Imagine waking up and gazing towards Mont Blanc every morning. Close to the Évasion Mont-Blanc skiing areas alongside summer mountain and lakeside activities, Chalet Frozen is ideally located for a wealth of wonderful experiences at any time of year.
Indeed, this contemporary chalet enjoys the best of both worlds in a calm setting with incredible vistas yet also close to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, summer swimming and more – this is exactly why its current owners fell in love with Chalet Frozen.
This winter and summer holiday home sleeps up to 12 guests (and two additional children) across six bedrooms. We especially love the gorgeous queen-size double bedroom on the first-floor with the open en suite bathroom and doors leading to the balcony.
There’s another double bedroom with access to the same balcony, a children’s quad room with bunk-beds, a shower room with the luxury of a sauna, and a separate quirky annexe with a loft-style double reached via a ladder. You may prefer the easier-to-access ground-floor double or perhaps the lower floor featuring the final bedroom and shower room, next to the relaxing games lounge with table football.
The open-plan living space is sumptuous with its stylish blue sofa, fireplace and sliding windows opening out to the terrace, a few steps away from the covered 5-person hot tub that can be used in any weather. The kitchen is fantastically equipped to prepare Alpine feasts to be enjoyed together on the table and benches or al-fresco with those magnificent mountain views.
For winter stays, look out for a great range of skiing slopes around Combloux and Megève for both beginners and experienced whilst families will love Megève’s sledging opportunities! Both Saint-Gervais-les-Bains and the Mont-Blanc Tramway are easily reached whilst a little further afield is the family-friendly resort of Les Houches and cosmopolitan Chamonix, home to France’s tallest cable car to Aiguille du Midi.
Throughout the year, soak up the charming ambience of the traditional mountain village of Combloux with its restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. As the snow melts the area is a mecca for hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts whilst you are also close to the idyllic Lac de Passy, only 5km by car, for beaches, summer swimming, watersports, tree-top adventures, go-karting, nature walks and so much more.
The chalet is available year-round, but facilities, property and local amenities may vary depending upon season.
