Each of the resort’s ten architecturally-designed glamping tents features a covered wooden terrace with comfortable outdoor seating and breathtaking views, where guests can unwind with a glass of excellent Slovenian wine and watch the sunset over the mountains. There is also a small, secluded garden with a private jacuzzi, a blissful spot to visit at any time of day for a moment of quiet relaxation. Guests are invited to use the resort’s amazing sauna with its wonderful herbal aromas and a peaceful fresh water swimming pool. For those who wish to indulge in a luxurious spa treatment whilst staying at Canopy Lodge, herbal massages and facials using natural produce from the resort’s garden are available.

The bespoke glamping tents have been built using only natural materials, making this the ideal eco-friendly destination. Guests will be charmed by the tent’s warm, relaxed interior living space, featuring a simple dining area, a comfortable lounge with a sofa and TV, and a spacious double bed. This space leads to a spacious en-suite bathroom, featuring two wash basins and a walk-in shower. The tent’s bright and airy living space perfectly encapsulates the rustic natural beauty of its surroundings, instilling a sense of calm and tranquility at the beginning of each new day.

Ascending a quirky feature ladder, guests will reach the tent’s mezzanine gallery, featuring another double bed and a charming lofted ceiling, creating a welcoming ambience. This is the perfect place to relax with a good book after a day spent exploring the resort’s magical surroundings by bike or on foot. Once the stars have come out, each tent becomes a warm and cosy haven, with soft lighting, central heating and air-conditioning throughout.

Prepared using organic ingredients hand-picked from the garden, a delicious breakfast is included every morning during your stay at Canopy Lodge. In the resort’s renovated main house, you can relax in a warm, traditional lounge with authentic furnishings. Here you will also find a private restaurant, where you can enjoy a selection of outstanding regional cuisine made with fresh local produce. You can follow any number of unspoiled trekking trails here, with beautiful vistas at every turn. The valley is much loved by tourists and locals alike for its rare flower species, breathtaking scenery and cascading waterfalls. Visit Rinka Falls at the source of the Savinja River and the valley’s powerful waters will completely spellbind you. Further along the river, you will find the opportunity to rent a kayak, perfect for an exhilarating afternoon spent enjoying the wild water.

Drive away from your rural oasis for just over an hour to reach Slovenia’s fairytale capital city. Wander the cobbled streets of Ljubljana’s Old Town and stop for a coffee before soaking up the atmosphere at one of the city’s outdoor markets. Bikes are also available to rent if you wish to drive to Logar Valley before setting off on an adventure. From Logar Valley Landscape Park, you can bike to beautiful rivers and streams, working farmsteads, traditional mountain huts and majestic waterfalls. Guided tours and entertainment are available at the enchanting Fairytale Forest, where younger children will be completely captivated by the forest’s hidden treasures. There are thirty-five fairytales to be discovered here, with each traditional Slovenian folk tale being shared through multi-sensory activities involving magical wooden houses and forest figures.

For an exhilarating subterranean adventure, visit the snow cave on Raduha. The ethereal beauty of this natural wonder, Slovenia’s highest lying tourist cave, is almost twelve million years old.
