THE REGION
Portimão is the largest city in the western Algarve and was traditionally a centre for shipbuilding, sardine fishing and fish processing. Today, most of that industry has been replaced by tourism, leisure and retail, leaving Portimão as a large and residential city. Perhaps the most attractive part of the town is the riverfront which runs from the marina to beyond the road bridge. There are several squares along this stretch, which become increasingly less touristy as you head away from the marina.
Of course, Portimão is probably best known for the fantastic beach of Praia da Rocha. Located about 3 km south of the town, this is one of the most impressive stretches of sand on the Algarve coast. Take a trip up the Rio Arade and explore the local area, or get out and active in the sunshine. I would recommend it without hesitation!
Located in the small town of Ferragudo, less crowded than other seaside resorts around, we found the location of the perfect place to discover the Algarve, since we had our vehicle, and we were at the center of all the places to explore. It is possible to park your vehicle on the street right in front of the accommodation. Regarding the house, it is exactly as shown in the photos, and has all the amenities necessary for the smooth running of the stay. Cleanliness is impeccable. I would recommend it without hesitation!

An ideal holiday place
Very nice house, well equipped, well decorated and well located: an ideal holiday place. The house is tastefully decorated, nothing missing, everything is very clean. It is located in the small peaceful and authentic village of Ferragudo, its access is easy and there are small shops and restaurants minutes away. I highly recommend this place, especially since communication with the owner is easy and pleasant.

Nice place, clean and well equipped. The pool, although small, is very pleasant. It’s a real plus when it’s very hot. The property is located in a beautiful, fairly typical and lively village (restaurants, beaches, and shops).

This was one of the best and cleanest houses we have stayed in. The house seems to be new and everything is clean and in perfect condition. For the price, it was an excellent choice. Ferragudo is not one of the most attractive locations in Algarve, but it is located close to Carvoeiro and other nice beaches. The upside to this is that it is quiet, so we slept very well, and we always found a restaurant that could seat us at the last minute. The little plunge pool was an added bonus for my kids at the end of a long day at the beach. Communication with the property manager was easy. Nothing negative to point. Highly recommend!

Very clean house, kitchen has all the primary products to cook. The property area has great restaurants. Very nice house and clean pool and offers the right privacy! Surely Ferragudo is not one of the most beautiful areas of the Algarve but gives you the opportunity to move around to visit the entire coast without any problems. Great stay!
