Ideally placed for guests to make the most of some of the spectacular ski terrain in Europe and boasting an array of fabulous facilities, including a hot tub, a sauna, and a home gym, this elegant five-bedroom chalet promises an unforgettable experience in the French Alps for up to fifteen guests.
The expansive living space offers high-lofted ceilings in an open-plan layout. A Charlotte Perriand library and a stylish staircase also highlight the individuality of this stunning mountain hideaway. The dining area benefits from panoramic views, while the minimalist kitchen at Chalet Mernaz is a culinary enthusiast’s dream, featuring a range of modern appliances and a central island.
The chalet offers a dedicated wellness area with a Finnish sauna for soothing tired muscles and an outdoor hot tub for an après-ski experience under the stars.
The chalet boasts five tastefully decorated bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms, one of which features a modern en-suite bathroom. Two more bedrooms are ideal for families, each featuring a double bed and a mezzanine level accessed via a wooden ladder staircase, where two single beds are located. These bedrooms also offer spacious en-suite bathrooms. The fifth bedroom in Chalet Mernaz is ideal for younger visitors, with cabin-style bunk beds for up to four guests.
The chalet is available year-round, but facilities, property and local amenities may vary depending upon season.

Located in the stunning Portes du Soleil ski area, Morzine boasts plenty of old-world Savoyard charm and a host of outdoor activities to enjoy, whatever the season. Boasting a majestic Mont Blanc backdrop, the vast Portes du Soleil area encompasses twelve interconnected ski resorts with over 600km of slopes to suit all experience levels.
The Télécabine de Super Morzine offers spectacular panoramic views and direct access to Avoriaz. For young families, there are nursery slopes available in the centre of Morzine, while intermediate and advanced skiers can make the most of a variety of exciting blue and red runs. Morzine is also home to roughly 50km of cross-country trails. There are plenty of fantastic green and blue slopes around Avoriaz, where novice skiers can spend the day progressing at their own pace and exploring in peace.
A wide array of fabulous French and Swiss restaurants are also dotted across Morzine and the surrounding resorts. Morzine offers many après-ski options for visitors to enjoy, ranging from cosy mountain inns to lively bars in the heart of the town centre.
During winter, the scenic village of Les Lindarets offers a dazzling white playground for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. When warmer weather arrives, hundreds of goats roam the streets of this quaint Alpine village in place of all the winter sports enthusiasts! Take care driving or cycling here in the summer, but do make sure to visit to take in this incredibly unique sight, accompanied by the dreamlike sound of chiming bells.

Specialist ski schools in the town offer first-time skiing lessons to children ages three years and older, with experienced childcare professionals available upon request before and after each lesson. Kids' clubs provide various activities, while toddlers can enjoy the powder-soft snow of the town's gentlest slopes.
If you wish to combine your visit with some time on the slopes, the Proclou green slope is a wide piste for beginners.
Winter
In winter, Chalet Mernaz transforms into a cosy family haven conveniently located close to the slopes of Morzine. The chalet's spacious living area with a fireplace is perfect for family bonding after a day on the slopes. The proximity to ski lifts and ski schools makes it ideal for families with children, offering easy access to skiing and snowboarding. The chalet's sauna and outdoor hot tub provide relaxation for parents while kids can enjoy the snowy landscape. The village atmosphere adds to the charm, offering children a safe and delightful environment to explore.
Summer
Warmer weather also brings a wealth of outdoor activities for children to enjoy in the French Alps. Younger visitors will be amazed by the stunning natural beauty of Lake Montriond, where they can enjoy swimming, paddling, and canoeing to their hearts' content. There are also plenty of activities on dry land, including pony riding experiences and mini golf. Later, make your way home to Chalet Mernaz in time to enjoy the sunset from the hot tub before snuggling up in front of the warm glow of the fire!
