Villa Mare Blu' sits within a quiet community, surrounded by countryside on a hillside that overlooks the sea and nearby bay. The popular seaside town of Porto Cervo is just a short drive away, as are a number of other idyllic coastal spots.
The villa has a traditional feel throughout, with highlights including a wood-beamed ceiling and rustic stone features. Thick, whitewashed walls and beautiful tile floors keep each characterful room cool. This calming atmosphere is especially welcome in the bedrooms of both the main villa and attached annexe, with all five being incredibly restful spaces. Also a joy to spend time in is the bright and airy living/dining area with doors that open either into the garden or out to the pool terrace.
There's plenty of space outside for everyone to make the most of the spectacular sea, bay and hillside views. Stroll through the typical Mediterranean gardens and find a shady spot to relax, or sit and chat on the terrace by the pool. The pool itself is ideally positioned to give you the very best views of all.
A holiday spent at Villa Mare Blu' means having both the country and coast on the doorstep. Village amenities are easy to reach, with a beach just five minutes away by car.
For an even greater choice of sandy stretches, head to the resort of Porto Cervo with its laid-back glamour and luxury shopping opportunities. Its marina is a particularly lovely place to enjoy a fresh seafood meal and watch yachts as they come and go.
Quieter, wilder beaches can be found on La Maddalena; one of the main islands of the Maddalena archipelago. This collection of stunning islands can be reached by ferry from the town of Palau, which is around a 30-minute drive from the villa.
Traditional in-land towns with their ancient buildings and sites, such as Tempio Pausania, are an hour's drive away.
