Nestled near the all-white town of Ostuni on the southern coast of Italy, the Trullo Poesia is a distinctive retreat, marrying the charm of original stone with the modern allure of whitewashed Mediterranean walls. This one-storey, detached villa, boasting three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, seamlessly blends traditional and contemporary elements. Surrounded by its own grounds and gardens, the villa provides an idyllic escape for up to six guests, ideal for a family holiday, or a group of friends’ getaway.
The ground floor of the villa is a thoughtfully designed living space with direct access to the garden. The seating area has a comfy three seater sofa, and three matching armchairs. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with the latest amenities, including an oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and that must-have morning coffee machine. An eight-seater dining set with a smart television is perfect for some indoor entertaining.
There are three simply-appointed spacious double bedrooms. The master bedroom, has a double bed, beside tables, a wardrobe, and a flat screen television, and opens onto the countryside view garden, patio, and veranda. The second bedroom has a double bed, a television, and garden access, whilst the third has a double bed and a direct link to the outdoors. The villa has two huge and beautifully-appointed bathrooms with walk-in showers, hand basins, and WCs. A handy service room with a washing machine and iron, along with shared closet space, complete the living space.
The exterior of the villa is equally inviting, with extensive grounds and gardens, populated with scented fruit trees. The covered veranda has built-in soft seating and an eight-seater dining set, providing a perfect spot for al fresco dining and relaxation. A barbecue area adds a touch of culinary delight to the outdoor experience. Take a walk through the gardens to a tiled terrace that hosts a private step entry swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers. A pergola houses a relaxing L-shaped soft seating set, and a coffee table, the hot spot for sun set sundowners.
The Trullo Poesia is equipped with essential facilities, including complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi, smoke detectors, CO2 detectors, and on-site parking. For added convenience, mosquito nets are in place, and the villa offers the option of engaging a private chef, cooking lessons, and baby amenities, all subject to charges. Heating is provided based on consumption, and airport transfers can be arranged upon request.
In essence, the Trullo Poesia offers a unique, original, stone house, cleverly blended with modern comforts for the most memorable stay on the sun-kissed shores of southern Italy.

Location
About the surrounding area of Trullo PoesiaTrullo Poesia can be found in the heart of the countryside, sitting on the outskirts of the must-see town of Ostuni, on the south coast of Italy. The nearest international airport is Brindisi, a scenic forty five minute drive to your holiday home. The charming sparkling white town of Ostuni is only a few kilometres away, with its historic centre, narrow streets, convivial squares, and impressive Romanesque cathedral.
The nearest and best beaches are a twenty minute drive to the protected coastal marine area of Torre Guaceto, with dunes and crystal clear waters that are great for swimming; Pilone, with golden sands, and organised clubs; and Rosa Marina, the longest stretch of beach in the area, with public and private sections. Whilst you are there enjoy paddleboarding, wind and kite surfing, or a boat trip along the coast.
Keep fit with a cycle through the countryside, or hike a local trail through olive groves and historic sites. Tee off at the San Domenico Golf Course, or play a game of tennis at the nearby club. Take a tour of the many wineries, and sample a glass of Puglia’s famous Primitivo.
Visit the local villages, or go further afield and head north to the holiday hot spot of Monopoli, or south to the ancient town of Brindisi.
As dusk falls sip cocktails, and wine and dine in the Piazza della Liberta, the main square in Ostuni, then dance until dawn at one of the beach clubs, which transform themselves into lively nightspots.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s lots for you and your family to do when you stay in the Puglian countryside on the south coast of Italy. Starting with the villa and its private pool, where they can swim and splash all day, and gardens in which they can safely play.
The area is renowned for its beautiful beaches, and fabulous famous dunes. Most notably for families, Torre Guaceto, with its pristine sands, and clear, shallow waters, it’s perfect for making sand castles or swimming and snorkelling in the Adriatic Sea. Rosa Marina is famous for its soft golden sands, organised facilities, brilliant beach clubs, and fabulous water sports for your older kids. Keep them active with a hike, bike, or horse ride through the local countryside and coastline.
Spend the day in nearby Ostuni old town, wander through the historic centre, visit the cathedral, and enjoy a family feast of local delicacies at one of the many welcoming cafes and restaurants. Check out the local events, and if you are lucky you might be there to join in the celebrations of the Ostuni Carnival.
Have some family fun with cooking classes where you can all learn to make traditional Puglian dishes. Take a tour around the local olive groves, and see how they make the delicious olive oils.
Go field afield to Zoosafari Fasanolandia in Fasano, a drive through safari park, with pools and slides for all age groups too.
