This stylish, relaxed, comfortable apartment enjoys fantastic views and is located on the 1st Floor of a detached chalet residence. Alpine living begins in the spacious open-style living area, a great space to chill out and watch your large TV on the squashy sofa and chairs in front of a wood-burning feature fireplace. The open kitchen has plenty of space and all the mod cons including, an oven, hob microwave, fridge freezer, and dishwasher. Enjoy a hearty feast at the six-seater farmhouse-style table or enjoy some alfresco dining on the expansive terrace facing incredible mountainous views and has comfy loungers where you can relax take in the scenery.

Bedroom one is an inviting spacious en-suite master bedroom. There is a second stylish double bedroom with the added bonus of spectacular views from its balcony. And a great third bedroom with alpine-style bunk beds which the kids will absolutely adore.

The property offers total relaxation with a family bathroom and a separate WC and don’t worry about the washing as there are laundry facilities including a washer machine and dryer located in a separate laundry room.

Portes Du Soleil has one of the most spectacular skiing terrains in Europe and the fabulous ski slopes can easily be accessed from Morzine attracting visitors from all over the world.

Apartment Lisa is perfectly positioned to make the most of this extraordinary area. Portes Du Soleil is made up of 12 resorts that straddle France and Switzerland between Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva. There are over 600km of slopes that provide a huge variety of runs suitable for all levels of skiers. With an abundance of winter sports to sample, including snowshoeing, Snowmobiling or husky-dog sledging, Morzine is a great option for families and larger groups.

Morzine has three main lift stations located in the centre of the village. Super Morzine takes you to the exhilarating slopes of Avoriaz, which has the highest skiing in the area. Avoriaz also has some of the best snowparks in the Alps and is home to Europe’s first free-style park. The Pleney lift is a firm favourite with families and is also very popular with beginners and low-intermediate skiers because of the lovely long blue runs and open reds, which return to the village or provide access to the ski resort of Les Gets. Thrill seekers and adrenalin junkies head to The Nyon lift located at the North end of the valley. The lift accesses the Nyon-Chamossiere Sector at 2010m, which boasts two amazing runs as well as some challenging off-piste options.

Morzine is a fully functioning all-year-round resort. Offering fabulous scenery, stunning landscapes, and many paths to explore on foot or mountain bike makes the area a wonderful place to see throughout the year. There are many attractions to enjoy including Lake fishing at Lac Mines d’Or and Golf at the Morzine-Avoriaz & Les Gets golf courses.

Morzine is a truly charming and authentic village offering a wonderful selection of local restaurants, patisseries, shops and bars, however the mountains are the real star with stunning snowy pistes and in the warmer months, several fantastic hiking paths and mountain bike trails, considered by many to be the best in Europe.

The town of Morzine is easily accessible and is truly abuzz in the evenings. Michelin-acclaimed restaurants flock to this desired resort and there are plenty of bars to enjoy cocktails and beers.

Morzine is a fantastic ski resort with slopes for all levels of skiers and children are particularly well catered for.

There are great ski schools that specialise in teaching children from the age of 3 and Morzine is ideal for absolute beginners with one green piste at the bottom of the Pleney and another at the top, with a children’s zone where the little ones can practice. Children can be signed up for half or full days with upgrades available, including childcare before or after the lesson and lunch if required. Morzine offers plenty of other activities for children that do not ski and for children under the age of 3.

Sledges can be taken onto dedicated slopes and at the bottom of the Chavannes in Les Gets, there’s a dedicated area for families with small children. Older kids can also enjoy the thrill of guided night sledging from the top of the Pleney lift after the slopes are closed to skiers. It is loads of fun and you’ll be lucky if you manage to stay in your sledge the whole way down! Children aged 8-11 must be accompanied by an adult.

In the warmer months, summer sledging or luge takes place on the hillside close to the Pleney gondola in Morzine centre. Take the lift up and sledge down 150 metres to the bottom. There are two trails of different lengths and difficulty levels, starting from the Crusaz chairlift. Available from early July to early September Children must be 3 years old and under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult.

For an absolute treat, why not take the kids for a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Starting around midday from the tourist office, up to 6 people can ride in a horse-drawn carriage around the village and beyond. Morzine has plenty of indoor activities too. You could check out the large indoor ice rink at the Palais des Sports which is also home to lively Ice Hockey matches, great fun for families to see.
