Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park and the Sibillini Mountains both offer expanses of wild terrain to explore. They are home to all sorts of flora and fauna, as well as varied and dramatic landscapes.

Fresh figs, straight from the tree, in the middle of a vineyard.
The villa is accessed via a 2 km long gravel road, at the end of which the property is located. It has space for six couples/6 double bedrooms). In the large ground floor room there were three sofas, numerous other seating options, a glass table with enough chairs for twelve people, the kitchen, for which you might want to bring your own knives but which was otherwise relatively well equipped, two refrigerators, two dishwashers and enough crockery and cutlery. The carom billiards table converted into a pool table was very popular. There was a whirlpool, which was particularly popular with the young people, but the sauna was not in the middle of summer. The outdoor grill was generously sized. The pool was occasionally checked for water quality, but it was not cleaned of insects and leaves. This was left to us, as was the disposal of the separated rubbish in the bins that were along the gravel road. The pool itself was used every day, before breakfast, and during the day the loungers there were in the blazing sun. The nearest supermarket is 4km away in Aquaviva Picena. There are also a few restaurants and the wine and olive merchants here. But you can't just drive there on the gravel road. On the beach in Grottamare, six loungers and three beach chairs were permanently reserved for us. At the associated restaurant, however, you had to reserve in advance.

Great stay in the vineyards
We had a wonderful family break. The villa is picturesquely located in the vineyards and the view is magnificent! With 6 bathrooms and a toilet near the pool, we never had a bathroom jam with 14 people. The kitchen is superbly equipped and invites you to cook. Massimo was a great cook, highly recommended. The loungers on the beach in Grottammare were also a great convenience. Overall, a great holiday all around! We would come back anytime.

A little piece of paradise
We had a great stay at Casa Dhanu. There were 14 of us and still there was plenty of room and loads of places both inside the villa and around the property to wander off to if you wanted to get away and be on your own. Carlo was very responsive with any questions. The wine and olive oil were a very nice touch and we definitely took advantage. Grazie Carlo! Massimo, the chef, was next level. Everything was so delicious and it allowed us to just relax and enjoy each other and the beautiful views off of the terrace. These were some of our best meals in Italy. The area is beautiful. It's real hidden gem with many places nearby to explore. Carlo is a great host!

Stunning property and amazing host!
Carlo’s villa is located in a beautiful scenic area with amazing views in every direction. Good for a big group with kids. The interior is an eclectic mix of old and new. We enjoyed the pool and pool table, and took advantage of the beach chairs at Grottammare - a lovely beach about a 20 minute drive away. Carlo is an amazing host; he was very responsive and happily arranged cooking lessons for us at the villa as well as a tasting at a winery nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!

Extraordinary!
We can not praise this villa enough. We were a family of 8 adults 2 children 2 babies and a dog and there was ample space for all. The villa had a most picturesque outlook and being situated at the end of a long lane, very quiet. It had everything we could want - lovely clean pool with am-ple sun beds, jacuzzi, gardens, plenty of terracing for outdoor dining and delicious wine and olive oil on tap!
The host Carlo was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He provided us with a wonderful cook who served us 2 exquisite meals in the villa.
