This restored villa is warmly welcoming with authentic Tuscan décor, featuring exposed wooden beams, a rustic stone fireplace, and terracotta flooring. An open kitchen and dining area make it easy to bring the group together for meals, or fire up the barbecue and dine al-fresco at the garden table overlooking the manicured lawn and private pool.
Four bedrooms accommodate eight, with three en-suite bathrooms. The first floor bedroom boasts a private balcony where you can pair your morning coffee with simply spectacular views of the rolling Tuscan countryside. Included in the rental are mountain bikes and children’s playground.
Just 15 minutes' drive away in Camucia are cafes, a supermarket, and the Camucia-Cortona railway station. However, the must-see attractions lie in medieval Montepulciano, about a 30-minute drive from the property. Here you’ll delight in the hill town’s museums, ancient castles, and delicious Tuscan fare. Don’t forget to try the famous Vino Nobile while you’re here!

Best Suited For: All AgesTuscany is a great place for a family friendly holiday, and this property is perfectly placed to take advantage of what the area has to offer.
The city of Arezzo is 40 minutes away by car and is home to Pool Water Park Florida. As well as a beautiful swimming pool, there's an area for games, trampolines and a grass football pitch.
Lake Trasimeno National Park (32km) is great for a family day out. There are lakes for swimming in and you can take boat trips over to the islands of Isola Minore and Isola Maggiore.
In the city of Florence, just over an hour’s drive away, you can take a Segway tour around the winding streets before heading to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, a great interactive experience which highlights the artist’s various engineering projects. Of course, a trip to an ice cream parlour would top off the day!
Cortona (12km) is home to Fortezza del Girifalco, an ancient hilltop fortress overlooking the city. What an adventure the children will have, exploring the guardhouse, keep and four corner bastions of this impressive building.
Particularly adventurous children will enjoy the Saltalbero Adventure park, just 35km away, which is equipped with 7 acrobatic trails divided by age level and difficulty. The activities include rope bridges, pirate ladders and swinging logs, inducing a real sense of adventure!
For the younger children, there are many playgrounds in Siena as well as the Orto de Pecci park, only a 5 minute walk from the Piazza del Campo. Further fun activities in Siena include the natural history museum which has displays about animals as well as rocks and minerals. Another educational museum trip is the Santa Maria della Scala, found opposite the Duomo.
