Overview
Villa Ilia has a terrific location with supermarkets, restaurants and bars just a short stroll down the street toward the Marina. This villa’s style is reminiscent of the more traditional form of architecture, synonymous with the Old Village, which is a short walk away. The interior has recently been refurbished and is in a peaceful location, making this four-bedroom holiday home perfect for families.
As you come through the villa entrance, you will walk into an open plan living area where the dining space and lounge are on split levels. This airy white space is wonderful for enjoying some indoor activities, if the sun is not tolerable during its peak. A basement provides further entertainment, where you can use the pool table. The kitchen has a striking contrast of vibrant red cabinets and black marble topped counters & black tiled floors. So hopefully you’ll be able to take on some of the traits of the fully equipped kitchen and create some equally exciting dishes.
As you leave the kitchen, you are greeted by a covered outdoor dining and the barbeque area. The original terracotta tiled flooring remains cool throughout the day, so no more quick dashes between the swimming pool and patio area are required. The enclosed garden is shielded by leafy hedges and sun loungers are scattered upon the lawn encircling the ‘L-shaped’ swimming pool.
The villas bedroom configuration comprises of a master En-suite double bedroom, an en-suite bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with two single beds on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom. There is also a communal bathroom on each floor, for your guests’ convenience.
What you should know…
- Don’t expect complete silence during the day, as the villa is situated in a residential area

THE REGION
Vilamoura has been a glamorous town ever since Roman time. Its rich history is still palpable as you walk its streets, coming upon Roman Baths and ancient murals all around town. These days, Vilamoura is still a high-class destination although it has certainly kept up with the times. Yachts dock at the large marina and travellers galavant the seaside strip hopping between bars, restaurants and the dazzling casino.
The local championship courses naturally attract a crowd of golf enthusiasts as well, and there is a large selection of other sports to enjoy in the area (including those best played out in the water). There is certainly no need to ever be bored in Vilamoura, but if it’s ultimate relaxation you’re after you won’t be disappointed. The town is alluringly close to Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, where the golden sand and hot Mediterranean sun is just about never-ending.

Very Good
The location of this villa is excellent. It’s very quiet but only a short walk from The old village. The villa itself is ok but nothing special, particularly for the price. The garden is lovely though
