As well as providing exceptional ski and snowboarding in the winter months, Morzine is a fabulous resort for every season. You can partake in hiking, horse riding and white water rafting amongst many other activities in the warmer months.

Apartment Megan is on the 3rd floor of a new chalet-style residence and seamlessly blends Alpine features with contemporary style. Attractive and well laid out, the apartment combines high vaulted ceilings, a neutral palate and tasteful modern furnishings to create a smart comfortable retreat to enjoy after exhilarating adventures on the slopes.
The open-style living and dining space offers a large smart sofa and chair set around a flat screen TV and the modern dining table is placed so you can enjoy amazing mountainous views whilst tucking into fabulous feasts. The chic kitchen has two counters and provides all the mod cons a chef should need to rustle up tasty delights!
The two separate bedrooms are stylish and fresh and each have the luxury of an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 1 is a chic double bedroom and bedroom 2 is a characterful alpine-style twin bedroom. There is free Wi-Fi throughout and a secluded furnished balcony as well as a garage and ski locker for guests to use.

About the surrounding area of Apartment MeganApartment Megan enjoys an excellent central location in Morzine, close to the Super Morzine gondola and mountain activities, as well as the delights of the charming town.
Morzine is located at the heart of The Portes du Soleil, one of the world’s largest and most picturesque ski regions and offers unmissable skiing and snowboarding. Made up of 12 resorts that straddle France and Switzerland between Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva, over 600km of slopes provide a huge variety of runs suitable for all skiers. With an abundance of winter sports to sample, including snowshoeing, Snowmobiling or husky-dog sledging, Morzine is a great option for families and larger groups.
Morzine has three main lift stations and Apartment Megan is a great location near the Super Morzine gondola, located in the centre of the village. Super Morzine takes you to the exhilarating slopes of Avoriaz, which has the highest skiing in the area. Avoriaz also has some of the best snowparks in the Alps and is home to Europe’s first freestyle park.
Across town is the Pleney lift, a favourite with families and is also very popular with beginners and low intermediate skiers because of the lovely long blue runs and open reds, which return to the village or provide access to Les Gets.
Thrill seekers and adrenalin junkies head to The Nyon lift located at the North end of the valley. The lift accesses the Nyon-Chamossiere Sector at 2010m which boasts two amazing runs as well as some challenging off-piste options.
Morzine offers an excellent choice of restaurants and bars from lively music venues, charming bistros serving hearty homemade food to upmarket fine dining. There is something for every taste and budget.
Unmissable are the wonderful mountainside restaurants with terraces where you can enjoy long lazy lunches or lively fun-filled evenings, many kick off the apres ski fun at Bar Tremplin that enjoys an enviable location right at the foot of the Pleney slopes. It is a great place to pop for an apres-ski drink on their fabulous terrace as the sun goes down. La Folie Douce in Avoriaz has easy access on skis or on foot and offers excellent après ski time with fine dining and the ultimate disco party, and if you want to party until the early morning there are two clubs attracting superb DJs.
Morzine is a wonderful destination any time of year with plenty of activities to enjoy in the warmer months including Mountain trekking mountain biking, Lake fishing at Lac Mines d’Or and Golf at the Morzine-Avoriaz & Les Gets golf courses.

Best Suited For: All AgesMorzine is a fabulous large ski resort with slopes for all levels of skiers and is an ideal choice for families with children. The town of Morzine is super family-friendly, offering a great selection of amenities and activities and really good family-friendly restaurants. There is so much to do and see ‘I’m bored’ shouldn’t be a phrase you hear often!
Skiing is easy to learn when you are little and Morzine offers a good selection of ski schools that specialise in teaching children from the age of three. Children can be signed up for half or full days with upgrades available, including childcare before or after the lesson and lunch if required. There are also nursery facilities and children’s clubs for fun activities.
If you need a time out there are childcare agencies where you can book nannies for baby-sitting or to cut down on the luggage. You can hire baby essentials such as car seats, high chairs, booster seats, changing mats and cots.
Morzine offers plenty of activities for children that do not ski and for the tiny ones under the age of 3. Babies and toddlers can get a taste for some downhill action on the small slopes.
The slopes offer numerous activities and the kids will love the dedicated sledging slope at the bottom of the Crusaz chairlift. Children from the age of 6 can sledge safely during the day. Older kids can also enjoy the thrill of guided night sledging from the top of the Pleney lift after the slopes are closed to skiers. Children aged 8-11 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is a fabulous selection of family-friendly restaurants in Morzine, Le Colibri is a fantastic all-day restaurant, serving delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, which is easily reached with a buggy.
The town is made for family fun and the wonderful outdoor ice rink with colourful lights and lively music is a real draw in the Town Square. If the weather is bad, you can still skate in Morzine at the Palais des Sports which boasts a large indoor ice rink and you can also be a spectator at loud lively Ice Hockey matches.
If the kids are tired and its kick back time, grab the popcorn and head the town cinema which shows all the latest releases.
