Perched at the end of a sandy beach on a rocky piece of land that juts out into the sea, Rosa Dei Venti feels like a true island escape on the Ligurian coast. But with a ferry daytime landing stage below and a seaside promenade right on the doorstep of this unique villa, all the charms and amenities of Levanto town are just a short stroll away.
Make the most of being right on the beach by relaxing on its long, sandy stretch and swimming in the clear waters. Also, take a leisurely walk along the promenade and into town to soak up the laidback, traditional atmosphere and historical sights. There are plenty of medieval buildings and pretty squares to discover in Levanto.
Incredibly light and spacious throughout, Rosa Dei Venti has been tastefully furnished to create a comfortable and effortlessly charming holiday home. Panoramic sea and town views are available in most rooms, with the villa’s terraces being the most idyllic spot to enjoy. Inside, on the ground floor, is a large living space with access to an attractive terrace. You’ll also find four of the seven bedrooms on this floor, including two en-suite double bedrooms and another two family bathrooms.
On the first floor is another spacious living room, with a dining table and access to a covered terrace. The fully equipped kitchen has every convenient appliance you could need. There are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms on this floor, too. A spiral staircase from one of the bedrooms on the first floor takes you up a tower to the seventh bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The numerous terraces dotted around Rosa Dei Venti are ideal for fully appreciating the unspoilt sea views. There’s also plenty to do beyond the town of Levanto. Hike along picturesque walking trails or discover the stunning Liguria region by train, with the famous Cinque Terre seaside villages being popular destinations. These five villages are immediately recognisable by the pastel-coloured buildings that huddle on dramatic hillsides and cliff edges. Enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere here in these traditional fishing communities.
What you should know…
- The seventh bedroom is in a tower, accessed via a spiral staircase from one of the first-floor bedrooms.
- The parking space for one car is 30m from the villa, yet a car is not really essential in Levanto.
- The rock that the villa sits on is not a private property, so you may see inquisitive passers-by or daytime ferry passengers.

Sehr empfehlenswert
Grossartiges Haus, wunderbare Umgebung.

Great location
We couldn’t ask for a better location – such a nice position by the beach and Levanto was a beautiful town. We loved how close it was to Cinque Terre but also loved that we could get away from the busy touristy towns and come back to Levanto which was far more of an authentic Italian Coastal village.

We had a blast!
The house was very clean and beautiful. It is very large with plenty of room for our group of 13. Our favorite part was the 5 difference terraces with great views. Driving in Levanto is very challenging, when we drove to the house we were followed by the police because you are not allowed to drive on the road leaving to the house. It is also expensive to park in so I recommend taking the train, which is very simple. The house is at a main point and public property in the town of Levanto so there are constantly people walking by and through to go to the dock below the house. We all personally enjoyed this but some people may be bothered by it. It is a great place to stay for a big group especially if you plan on visiting the nearby Cinque Terre which is a short train ride or a beautiful (but very difficult) hike into Monterosso (the first or fifth town depending on how you look at it). Overall we had a blast and enjoyed this house very much!

A great time!
Every once in a while a great villa comes along! This was one of those times. This villa has multiple terraces with sensational views. The villa itself was has 7 bedrooms and 5 baths. The beds were comfortable. The villa was clean and polished. The furniture was beautiful and well kept. The kitchen was very well equipped and surprised all of us (there were 10) with the extent to which the owners sought to provide everything we could possibly need in terms of pots, pans, cutting boards, china cabinets full plates, serving dishes, etc. There were 3 dining areas including a table for 12 on one of the terraces with views of Levanto. One of the best vacations we had. The manager, was available and accessible. We just had a great time!
