Engulfed by snow-capped peaks and rolling pistes, Chalet Aigle is a winter chalet unlike any other. Spanning three levels, this elegant seven-bedroom estate comfortably sleeps fourteen guests.
Located in the picturesque Musillon district of Méribel, it’s part of the Les Allues valley — one of the largest and well-known ski attractions in the world. Only 750 m by foot from the centre of Méribel resort, it has easy access to the snow front and ski schools.
The chalet brings together the authentic charm of an Alpine ski cabin with a wealth of high-end amenities. Its Savoyard-style architecture is blessed with views of the snowy mountains and 3 Vallées slopes. The living area is inviting and sumptuous, with clean lines, graceful rustic elements and snug furnishing.
After a long day on the slopes, relax your muscles in the private hammam or unwind for hours in indoor jacuzzi. Gather around the stony fireplace and bond over stories from the day with friends and family.
If you’re staying with toddlers, you can request for high chairs. The kitchen is roomy and well-equipped, with glossy countertops and modern cabinetry.
You’re never short on entertainment options, thanks to the cosy lounge room. Make the most of the well-stocked gym, while the foosball table and board games keep little ones busy.
All six bedrooms are warm and comfy, adorned with stylish wooden accents. Two of them are en-suite with double beds and tubs. The children’s room has a bunk bed and en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom is kitted with a luxurious double bed, while the fifth and sixth room have twin beds. All washrooms come with a shower, towel dryer, single sink and toilet.

About the surrounding area of Chalet AigleThe chalet is located in Méribel, a premiere ski resort in the Valley of Allues. Home to more than 600 kilometres of gorgeous pistes, it’s one of the largest ski areas in the world.
The chalet is close to a range of teeming boutiques, trendy restaurants, lively fireworks and nightspots. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the shuttle to explore the exciting ambience of Méribel Centre. Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat, with thrilling winter sports activities like snowshoeing, dog sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you run into bad weather, there are plenty of entertainment options. Head to Olympic Park and enjoy its various activities such as a 25-metre swimming pool, gym, spa and climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its arsenal of shops, eclectic restaurants and cosy pubs.
If you want a break from skiing, enjoy the scenic hiking trails around the valley. Discover quaint mountain villages, frozen lakes and snow-capped peaks. Post 3 pm every day, enjoy dazzling cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe chalet promises an unforgettable time for the little ones. It offers plenty of space for them to roam freely, build snowmen and play-fight with snowballs. Take them for scenic hikes, horse riding and cycling adventures.
After a long day outdoors, they can watch their favourite cartoons in the TV lounge or play indoor games. Treat them to warm bubble baths in the glossy jacuzzi. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, the staff will be happy to help.
Set in an enviable location, the chalet is also at an easy distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. The staff will be happy to help you with details about ski schools and kid-friendly attractions nearby.
Méribel is a star attraction for the entire family, with several activities specially designed for kids. Head to Olympic Park and spend a joyous time in the ice-skating rink. The little ones won't get enough of the bowling alley which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over three. Watch children's films every evening at Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen cinema hall.
Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 mins by car from Méribel Centre.
