Chalet Doron is a luxurious winter chalet with five bedrooms for eight adults and two children. It’s located100 meters from the centre of Méribel Village, in the valley of Les Allues — one of the largest and hugely sought-after ski destinations in the world.
The chalet blends Alpine cottage with the luxuries of modern travel. Its soft wooden architecture matches perfectly with the surroundings, making you feel like a part of nature. Savour breathtaking mountain vistas from the spacious balcony. After a long day on the slopes, pamper yourself in the exclusive sauna and hammam.
The living room is warm and elegant, with glossy wooden furniture and a central stone fireplace. You’re never short on entertainment options, thanks to the TV and DVD/ Blu-ray player. Little guests can spend hours playing board games before bedtime. If you’re working remotely, you can use the chalet’s office area and speedy Wi-Fi.
The adjoining dining table is perfect for family dinners. The adjacent kitchen is airy and fully-furnished.
While three bedrooms have two single beds, two of them are en-suite. The kids’ room is kitted with a bunk bed. The top most floor of the chalet features the master room, with two large double beds and en-suite bathroom.
It also features a ski room, kitted with a ski cupboard and boot warmer. Other facilities include a laundry room, outdoor furniture and parking space.

About the surrounding area of Chalet DoronThe chalet is located in Méribel, a prime ski resort in the Valley of Allues. With over 600 kilometres of rolling pistes, it’s celebrated as one of the largest ski areas in the world.
The chalet is a short distance from chic boutiques, gastronomical adventures, magical fireworks and trendy nightspots. Take the Olympe gondola lift or the bus to the Méribel Centre. Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat, with exciting winter sports activities like snowshoeing, husky sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you run into bad weather, you have plenty of entertainment options. The Olympic Park by La Chaudanne features a 25-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its myriad of shops, eclectic restaurants and cosy pubs. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar, against an awe-inspiring backdrop of Mont Vallon.
Non-skiers can explore 25 kms of spectacular hiking trails across the valley. Witness charming villages, frozen lakes and majestic peaks. Post 3 pm every day, witness dazzling cabaret acts, singing performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.
Méribel Village is a scenic hamlet, slightly removed from Méribel Centre. A cocoon of tranquillity, it’s perched at an altitude of 1400 metres. Marvel at its beautiful wooden and stone chalets. Explore its rustic chapel and feel like you have stepped into the pages of history.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe chalet promises an incredible time for kids. They can build snowmen, play-fight with snowballs and enjoy a variety of activities like hiking, horse riding and cycling. After a long day outdoors, they can catch up on their favourite TV shows or play board games. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, the staff will be happy to help.
The chalet could not be better located. It’s at an easy distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. The staff will be happy to help you with details about ski schools in the neighbourhood.
Méribel is an ideal getaway for the entire family, with many activities specially designed for kids. Head to Olympic Park and have a blast on the ice-skating rink. The little ones can show off their motor skills in the bowling alley which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over three.
Tuck into Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen experience, which shows children’s films every evening. Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 mins by car from Méribel Centre. Your kids will love taking pictures and sending their social media into a tizzy.
