This bright and generously-sized holiday home is nestled near the sought-after area of Vale do Lobo. Tucked away behind automatic gates, this lovely four-bedroom villa sleeps up to nine guests and is the perfect choice for friends, family or multiple couples looking to spend some quality time together. This charming villa retains many traditional Portuguese features and has an inviting and homely feel.

The wonderful, open-plan style of the villa creates a fabulously bright and welcoming interior. The large kitchen is fully equipped, modern and decorated in neutral tones. There is air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout the entire villa. In the wonderful living room, you can enjoy a cosy atmosphere as you sit back and relax on the huge sofa in front of the traditional fireplace and TV. There are also two dining tables for guests to settle down for a feast.

There are four wonderful bedrooms in total. The first two are found on the ground floor, and both have double beds and en suite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms also has a sofa bed. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms with twin beds that share a bathroom; these bedrooms would be ideal for kids! Each of the bedrooms is unique, colourful and finished to a high standard, providing a private haven for guests to rest and recharge after a long day in the sun. The bathrooms are also spacious and well equipped.

Around the beautifully well-kept garden, guests will find all kinds of exotic plants, palms and trees. The large private pool sits centrally in the garden, surrounded by loungers where you can soak up the sunshine, and mature trees creating a cooling shade. A lovely lawn encircles the villa, providing plenty of room for exploring and having fun with the family! There are several areas for rest and recreation, including comfortable sun loungers, an outdoor L-shaped sofa and a lovely dining area for eight persons, shaded by an automatic awning.

There is also a traditional barbecue just beside this for super easy meals in the sunshine! At the back garden, there is a garage that has been converted to a games room with a pool table and a table tennis table. The villa is located minutes away from Almancil town centre, as well as the neighbouring resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, meaning guests won’t have to go far to enjoy what the Algarve has to offer. With its impressive facilities, stunning views and tranquil surroundings, Villa Iros has everything guests need to relax in absolute luxury.

While the Vale do Lobo resort is nearby, the location remains calm and quiet, making it ideal for a little outdoor activity, be that a peaceful stroll or even a bike ride. We recommend hiring bikes nearby and taking a scenic trip around the neighbourhood, including the world-famous golf courses just short ride away!

Once an expanse of pine forests and empty beaches, Vale do Lobo has been transformed into the height of luxury over the last 50 years. The first of the three corners of what is now Algarve's Golden Triangle, Vale do Lobo was among the first tourist resorts ever to be built in Portugal, and indeed is the site of the first five-star hotel in the Algarve!

Of course, with two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Royal and the Ocean, Vale do Lobo is the dream destination for any aspiring golfer. So fantastic are the facilities, the resort hosted the Portuguese Open in 2002 and 2003! Indeed, across the country of Portugal, there are 14 of the world’s top 100 best golf courses, making it the perfect destination for those who enjoy a day out on the course.

Outside of golf, the Algarve is an excellent destination for other hobbyists. With a vast coastline that meets the powerful Atlantic Ocean, Portugal is a true paradise for the keen surfer, or indeed even those looking to try it for the first time, with plenty of surfing schools all along the calmer sections of the coast. And even for those less enamoured with surfing, the beaches of Portugal are well worth a visit for their beautifully clear waters.

The Algarve, the southernmost region of Portugal, is famous for its picturesque scenes of vast blue skies casting a warming glow on the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, with untouched bays framed by jagged Limestone rocks at every turn. While the southern coast caters to every need of its visitors, to the West and the rugged interior the land remains largely untouched, with less development and endless intersecting of historic villages, hilltop castles and beautiful churches.

Portugal itself is a small, fascinating country at the most Western point of mainland Europe. The capital, Lisbon, is known for its lively nightlife, with endless bars and clubs full of fun-loving locals and tourists alike, but also has plenty of fascinating history (check out Belém, jam-packed with monuments!) and undulating terrain, famously termed the ‘city of the seven hills’.

THE REGION

Vale do Lobo is an expansive, one-of-a-kind resort where all holidaymakers, from couples and friends to families with children, can enjoy the luxury experience of a self-catered holiday villa year-round.

As a guest of the resort you’ll have access to its two-kilometre private strip of beach where life is always lush, but there is no shortage of other fun and indulgent activities for both kids and adults. You might choose to enjoy the excellent spa facilities or head down to the Praca, Vale do Lobo’s central seaside hub of luxury boutiques, bars and clubs. The private pool in the garden offers a prime space for children to have fun and tire themselves out, while you look on from the comfort of a sun lounger, ensuring you have an opportunity to relax whilst keeping an eye on the little ones. A cot is also available upon request.

The family-friendly environment of the Algarve means that children are welcomed wherever they go. There are plenty of children’s play areas and activities in Vale do Lobo, including golf, tennis, diving, canoeing, cycling and sailing boat rental. On your doorstep, you will find endless opportunities for an active day out Iberian sun, while the location on one of the best beach areas of the Algarve ensures you can enjoy a traditional family day trip to the beach, where snorkelling, boating excursions and thrilling watersports are all on offer.

There is the fantastic Zoomarine waterpark located close by in Guia; with several restaurants on the complex and plenty of green space to kick back, mums and dads can have a well-earned break while the kids amuse themselves on the big wheel, log flume and pirate ship: the ideal way to spend a day out. Slide and Splash, located in Estômbar, is full of spiralling water chutes and slides as well as river rapids and a giant jacuzzi. Aquashow another waterpark, located in Quarteira, also offers bird of prey and parrot shows, mini golf and a wax museum.

Visit Krazy World Zoo in Algoz, where there are not only animals to look at but lots of activities to get involved in too. Feeding times are always popular, as are the reptile shows. Kids can have a go at pony riding, play mini golf, take a dip in the tropical pools or enjoy some time at the little funfair. It is easy to spend a whole day at this popular attraction. For the speed demons, there is a fun go-karting centre located very close to the villa!

Security deposit €500 charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Not included in the rental price, extra €3 per towel to to be paid with the balance.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included.
Minimum stay 4 nights during low season.
Changeover day Flexible.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €30 per day (to be paid to OT prior to travel). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures. Pool heating is available between 1/4 and 31/10.
Tax Please be aware that a Tourist Tax mandated by local authorities may apply to your stay and is subject to change; this is an additional fee to be paid locally to the owner. The charge will be 2 Euros p.p for a max of 5 nights and 1 Euro p.p from March to November.
