Villa Marea sits proudly on the exclusive, popular resort of Vale do Lobo with elegance, sophistication, and impressive style. As you might expect in such a prestigious location, you will be met by electric gates which will open and lead you to this magnificent retreat. Villa Marea oozes its luxurious, serene ambience in a gorgeous, secluded plot brimming with mature gardens, majestic trees, and fabulous terraces. The villa boasts four beautiful bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 very lucky guests.

This sensational villa is situated in a quiet cul de sac within walking distance of the gorgeous beach and The Praca, the beating beachside complex that boasts numerous international restaurants, vibrant bars, seaside pools, massage, sports, beach activities and live entertainment. It is a truly impressive location with the Vale do Lobo enjoying two splendid championship golf courses, tennis, a spa, a children’s club and other activities.

Every aspect of Villa Marea is immaculate, from the manicured gardens and lawns to the pristine, serene exterior and beautiful interior design. You enter the villa on the upper floor, home to the main living spaces and the master bedroom suite. The remaining three bedrooms are on the lower floor, with access to the pool, terrace and gardens.

The main living space is drowned in natural sunlight, with many doors and windows opening onto a vast terrace. The furnishings are beautiful in wood and mellow tones. The sumptuous corner sofa, adorned with beautiful scatter cushions, faces the terrace and the enormous television with Sky channels and the contemporary fire. A Sonos music system runs throughout the villa. You will also be in style dining with a view. Adjoining the dining area is a very smart, very well-equipped, modern kitchen with excellent appliances and a breakfast bar where guests can keep the chef in your group company. There is a handy separate laundry room. The master bedroom suite enjoys a superbly comfortable, super kingsize bed and a luxurious ensuite bathroom. You will not want to be rushing to get ready when one of you can laze in the freestanding bath, perhaps with a glass of fizz in hand, while the other enjoys the powerful shower. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to the terrace where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee in supreme comfort and enjoy the garden views.

The large, covered, south-facing upper terrace boasts an electric awning to provide extra shade if required. It overlooks the pool and gardens and is beautifully furnished with lounge seating and alfresco dining for 10 guests using the villa’s gas barbecue. A beautiful sweeping staircase takes guests to the lower terrace and gardens without going back into the villa. The gardens are stunning, beautifully landscaped and blending perfectly into the relaxed setting. The 10m x 5.5m excellent swimming pool is surrounded by quality loungers, parasols and another alfresco lounge area. Tucked around the corner is a beautiful jacuzzi area where you can relax and enjoy the stunning gardens. There is also a shaded area with a hammock for tranquil moments out of the Algarve sun, perhaps a good spot to enjoy your holiday book.

The remaining three bedrooms are located on the lower floor, all with direct access to the terrace. One enjoys two sets of bunk beds and is ideal for children. It also enjoys an ensuite shower room. Another bedroom offers a sumptuous kingsize bed, and the last boasts twin beds that are usually next to each other, making one huge bed though offering flexible sleeping arrangements. Like the master, these rooms are beautifully adorned with luxurious soft furnishings. The lower double bedrooms share an immaculate family bathroom.

Villa Marea is a heavenly, elegant retreat where you can enjoy serenity and peace. You are also on the doorstep of the incredible attractions that Vale do Lobo and the Algarve has to offer.

Vale do Lobo is a very popular, exclusive resort designed in the sixties with golf in mind. It enjoys two outstanding championship courses amongst fragrant pine trees and stunning, panoramic sea views. The main square is lined with buzzing cocktail bars and excellent restaurants. Distinctive terracotta cliffs flank the 2km sweep of golden sands, and the rolling Atlantic waves are waiting for swimmers and water sports fans who enjoy a little surf.

Close to Vale do Lobo, Almancil is a charming town where you will get a feel of the real Algarve while browsing the gorgeous pottery shops and artists workshops. The neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco boasts one of the prettiest churches in the whole of the Algarve. The 18th-century church’s stunning blue and white azulejo work dates back to 1730, telling the story of its patron saint. Close to the church is the local centro cultural where visitors enjoy art exhibitions and musical performances.

The enchanting Portuguese market town of Loule is the perfect place for souvenir shopping in its Arabic inspired market. You can also buy local produce and freshly caught fish in the market. Loule’s Gothic Igreja Matriz Church is very beautiful. The Algarve Mar Shopping Centre is another excellent shopping opportunity. Close to Loule, you will find the magical Quinta da Tor where you can taste and buy some delicious authentic Algarvian wines.

The upmarket, bustling town of Vilamoura is a sporting haven boasting golf courses, horse riding, football pitches, watersports and a top tennis academy. Golf fans are spoilt for choice enjoying the most famous of the Algarve courses. The Old Course, set in a lush, fragrant pinewood, is the second oldest golf course in the Algarve. The Victoria, Laguna, Millenium, Pinhal and Vila Sol courses are all outstanding. Vilamoura’s awesome, the award-winning marina has played host to World Championship races, with many countries participating. It is very classy and smart, with glitzy bars and restaurants and glamorous super-yachts bobbing in the water. Vilamoura boasts two spectacular beaches, several of the regions leading spas and a fabulous casino.

The Ria Formosa Nature Park is a network of barrier islands and inlets created by constantly shifting sandbanks and is a wonderful day trip. It is stunningly beautiful and should not be missed. Ferry boats take visitors to the little islands of Barreta, Culatra, Armona and Ilha Tavira.

Villa Marea is perfect for a family holiday. This exceptional villa is extremely spacious, inside and out. The gardens are superb and very pretty. The pool is excellent. There is a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds which is ideal for children. It is within walking distance to the beach, which is a big plus.

As well as sensational, sandy beaches, the ‘Golden Triangle’ of the Algarve boasts water parks, theme parks and other families friendly entertainment. Within Vale do Lobo, there is a delightful children’s playground in the tennis valley. Next to The Praca and the beach, you will find Par. Tee Family Park. It offers a wide range of activities, including family yoga, dance classes, the TikTok challenge, sports activities, creative crafts, movies and much more.

Children love visiting Aquashow Park at Quarteira with its wave pool, lazy river, flumes, slides and fairground rides. The water coaster ride is a combination of an overground rollercoaster and a water ride. There is also a mini-train for the young ones and birds of prey and snake animal shows. Aqualand and Slide and Splash are the other two waterparks close by.

Krazy World is an interactive zoo with many activities for the whole family. There is a petting farm where you can interact with and feed dwarf goats, llamas and deer. There are crocodiles, rabbits, reptiles, birds, tortoises and lemurs. Children enjoy pony rides, animal presentations, swimming pools, a zipline, climbing, golf and much more. It is a great day out!

The Desert Pines Algarve Foot Golf near Vale do Lobo is great fun. Visitors play the golf-like course holes using their feet as clubs, kicking the ball from the tee to the green and into the cups. There are plenty of crazy golf courses around too. Almancil Go Karting enjoys an assortment of karts depending on age. Youngsters aged 13 and over will use the 200cc karts, and younger children have the junior karts. There are also two seater karts if parents would rather take the wheel. As well as karting, there are trampolines and buggy safaris.

Zoomarine is very popular and offers a variety of animal shows, exciting rides, slides and a selection of pools. Environmental education is the focus of its well-reputed rehabilitation centre for marine life. The dolphin, sea lion and birds of prey presentations are delightful. Visitors can get close to dolphins in the pool at Dolphin Emotions, but please make sure you book in advance though otherwise, you may be disappointed.

If the water is a little chilly on the beach, children can learn to surf or sail at Artur’s Academy at Quinta do Lago. There are many types of watercraft for rental, as well as a fantastic floating adventure playground. It is such good fun, and there are cafes around the lake.

Horse riding fans aged 4 and over can enjoy treks and tuition at Pinetrees Riding Stables. Other stables and equestrian centres close by where you can watch horse shows, including the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.
