Trulli Donnagaro sits in quintessentially Italian gardens, deep in the olive tree-dotted Ostuni countryside in Puglia. Your tucked-away idyll features a stylish villa and a traditional trullo, both reached via a sweeping driveway that passes through the lush and picturesque grounds that surround Trulli Donnagaro. You can appreciate this impressive approach every day, as you return from a peaceful walk through the countryside.
Between them, the main villa and trullo sleep six people in three en-suite bedrooms. The independently accessed trullo is home to a master suite, with an indulgent bathroom under its typical conical roof. There's an enchanting atmosphere throughout, with a strong sense of both heritage and romance.
The contemporary interior and modern comforts of the villa create a luxurious look and feel, with lovely touches to reflect its rural setting. Enjoy meals at the quirky dining table, with a base made from tree trunk sections that connects you to the area's natural beauty. Lovingly selected custom-made ceramic objects add even more warmth and personality to the already inviting open-plan living/dining room with kitchen.
You're only ever a few steps away from the glorious outside space in the trullo's master suite or the main villa's two restful bedrooms. The trullo also boasts a private patio with table and chairs and sun loungers for an early morning coffee or evening drinks. And for al-fresco drinks and meals at any time of the day, there's the covered terrace with kitchen, dining table and seating area.
Also set within Trulli Donnagaro's lawned gardens is a large swimming pool for refreshing dips on hot days. Whether illuminated by the afternoon sun or atmospheric lights by night, the outside space allows you to truly appreciate having your very own slice of the Puglia countryside.
The city of Ostuni, also known as 'The White City' due to the whitewashed buildings in its old town, is less than 15 minutes away by car. There's plenty of sightseeing to do in the city, with several other Valle d'Itria towns also offering a mix of culture and history within a 40-minute drive.
Torre Canne is a popular nearby resort with sandy beaches and lidos to enjoy. It's also famous for its mineral-rich natural hot springs. Parco Dune Costiere is a stunning natural park, with olive groves, wetlands and coastal spots to be explored either by bike or on foot.

About the surrounding area of Trulli DonnagaroWith Trulli Donnagaro being in such an idyllic spot in the Ostuni countryside, you can enjoy total peace and tranquility by simply staying put! But when you do want to explore the area around the villa, you'll find plenty of charming walks on offer.
A range of amenities are available in the nearby city of Ostuni, which is less than a 15-minute drive away. It's the ideal place to go for a delicious meal, with a number of restaurants serving traditional Italian cuisine and modern dishes. Stock up on groceries in the shops and supermarkets in the city also. And if you visit on a Saturday, you can browse the weekly fresh fruit and vegetable market for local produce.
Ostuni is also known as 'The White City'; a name that comes from its whitewashed old town. Some of the highlights here include the city walls and a 15th-century Gothic cathedral. The whole city is like a labyrinth, with networks of alleyways and staircases, so it's a beautiful place to simply walk around and discover hidden corners.
There are many other Valle d'Itria towns within an hour's drive of the villa. Alberobello is famous for its numerous trulli, which line its charming streets and give it a fairytale-feel. Cisternino, Martina Franca and Locorotondo are all towns with their own distinct personality that are well worth a visit.
The coast is only 30 minutes away by car, with Torre Canne being a popular resort with lovely sandy stretches. Torre Canne is also famous for its natural hot springs with mineral-rich waters.
Another natural highlight in the area is Parco Dune Costiere. Take leisurely walks through olive groves and get close to the sea by exploring the wetlands and sand dunes. You can also go on a guided tour to learn more about the flora and fauna of the park.

This beautiful natural park offers perfect places to walk and cycle, with landscapes dotted with olive groves and old farm houses. The park stretches to the beach, so you can relax by the sea after an afternoon of adventuring.
Zoo Safari, just outside the town of Fasano, is an animal and theme park that has live shows, a drive-through safari and plenty of rides and roller coasters. Some of the animals you'll see here include lions, tigers and monkeys.
More outdoor fun can be had at Acquapark Egnazia, with its range of pools and slides to suit children of all ages. You can also hire sun loungers and umbrellas for relaxing.

Absolute perfection!
Giovanna was an incredible host and her place is absolute perfection! From the minute we arrived we were impressed with the features of the home and what a lovely and relaxing environment it was. There is everything you could ever need or think of so it made for a great place to either spend the day by the pool or come home to at night.
The added experiences of being able to prearrange groceries for your arrival and organizing to have massages on site were a nice add on to the overall experience!
Giovanna was always very responsive which was great and very helpful when we had some issues with WiFi due to storms in the area. She had technicians come around to help us so we could continue to enjoy the experience.
Will 100% return to this spot. -
A break with friends in paradise
The whole property radiates a wonderful peace and totally blends in with nature. The house was furnished with great attention to detail, the pool is reserved Stylish and the garden with the olive trees and cacti invites you to go shopping for a pleasure. The absolute highlight for us is the outdoor kitchen with a large table and a lounge. We spent many days and evenings only on the property and could and totally relax.
Giovanna the owner and Emanuella our host on site welcomed us with open arms and were always available to us with questions.

Beautiful house
Beautiful house, all as shown on ad. The Pool, gazebo and outdoor kitchen are wonderful in the summer. Lots of things to see and to in 30 mins driving distance (beaches, nice villages, great food).

We had a wonderful time, the villa was beautiful, and we enjoyed cooking and eating in the outdoor kitchen. The pool was wonderful, although could do with some shade around the outside. Giovanna was an excellent host, very responsive and incredibly helpful with recommendations and bookings.

Giovanna is an excellent host. Very responsive and helpful. The property is beautifully presented and authentic and extremely well equipped. It was also immaculate. The outside kitchen/ seating area is a superb feature. We took advantage of a massage in the small trulli and a meal catered at the property both arranged by Giovanna. She will also arrange for a pre arrival grocery shop to be done in advance of your arrival. The pool area is also lovely and well equipped with sun loungers and chairs. There is also a high level of security. We had a wonderfully relaxing week. Highly recommended.
The only thing missing was a toaster.
Bottled water is a must which meant a lot of plastic bottles which I would have preferred not to have had to use but they do recycle.
Internet is a bit hit and miss.

We had a wonderful time exploring the area and then returning to relax at this beautiful property.
This is a lovely property - tastefully decorated, comfortable and very well located. Our host, Giovanna, was most welcoming, responsive and helpful with information about the amenities in the area, and organizing a taxi to a restaurant one evening and an airport transfer. The wine, pasta and other goodies we found upon our arrival were a much appreciated kind touch.

Exceptional
We were brought to Ostuni for a wedding and chose this villa for its location to the wedding venue. It was like our own little paradise in Ostuni. So private and so beautiful. It is only a 10 minute drive into the old town so very convenient. Due to our time frame we did not have the opportunity to explore more but it is close to the coastal towns. Loved our stay.

Perfect place to enjoy time with friend and to go sightseeing.
Trulli Donnagaro was a perfect space for our group of 6. The decor was very tastefully done with everything you could possibly need. There is indoor kitchen, dining and living as well as outdoors and we used both depending on the weather.
Giovanna was prompt with communication and nothing was to much trouble. She also gave us the name of a taxi service that we used a few times to go out to dinner.
