This colourful three-bed villa, has a comfortable yet spacious layout spread over two stories. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen and dining room, equipped with all the essential appliances for home-cooked meals. After a long day exploring, you can cuddle up on the sofa in the living area in front of the flat-screen satellite TV. Climb the spiral staircase to the first floor for an indulgent experience in the master bedroom with its own balcony and relaxing Jacuzzi bath.
Outside, you’ll find panoramic views of white-washed houses with a backdrop of the horizon, which you can admire from the comfort of the terrace. It’s easy to spend all day soaking in the sun, taking a dip in the pool when you need refreshing. Families or groups of friends will love having summer barbeques, indulging in a bite to eat while looking out into the horizon.
Villa Laurana is located in the Italian Rivera near the French border, just a 5-minute drive to the seaside town of Ventimiglia. Here you’ll find the pristine beaches of Spiaggia libera and Le Calandre and local archaeological museum displaying Roman artefacts and mosaics. Nature lovers can visit the Giardini Botanici Hanbury with over 5000 species of plants from around the world, and the nearby hills which offer great hiking with scenic views of the coast.
Drive twenty-five minutes across the border into France to reach Menton, a coastal town famous for its lemon groves and lush greenery. Explore the Jardins Biovès, a beautiful garden with exotic plants, fountains, and sculptures, and see amazing lemon and orange sculptures during February. Try Menton's famous lemon cuisine and sweets at local restaurants.
The resort town of San Remo is also a twenty-five minute drive away. Known for its casino and grand hotels, it has a wonderfully lively atmosphere. History enthusiasts will appreciate visiting the old town, with its historic churches St. Martin and St. Augustine. San Remo also boasts scenic beaches Arma di Taggia and Marina Beach with restaurants and cafes, and scenic cycle paths for breath-taking coastal views.
Around a forty minute drive away, Monaco is perfect for a day trip. Known for luxury shopping, glamorous lifestyle, and scenic coastline, the city has something for everyone. The villa has a feature, open-tread spiral staircase - children will need to be supervised when using this.

Two fun-filled towns sat at alternate sides of the coast are Menton, on the French side and San Remo, the Italian side. Both are a twenty-five minute drive away and are home to striking beaches, gardens and playgrounds.
Menton is famous for its lemon groves, and features an amazing garden called Jardins Biovès. This garden is especially exciting to visit in February, when it’s filled with sculptures made from citrus fruits! Children will love trying one of the lemon-based sweet treats that are a speciality for the town.
Drive around forty minutes to reach Monaco, an exciting city with plenty of opportunities for fun and adventure, from playing on the park or making sandcastles at the beach. Kids will love learning about marine sciences at the Oceanographic Museum and marvelling at the sea-creatures in Monaco Aquarium. Another great activity for families is the Princes Palace, where you can take a tour of the Genoese fortress built in 1911.
