Le Marche, a hidden gem in the heart of Italy, is a region that encapsulates the essence of both tradition and natural beauty. With its charming villages, rich history, and diverse landscapes, Le Marche is a destination that beckons those seeking a quieter, more authentic Italian experience.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesTulipandia (a 2-minute drive) is a wonderfully pretty farm brimming with fields of tulips. Visitors can tour, collect tulips, and then enjoy a lovely picnic provided by the onsite café on the tables and blankets. The colourful carpet of flowers is truly a sight to see, and better yet, the farm is also home to some fun animals, including two alpacas.
In the nearby village of Ripatransone (a 15-minute drive), you can find the narrowest alley in Italy (only 45cm wide!) This is a fun adventure for the kids, and Ripatransone itself boasts a selection of bars and restaurants to enjoy after discovering the little street.
The Salinello Gorges (a 50-minute drive) are a natural marvel within driving distance. These deep gorges are located between the Twin Mountains and crafted by the River Salinello. The canyon boasts streams, waterfalls, lakes, springs, and incredible cave systems. There is even an ancient monastery to be found in these caves.
When all else fails, the nearby Kinder Park (a 20-minute drive) is an amusement park for kids on the Porto d’Ascoli coast. This seaside town is also home to the Fish Museum, the Museum of Ancient Weapons, and a 12th-century fortress.

Amazing place
Absolutely amazing place, located on the hill overlooking the town and sea. A very welcoming atmosphere and service made me feel at home. Great hosts and atmosphere. Swimming pool - just below the house, new and good for swimming and with a view of surrounding hills. Magic at sunset. Food - amazing restaurant - breakfast, and coffee on the terrasse. You can have a great dinner there as well. Book your place as it is a popular spot. The room was clean, everything worked, the bed was comfy, WIFI was good for my work. There is a common area where you can store things in the fridge, eat, play cards or drink grappa with friends. Big parking for cars.
