the restored and retained original architecture and carefully selected antique furniture.
The stunning location of the villa means that lake views are on offer both inside and out. As well as a large garden to enjoy, you also have your very own private beach and jetty. The sense of peace and relaxation here is second to none, with a lido as well as a lakeside park a little further down the shore.
The villa’s incredibly spacious accommodation is set over several levels, with luxurious rooms that boast an impressive array of modern features and facilities. The ground floor is where you’ll probably spend most of your time, with a huge living room that’s ideal for evenings spent with loved ones. There’s direct access to the main terrace with a dining table for atmospheric al fresco meals with lake views. There’s also a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with lake views, a grand dining room, library, relaxation area and a terrace.
Further fantastic spaces can be found on the lower ground floor. Leisure time is spent playing billiards, watching films in the private cinema with Blu-ray library, and enjoying drinks at the bar. After building up a sweat in the gym, relax in the swimming pool and make the most of the spa features that include a sauna and Turkish bath.
When nights draw to a close, you have a choice of nine restful bedrooms at Palazzo San Daniele. Four are located on the first floor, with each offering clear views of Lake Garda and two being ensuite. There’s also a lovely family bathroom. The remaining five bedrooms are on the second floor and all have a luxurious ensuite bathroom. With a mix of double and single beds available, this floor is ideal for children.
The villa is set within a large plot, with gardens and areas for dining. The main outdoor dining space with barbecue offers truly spectacular views over the lake for unforgettable evenings. Some of the best views can be soaked up from the infinity pool, as well as from the comfort of the adjacent sun loungers.
A private beach and jetty are on your doorstep, meaning chances to enjoy boat trips and lakeside bathing are just moments away. Within easy reach is a lido with bar and sun loungers and umbrellas for hire. Also just a short walk away is Parco Baia delle Sirene with its beautiful gardens, beach, playground and picnic area.
What you should know…
- The outdoor infinity pool can be heated for an additional charge
- Whilst there is a lift inside the property to access other floors, guests with mobility issues should bear in mind that there are stairs to access the garden and pool
