The seaside town of San Vito Lo Capo is a wonderful choice for those seeking a holiday relaxing on sunny beaches in Northern Sicily. Villa Piccioli is within walking distance of the lively town centre and sandy beaches. Sleeping up to 16 guests, this modern, spacious home is the perfect choice for a trip with the extended family.

Villa Piccioli is a stylish and welcoming family home spread over three floors. Recently renovated, the villa offers bright and airy rooms. On the ground floor, you will find a large living room that opens onto the garden. This living space is ideal for gathering in the evenings and is equipped with a comfy sofa, footstools and a flat-screen TV. Following on from the living room, there is a well-equipped, contemporary kitchen and an indoor dining table. From here, you can walk through to the connecting outdoor terrace. 

The villa offers flexible accommodation; you can rent the home as a four-bedroom or a seven-bedroom villa, depending on the size of your party. In addition, one of the bedrooms is a first-floor suite accessed independently, and extra beds can be added to the larger bedrooms. Whether you are travelling with a group of friends or your wider family, the home can be tailored to suit your needs. The bedrooms here are set over the three floors; there are six double bedrooms and one bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a double.  

Outdoors, guests can unwind on the terrace and enjoy a beautiful, leafy garden. You can cook on the barbecue and dine al-fresco in the garden, surrounded by fragrant planting and palm trees. There is also a private pool, a fantastic children’s play area and views of the sea and the mountain.   

You can easily walk into town and to the nearby beaches. The closest beach is under 1km away, while the town can be reached within 1.5km of the home. The charming centre is filled with cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, and many cultural and historic attractions.   

A little further afield, you can visit protected natural parks or spend a day exploring the gorgeous city of Trapani, 37km away. The city is picturesque, with museums, archaeological sites, and markets. You can also depart on boat trips from Trapani to the Egadi islands.

  • When renting Villa Piccioli there are 3 capacity options. The 8 guest option includes the rental of 4 bedrooms, the 14 guest option, 7 bedrooms, and the 16 guest option, 7 bedrooms with 2 additional single beds placed in the largest rooms.
  • When minimum occupancy is booked, some rooms may not be accessible and this remains at the owner's discretion. Please enquire should you require details.
  • Please note that the twin bedroom on the lower ground floor is of smaller dimensions than standard measurements - please enquire for more details.

If you are looking for a base for your Sicilian escape, with a charming town centre and sun-drenched beaches on your doorstep, then Villa Piccioli in the seaside town of San Vito Lo Capo is a delightful choice. Within 1.5km of the home, there are several beaches, shops, restaurants and bars.

Sitting below the vast mountain, the town of San Vito Lo Capo is a lovely place with everything you could need on a relaxing break. The main attraction here is, of course, the long sandy beach with clear, turquoise water. The beach is easily accessed from the town and has free sections as well as beach clubs with sun loungers and umbrellas for hire. This beach is just one of many near the home, and you can find even more a short drive away. Cala Mancina (4km away), Cala Rossa (5km away), and Lido Acqua Azzura (10km away) are just some of the beaches you can spend the day at. In addition to these serviced beaches with sun beds and eateries nearby, you can also discover unspoilt coves at local nature reserves and protected parklands.

This area is packed with parks such as Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro, 10km away, or Riserva Naturale Orientata Monte Cofano, 22km away. Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro is a picturesque place to enjoy walks and lengthy hikes through pine forests and native flora and follow breathtaking coastal trails. The park also has pristine beaches with ideal spots for a peaceful swim or snorkelling. Riserva Naturale Orientata Monte Cofano is the place to hike up Monte Cofano. This is known as Sicily’s most beautiful hike as you ascend the peak via coastal and mountainous landscape to find the most incredible views at the top. Close to the park boundary, you can also visit Mangiapane Cave, a fantastic cave filled uniquely with the buildings of a 19th-century village. These dwellings have been perfectly preserved so visitors can experience how the farmers and shepherds who once lived here spent their days.

Not only can you find this incredible range of beaches, vast parklands and mountains near the villa, but you can also discover San Vito Lo Capo town centre, which is 1.5km away. The town has a vibrant yet historic centre with pretty streets. Some key attractions include the 15th-century Santuario di San Vito and the nearby 17th-century watchtower. The town also has plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and beach-side bars, so you will have lots to keep you busy.

Security deposit €1000 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m. Check-in outside this time may be subject to an extra cost. Please enquire for more details.
Departure time 8.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. Late check-in available at an extra cost of €30.
End of stay cleaning included? Included for stays of 7 nights or more. €150 for stays of less than 7 nights. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

    We have rented several vacation houses and apartments in the past. However, we look forward to our time in San Vito lo Capo since we were in love with Sicily. We chose the Villa Piccioli. The pictures and the description gave us a good idea of what to anticipate, and we were not disappointed. They obviously went above and beyond what we had hoped for. The hamlet and the beautiful ocean are both easily accessible on foot. Everything from the first contact to the final delivery was handled straightforwardly and expertly. The proprietor greeted us with open arms and made us feel at home. The property is so comfortable and convenient that we want to spend many more vacations there.
