The living area features a half-circle sofa in a light oatmeal shade, decked with plush tangerine coloured cushions - an ideal cosy spot for a family evening in front of the wall-mounted satellite TV. All of the rooms are decorated to the same incredibly high standard, with natural shades, wooden floors, and crisp white linens. Brightly coloured Mexican artworks adorn the walls, and there are further accents of brightness in the scatter cushions and throws that provide splashes of bright orange, blue and soft grey. The rooms offer plenty of storage space with beautifully crafted wooden wardrobes and chests, and whichever floor you happen to be on, the views of coco palms, white sands, or glittering turquoise waters are spectacular. Villa Moon features a separate guest house in the grounds which houses the fifth bedroom. This room features a queen-size bed and is decorated in the same style as the bedrooms in the main villa. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities consisting of either a bathtub or shower, all crafted in luxurious cool marble.
Outside, guests will notice the beautiful architecture of this semi-circular property, which is partly shaded by tall palms and mangroves, as well as its spacious outdoor areas that include a covered dining area and grill - perfect for al fresco meals, and the comfy outdoor lounge area, ideal for relaxing in the evening with a cocktail or glass of wine whilst enjoying the incredible ocean views.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa MoonVilla Moon is located on the secluded beach of Soliman Bay, a tranquil and secluded getaway, perfect for those wanting to be far from the more crowded tourist spots of Mexico. The sand here is powdery white and there are tall shady palms offering protection during the hottest part of the day. There is a reef near to the shore meaning that visitors can actually walk out to it before snorkelling among the brightly coloured fish; foot protection is recommended as the entry to the sea can be rocky, but there is also a sandy path to the reef that can be walked barefoot.
The beach is semi-private as it is part of the gated community of luxury villas, providing guests with their own private stretches of sand. Soliman Bay is ideal for families because of its calm clear waters and lack of undercurrent, making it perfect for those who are holidaying with children. Soliman Bay even features its own restaurant, Chamicos; a rustic beach-hut style premises that offers some of the best seafood in the area, as well as lounge areas and hammocks, and walking further along the beach you’ll come to an abandoned wooden boat among the palms, covered in bright and beautiful graffiti - an Instagram-worthy find if ever there was one! At the far northern end of the beach you’ll find the Sahara Cafe, which is part of the luxury boutique Jashita Hotel. Here you can enjoy a more upscale experience, with an elegant set-up on the beach, perfect for sampling some delicious cocktails as you watch the sun set.

Hugging the Caribbean coastline of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, Tulum enjoys incredible white sandy beaches, ancient Mayan ruins and a bustling cultural scene. This coastal town, once a quiet fishing village, has evolved into a sought-after destination, offering a unique blend of history, natural beauty and considerable contemporary charm. Tulum has embraced sustainable tourism and many resorts showcase eco-friendly architecture that seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings. From boutique hotels to luxurious beachfront properties, these establishments often prioritize eco-conscious practices, making them a perfect choice for travellers seeking a harmonious blend of comfort and environmental responsibility. Tulum has become a global hub for wellness seekers, with numerous yoga retreats and wellness centres. Visitors can participate in beachfront yoga sessions, holistic spa treatments and meditation workshops, immersing themselves in a rejuvenating and mindful experience.
One of the most iconic attractions in Tulum is the ancient Mayan archaeological site, perched majestically on cliffs overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The well-preserved ruins include the Castillo, a towering pyramid, and the Temple of the Frescoes, adorned with intricate carvings. Visitors can explore the remnants of this once-thriving city and marvel at the ingenuity of the Mayan civilization.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesFor families travelling to Mexico with children there are fewer destinations more suited for a quiet beach holiday than Soliman Bay, Tulum. Villa Moon is spacious and open plan, making it an ideal family accommodation, and the rooms all have en-suite facilities, air conditioning and satellite TVs. Parents of very young children will want to be aware that there are some steps, and the outside areas are largely stone, so it’s worth being vigilant in case of trips or falls. A private pool is a welcome addition to any family holiday, and Villa Moon features a pool partially shaded by palms, offering some protection to young skin.
If a private pool is top of your family holiday wishlist, a private beach must be a close second, and Villa Moon offers just that. The soft white sands of Soliman Bay are for the exclusive use of the guests staying at the villas in this community, ideal for those who don’t want to be worrying about the kids on a crowded beach. What could be better than relaxing on the sands, or enjoying a cool drink in the shade of a palapa while the kids play freely within your sight. The sea here is another great plus for those who are travelling with children - there is no strong undercurrent and the waters are clear and calm, giving some extra peace of mind if the little ones want to paddle or swim. Soliman Bay is known as one of the only beaches where you can find large shells to collect - so the kids will be able to fill up their buckets to their heart’s content or decorate their sand castles, all without having to wander from your watchful eye.
