Chalet des Cerisiers is located just outside the centre of Méribel, with a prime position offering some of the resort's most impressive views. These can be fully appreciated from the first-floor balcony terrace of this spacious and contemporary catered chalet.
With a private driver exclusive to the chalet, you can reach the main lift centre of Chaudanne in no time at all. The centre of Méribel is also just a 10-minute walk away.
The interior of Chalet des Cerisiers is bright and luxurious, with a feel of the traditional throughout. Set over three floors, there are five ensuite bedrooms. An additional bunk room also sleeps four, the perfect hideaway for children. It's sure to be a hit with the little ones!
The themes of wood, glass and stylish neutral colours carry on from the bedrooms into the wonderful open-plan living space. Sink back into the sofa and soothe any aching muscles from a long day of skiing. The fireplace makes this sociable space even cosier as you gather together in the evenings.
A professional chef prepares delicious meals on seven nights of your stay, allowing you to simply sit back and relax. Cooked breakfasts and afternoon tea are also available to make your stay comfortable.
You have several indulgent options for leisure time at Chalet des Cerisiers. Take a dip in the chalet's large indoor swimming pool, or head outside to unwind in the sauna. There's also a beautiful cedar hot tub on the first-floor balcony terrace, with stunning views over the treetops and mountains.
Being just outside the centre of the Méribel resort means you get to enjoy some of the best views and great connections to the centre. You can walk into Méribel or take advantage of driver service. Waiting for you in the centre of Méribel is an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and shops – and they're all just a 10-minute walk from the chalet. The main lift centre is also only a short distance away.
Try a range of exciting activities alongside skiing. Some of the highlights include snow-shoe walking, riding snowmobiles around the resort and hot-air ballooning. Or, go on horse-drawn sleigh rides with the family for a laid-back way of seeing the resort's beautiful landscapes.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe Méribel resort is home to several ski schools that are great for teaching children of all ages and levels of ability. Many offer a mix of both indoor and outdoor games also.
There are plenty of other activities to keep children happy, as well as skiing. Take them on snowmobile rides around the resort or enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides. Especially aimed at children are activities such as night-time tobogganing and igloo building.
The Olympic sports complex has lots of indoor entertainment on offer, including ice skating, swimming and bowling. Adults can enjoy the gym and spa facilities.
