A spectacular place
I am writing to share how much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Vinci, which is truly a spectacular place. We had the most wonderful time, and the entire experience was made even better by the exceptional on-site team.
Adrian, the caretaker, was always available for anything we needed. Even though he doesn’t speak English, he managed to communicate with us effortlessly and was always so kind and helpful. The villa itself was kept impeccably clean throughout our stay, a remarkable feat given our group size.
One of the absolute highlights was the cooking class with Chef Chiara. Her warmth, skill, and passion for Tuscan cuisine made the experience unforgettable. The dishes we prepared were not only delicious but also taught us so much about the local culinary traditions.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already looking forward to returning to Villa Vinci in the future! -
Top-notch, beautiful villa
What a trip! This is a top-notch, beautiful villa located just outside Siena and Monteriggioni--you can see the walled city of Monteriggioni from the villa. The villa is air conditioned and has a nice private pool on site. For an additional fee, the proprietor will provide breakfast and dinner - options at least some members of my family took advantage of every morning and evening of a 14-day stay. The dinners have four courses and include wine and three types of locally made after-dinner drinks. The food was delicious and varied day-to-day. Tomasso, is friendly and helpful, provides great recommendations, and by making reservations for us at great restaurants nearby and in Siena. The villa has a beautiful patio for enjoying after dinner drinks (be sure to try the limoncello and other privately bottled Villa Vinci apertifs provided with dinner). The villa also has a washer/dryer unit, allowing you to pack less for your stay. Twelve of us visited and there was plenty of room. From the villa, we made many day trips including to Volterra, Monteriggioni, Siena, Pisa, Castellina in Cianti, and Florence. The Foresteria winery is a short 5 minute drive away and a great place for lunch or dinner as well. An unforgettable vacation to an amazing location.

We cannot say enough good things about Villa Vinci.
We cannot say enough good things about Villa Vinci. The villa retains all the classic elegance you would desire, but with updated bathrooms and climate control that provide the modern comforts we don't want to give up! Beds are comfortable, with excellent linens. Cleanliness is exceptional. We received a warm welcome from Tomasso, who was always available to answer questions or provide advice on restaurants. We were planning our next visit before we departed.

Tuscan dream come true
Villa Vinci was our home for two glorious weeks, August 24- September 7. Situated right between Siena and Florence, we were in close proximity to many hill towns, each one with its own personality and distinction. The shadows played on the hills all day long, leaving tiny Monteriggioni glowing golden in the late afternoon...the views from the villa were enchanting. My day started before sunrise, with the sound of distant roosters, my journal and an espresso on the terrace . Our family of 15 joined us, our family ages 23 thru 75, all so comfortable in the beautiful bedrooms and inviting common rooms. The pool was a great way to end the day. Although we (the older set) used drivers and taxis to get around, the others easily made their way with rental cars. Chiara and Tommasso prepared delicious breakfast choices for all of us each morning - something new every day...a bowl of fresh figs, homemade preserves, freshest eggs ever...in addition to the obligatory cheeses and meats, yogurts and breads. Dinners prepared by Chiara and served by Tommasso were delicious and perfectly presented...the wines flowed freely! We were fortunate in being able to have the whole family on the terrace for our two big dinners together - truly magical evenings! Villa Vinci, with Chiara and Tommasso, made our Tuscan dream come true.

Possibly the best property we have ever stayed in
We are a group of friends who have rented luxury properties on many continents for many years and without a doubt this is the best value for money and possibly the best property we have ever stayed in. From the beautiful building to the well-appointed furnishings, beautiful Tuscan setting, fantastic outdoor pool area and lovely hosts, every expectation was met and surpassed. I cannot recommend this property strongly enough.

Wholeheartedly recommend
Villa Vinci is magical and well positioned location to explore and experience Tuscany. Tommaso and Chiara are perfect hosts and help make your trip memorable. The Villa is grand and has the amenities needed to make your stay very special. The pool is a great place to relax after having a special day in Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, or Monteriggioni. The town of Staggia has a market for supplies and delicious restaurants. We had two dinners at the Villa prepared by Chiara that were beyond our expectations. The multiple course meals were so delicious and full of flavors of Tuscany. I’m still dreaming about the pesto lasagna. Villa Vinci is a magical place I wholeheartedly recommend and hope to return to someday.

I wish I could have stayed longer!
I had an amazing experience staying at Villa Vinci. The premises were truly beautiful and Tommasso and his family were amazing and made you feel very welcome. The villa was situated in a picturesque hillside allowing for great views of Tuscany, while still being close enough to Florence to make experiencing Italy very easy. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Lovely views
Tommaso and his family were excellent hosts. We enjoyed a meal and a cooking class from his wife. The location has lovely views. Rooms were very spacious and clean.

Our advice? Pick Villa Vinci!
We cannot imagine a better villa from which to explore the delights of Tuscany. Our hosts were welcoming and simply lovely people. The villa was large, perfectly and lovingly appointed, bright and comfortable for the ten of us. We ate and drank well both at the villa and in nearby Staggia (Roberto at Nostrano was awesome!), and walked all over the area even as far as Monterrigioni. Tommaso provided us excellent taxi contacts to get to the train at Poggibonsi to go to Florence, and helped us out with food shopping and even picked us some fresh basil from their garden. Our advice? Pick Villa Vinci!

This wonderful home will absolutely amaze you
Unless you regularly stay in 18th Century Italian villas, this wonderful home will absolutely amaze you. My wife and I, and three other couples, spent five glorious nights at Villa Vinci in April 2018. Our jaws dropped as Tomasso gave us a tour when we arrived. Everything about Villa Vinci is breath taking. The beds and accommodations are first rate, the views and grounds are lovely, and the location is fantastic. Tomasso and Chiara are perfect hosts, and Chiara is phenomenal cook. For a very reasonable cost she cooked a four-course Italian meal for us that was to die for. The dinner included wine and dessert liquors, and Chiara accommodated my need to be gluten free. The dinner was one I will never forget. We recommend Villa Vinci wholeheartedly!

Beautiful week
We had a beautiful week in Tuscany staying at villa Vinci. This villa has lost of space and most bedrooms are en suite. The couple who own it can organise wonderful meals to eat in which we did twice, with plentiful wine and liquors. The food was very Tuscan and lovely. Although the villa is 2 km from the village it is walkable in daylight but at night we took car to a local restaurant which was very good. You can easily visit Sienna by train (15 mins) and we took car to San Gimmigano and Volterra. The pool at villa is not heated but for hardy Scottish people it was fine on the sunny days .

Raise a glass and cheer Villa Vinci!
It was an amazing week long visit to Tuscany and we stayed in this blissful countryside estate. Villa Vinci was a fabulous place to take a break from the hectic, fast-paced world. This retreat was full of history, artwork, comfortable furnishings, a beautiful pool, and gorgeous vistas. The villa had plenty of room for family and guests. The bedrooms were lovely with individual a/c controls which was nice for the hotter evenings. There was a space for alfresco dining and the living room areas were spacious, warm, and welcoming. It was easy to take day trips from the villa. There were towns with in 10 miles and Florence was less than an hour away. It was helpful to have a GPS for longer road trips. Those of us on that were on this amazing, beautiful week's journey continue to raise a glass and cheer Villa Vinci!

Recommend it highly
We actually stayed at Villa Vinci for six weeks beginning in June of 2016. It was even a nicer place than we expected - spacious, immaculate, bright rooms with plenty of living space for family and friends to be together. We had wonderful meals in the patio that were prepared by the owner's wife. We celebrated special birthdays, a special anniversary at that time. The pool was wonderful and the grounds were spacious with plenty of outdoor furniture in which to relax. The owners were attentive to our every request and their living on the property made their responses immediate. We hope to spend another happy summer at Villa Vinci in the future and recommend it highly. The location in Tuscany was excellent and provided close access to some of the best hill towns.

Beyond expectations
Our entire experience at Villa Vinci was beyond expectations. We travelled with 4 generations, ages 3 1/2 to 85! The villa was spectacular, spacious & immaculate. The pictures on line don't do it justice. Tommasso & Chiara were the best, any questions, they were there to answer. They were extremely accommodating & phenomenal cooks! I actually took some recipes back to the U.S.
