Experience the authenticity of rural Sardinia whilst being close to the idyllic beaches of the Costa Smeralda at this lovely 5-bedroom holiday home set amongst the trees, close to the historic sites and town of Arzachena.
Le Tre Stelle is a relaxed villa ideal for a group of friends or perhaps two families travelling together who are wanting to explore this wonderful part of northern Sardinia. Split across two separate apartments, each floor has its own living space allowing guests to maintain a sense of privacy. Gather together for al-fresco meals by the barbecue or for summer days swimming in the fantastic pool just set above the house.
The main apartment has a spacious living-dining room and pretty kitchen alongside three bedrooms sleeping up to eight guests whilst a second apartment has two further bedrooms, each one with a double and single bed, as well as a second lounge and kitchen. Simply yet charmingly furnished, all five bedrooms have air-conditioning and the bathrooms are bright and attractive. Across this welcoming abode there is a real sense of both space and comfort.
Despite the rural setting, the glorious beaches of the emerald coast are within half an hour whether you wish to experience the upmarket lifestyle in exclusive resorts such as Porto Cervo and Baja Sardinia or find a little bay with turquoise coloured sea, backed by pine trees and macchia. The owner can arrange boat hire and crew to the captivating Maddalena archipelago or admire the stunning scenery following coastal hiking trails.
Closer to home, visit local Vermentino-producing vineyards, discover historic sites such as the Giant’s Grave of Coddu Veccju and enjoy typical Sardinian cuisine in and around the local town of Arzachena, only 4km away.
The real joy of Le Tre Stelle is that you can appreciate the true character of rural Sardinia with its olive groves, agriturismi and enchanting Nuraghe, whilst also being so close to the glamour of Costa Smeralda with its exclusive beach clubs, high-end restaurants and of course most wonderful beaches.

Location
About the surrounding area of Le Tre StelleLe Tre Stelle is set amongst wonderful Sardinian landscapes of olive trees and hills with glorious views and an air of authenticity. Yet despite this countryside location, you are just 4km from the town of Arzachena within half an hour to many of the idyllic beaches of the emerald coast.
Set just off the main road leading to Arzachena (4km), you are well positioned to explore much of the northern part of Sardinia. It’s great to be so near Arzachena with its restaurants, cafes and shops and there are some especially picturesque spots in the heart of the old town. Walk up to Chiesa Santa Lucia for amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
Of course, this region is also famous for its historic sites such as the Giant’s Grave in Coddu Veccju, just a five-minute drive away, as well as many Nuraghe dotted across the landscapes, some accessed via picturesque walking paths. There are also great opportunities to sample wine from this area – the nearest vineyard, just 2km away, produces a delicious white Vermentino wine as well as red and rosé varieties.
A great appeal to this location is that you are never too far away from the glistening beaches whether heading to the glamourous and world-famous Costa Smeralda with upmarket resorts such as Porto Cervo (19km) and Baja Sardinia (18km) or the lovely seaside town of Palau (18km) where boats depart to the incredible La Maddalena archipelago (the owners can also arrange boat hire with its own crew for a tour of these beautiful islands).
Whichever beach you head to you can expect white sand, turquoise-coloured water and pretty bays often backed by macchia, the wild herbs of Sardinia. Look out for incredible hikes, for example around Capo D'Orso, Pevero and Capo Figari. By contrast, parts of this coastline also offer exclusive beach clubs, high-end restaurants and glitzy nightclubs frequented by millionaires in the height of the summer – this is a great island of contrasts.
There are further walking opportunities and mountain biking inland as well as horse-riding stables within a short drive and an 18-hole golf course in spectacular surroundings on the coast near Cala di Volpe. Also not far away is the stunning artificial lake of Lago di Liscia in the heart of rural Gallura, ideal for long walks, bird-watching and picnics by the oaks or olive trees.
