Located in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, in the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula, stands the luxury oceanfront property, Villa Del Agua. This stunning six-bedroom property accommodates up to 12 guests and features stunning boho-beach-luxury style, private terraces, ocean and jungle views, and of course, a private infinity pool. Villa Del Agua is secluded and quiet, with only two private residences for neighbours, and yet has shopping, golfing, and scuba diving facilities all on your doorstep!
Upon arriving at the villa, guests won't fail to be amazed by this little slice of paradise. Set right on the beach and surrounded by tall coco palms, Villa Del Agua oozes boho-beach luxury; from the stunning palapa roof, hammocks swinging in the trees, and the sun loungers set out on the white powdery sands. Guests can enjoy a dip in their private, heated infinity pool before retiring to the covered dining area that seats 10 guests and making the most of the outdoor grill. The villa boasts an outside sound system, so you'll be able to enjoy an evening bbq before cranking up the sounds and enjoying some cocktails on the beach.
Villa Del Agua boasts an interior that is equally beautiful and luxurious, with spacious, open-plan living areas, stunning handcrafted furniture, and a rustic palapa design. The decor is very 'beach-chic', with lots of wood-on-white, handwoven Mexican textiles, and plush cream sofas and lounge areas. Most have been made of natural shades and materials, with exquisite bathtubs crafted in light-coloured polished stone, rich wooden floors and open-air shower rooms featuring lush green tropical plants, all offering an exotic touch. The villa boasts an incredibly well-equipped kitchen that features all modern amenities and offers plenty of storage and food preparation spaces.
Each bedroom is equally spacious and tastefully decorated, with lots of natural shades of shell and pearl against the white walls and rich dark wooden tones. Every room boasts a king-size bed, as well as being fully air-conditioned, and all feature a flat-screen satellite TV. The bedrooms all offer incredible views of either the ocean or jungle, with some also having a private terrace; the perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening glass of bubbly while listening to the waves lap the shore. There are also two private garden suites located outside of the main house, which provide guests with that added bit of privacy.
If you're travelling within a big group, and are looking for something a bit large to hold you all, then you're in luck! Villa del Agua is located next to the gorgeous Villa Zacil. Please get in touch with us today to enquire about renting both properties together!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa del AguaVilla Del Agua is an oceanfront property in Puerto Aventuras located in Quintana Roo, Mexico, and is considered one of the country’s best-kept secrets. This upscale golf and yachting community is tucked away from the hubbub of the busier tourist destinations and yet is still within easy distance of places such as Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, and Cancun. Centred around the main marina, Puerto Aventuras is known for its fishing, tennis, and golf - so be sure to indulge your love of these sports while you are here! The area boasts shops selling local crafts and a few small grocery stores, as well as a market that meets twice a week at the main square in the town, where you’ll be able to buy fresh local produce such as fruits and vegetables. If you happen to encounter a rainy day during your stay, there is a small maritime museum bursting with interesting nautical artefacts that is well worth a visit too.
Scuba diving is a popular activity here, and Puerto Aventuras hosts many multilingual instructors, as well as being home to several dive masters, not to mention state-of-the-art-equipment and custom dive boats. Guests will have the choice of open water dives or cenote diving, and with the reef just 100 feet from the shore, you can easily take part in several dives in one day to get the most from your experience. There are also a couple of dolphin parks where visitors can kayak or swim with dolphins and manatees.
When it comes to food, there are few places in Mexico where you won’t find something to suit everyone, and Puerto Aventuras is no exception. Most of the restaurants and cafes can be found around the Marina, and here you’ll find independent coffee shops, gelato stands, Italian restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, and, of course, plenty of places offering amazing Mexican cuisines, such as fresh fish and shrimp tacos. All of the restaurants are on the dolphin lagoon and offer incredible views of the yachts and fishing boats that are moored beyond the boardwalk. We particularly recommend coming for a meal at sunset for a truly memorable meal in a beautiful setting.

Region
Riviera Maya is a breathtaking stretch of coastline renowned for its pristine, sun-kissed beaches, vibrant coral reefs and rich cultural heritage. This tropical paradise on the eastern coast of Mexico extends south of Cancun. It captivates visitors with its wonderful array of attractions, iconic landmarks and ecological wonders. If you haven’t been, then go!!
One of the region's standout attractions is the ancient Mayan city of Tulum. Perched on a clifftop overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Tulum boasts well-preserved ruins that offer a glimpse into the ancient civilization's architectural prowess. Visitors can explore the Castillo, a castle-like structure with panoramic ocean views and the amazing Temple of the Frescoes, adorned with intricate Mayan murals. Tulum also enjoys a stunning beach, providing a perfect blend of history and natural beauty. A short drive inland takes you to the Coba archaeological site, another archaeological gem of the region. Coba is distinguished by its massive pyramid, Nohoch Mul, which stands proudly as the tallest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula. Adventurous souls can climb to the top for a spectacular view of the surrounding jungle. The site also boasts a network of ancient sacbeob (white roads) connecting various structures, creating a sense of mystery and exploration.
For those enchanted by marine life, Xel-Ha Park is extraordinary. Known as the largest natural aquarium in the world, Xel-Ha is a sprawling aquatic theme park where visitors can snorkel amid colourful fish, explore hidden caves and take part in thrilling water activities such as tubing and cliff jumping. Riviera Maya is also famous for its cenotes, natural sinkholes formed by the collapse of cave systems. Dos Ojos, meaning "Two Eyes" in Spanish, is a famous cenote system offering surreal underwater landscapes for snorkelers and scuba divers. Crystal-clear waters reveal intricate rock formations and unique ecosystems, providing an incredible aquatic experience.
In addition to these natural wonders, Riviera Maya boasts vibrant towns and cities that add to its charm. Playa del Carmen, a bustling coastal town, is known for its lively atmosphere, Fifth Avenue shopping district and vibrant nightlife. Visitors can stroll along the pedestrian-friendly street, lined with shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Playa del Carmen also serves as a gateway to the nearby Cozumel Island, a paradise for divers and snorkelers with its world-class coral reefs. A short distance from Playa del Carmen, the eco-archaeological park, Xcaret, offers a unique blend of nature, culture, and adventure. Families enjoy cultural performances, interact with wildlife in the park's zoo and experience the thrill of the underground river. Xcaret provides a fascinating journey through Mexican history and traditions, making it an ideal destination for all ages. Venturing south, Akumal is a coastal town known for its tranquil beaches and the opportunity to swim with sea turtles. Observing these gentle creatures in their natural habitat is a fabulous experience.
Riviera Maya is a treasure trove of natural wonders, ancient history, aquatic fun and family-friendly attractions. Whether exploring the ancient ruins of Tulum, snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Xel-Ha or strolling along the lively streets of Playa del Carmen, this Mexican paradise offers a diverse and enriching experience for visitors of all ages. The Riviera Maya beckons with its sun-kissed shores, inviting travellers to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of this captivating destination.
