Overview
Sat upon a gorgeous green hill in the heart of Tuscany, this charming farmhouse is the perfect place to vacation with friends and family. You’ll be blown away by the attention to detail that makes this casa so stunning. Each room is decorated more beautifully than the last and outside you’ll find lovely flowers and breathtaking views of the countryside. With a summer outdoor pool and indoor fireplace, you’ll have a great stay – whatever the season.
In its former days, the farmhouse was a working mill. When you step through the entrance/dining room on the ground floor, it’s like walking into a piece of history. The old mill works still remain and tie in beautifully with the rest of the room. It’s almost as if you can hear the clogs still turning as they grind the olives into oil. This fascinating feature truly sets it apart from others.
The décor is gorgeous throughout. Whether you’re relaxing in the living room or sunbathing by the pool, you’ll be surrounded by beauty. All six bedrooms benefit from a meticulously decorated en-suites, meaning everyone can enjoy their own ‘me time’. Stunning items such as marble showers, chestnut wood vanity units and stone sinks make staying in this property a truly characterful experience.
Equipped with everything you need, this farmhouse feels like a home away from home. With wooden units, a decorative beam and it’s own terrace looking out onto the countryside, cooking in this kitchen certainly doesn’t feel like a chore!
Holidaying in this villa, you’ll find plenty of things to do. Whether it’s wine tasting in the wine cellar, swimming in the pool or taking in the idyllic views. Visit the restaurant in the nearby village, for some exquisite Italian food and drink. The stunning city of Lucca is a half an hour drive away and features picturesque buildings, lovely gardens and historical landmarks – such as the Church of St Andrew – waiting to be discovered.
Take the 35-minute drive down to Pisa where you can take a photograph with its world famous leaning tower, wander around impressive landmarks such as the Baptistery or Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and dine in one of the many delicious restaurants the city has to offer. Feel the sand beneath your toes at the two wonderful local beaches Viareggio and Forte Dei Marmi, the gorgeous coastline will take your breath away.
This farmhouse is an idyllic escape from everyday life. Whether you are enjoying a glass of wine by the fire, swimming in the pool or taking in the heavenly views. Activities such as hiking and bike riding are available in the immediate area, or you can venture out into the local cities to get a real taste of Italian food and culture.
